Always a great experience. Pete and his kids do a great job running a tight ship.Brought my truck in for an oil change and brake bleed I always supply my own choice of oil and filter. I also asked they bleed my brakes, I had the truck back in 2 hours there employees work very fast and thorough. I d like too add my truck had no washer fluid but I had a new one in the back seat for after I got my truck back and they selflessly topped it off with my fluid. Couldn t be happier. Prices are great as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Was referred here by my daughter. Owner is extremely honest and helpful. He was able to fit me in last minute and I am very appreciative for his time. Also best prices around as I checked many in the area.

If you have car issues I highly recommend Pete s Master muffler a brake. Pete was honest a just beyond awesome . The other mechanics there were great too. We are taking our car back next week to get other stuff done. Midas wanted to charge us $1500 Pete charged us $100. He was honest with what was wrong an what would need to replace next.

As a woman I found an HONEST mechanic!! They do great work! They also don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. (i.e. I had an exhaust leak. Part of the pipe rusted out causing a 2" hole. They cut out the rust and welded in a new section of pipe for less than $75. Dealership said I had to replace the exhaust system $1700.). Long story short, he will never sell you direct fluid.

Best mechanic shop I've ever been to. Straightforward, friendly, and they take everyone seriously, no matter who you are. Plus, they do amazing work for really fair prices! Cannot recommend highly enough, this is the place to go.

My muffler dislodged from the engine, which made my van LOUD & caused a loss of power/speed. Everyone suggested I take it here.. so I did & WOW was everyone right about this place.Instead of scamming me (like 90% of auto shops do today) & making me pay for an entire new muffler system.. they welded on a new piece & saved me at LEAST $1,000. The CAT was in great shape, so they had me in & out in a couple of hours.In this economy.. having a trustworthy mechanic who isn't out rip you off is so detrimental. I can NOT thank you guys enough. I look forward to doing business with Master Muffler & Brake for life.

I arrived at 8:10 a.m. and the waiting room was already full. I was greeted right away, and my car taken in within 15 minutes! This place is run like a well-oiled machine. Never seen anything like it. No mechanics hanging around or hiding out back. My car was actually fixed, and I was out of there in an hour and 15 minutes. Absolutely no sticker shock when it came time for me to pay. Although a Kingston resident, I will bring my son's WRX there as needed. TY Cord at Scag's Transmission for the referral. Brought a part for them to press and also asked that they take something off of it that I could get off with hand tools. They pressed the parts together for me but must've completely forgot about removing the part for me.

Peter has taken care of my families and my cars for years. My father in law swears by a different mechanic who earlier this week insisted he needed all new break pads and the rear rotars.After insisting he get a second opinion he dropped the car off with Peter at Masters who said he not only didn't need rotars but also had plenty of life left in his pads.He also refused any payment despite my FIL's insistance and thankfulness.If you dont have a mechanic go to Masters.if you do have a mechanic, switch to Masters.End of story.

My check engine light started flashing while I was on the highway. I called to ask when I could drop it off and they asked what the car was doing. They advised me to pull over to a safe spot because driving it could cause more damage. I had it towed to their shop at 5pm and they called me at 8:30 the next morning with their diagnosis. I got my car back that same day. They replaced all my spark plugs and I was shocked by how reasonable the price was. Excellent service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Peter's shop always does a great job. It's pricing is more than fair. He never tries to add on jobs that you do not need. We have been coming here for years and would not consider going anywhere else.

After a week vacation on Cape Cod we get in the car to drive back to Boston and our muffler falls off on the highway!!! We search for a local auto shop but nearly every one was closed because it was Labor Day weekend. Master Muffler was not only open, but they immediately took our Audi and fixed the muffler in less than a hour. They only charged $200. They saved our day. If you have muffler problems, this is the place to go. Thank you master muffler!

Got my control arms replaced here. Good service but I don't understand why one of the workers was connected to my Bluetooth when I picked it up. If they test drive my car to listen for issues they shouldn't be listening to music or podcasts while doing so. There's still vibration in my gas pedal too which I let them know about when I brought it in. Other than that the parts were installed very well.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Over the past few years I've heard nothing but rave reviews of this shop but I had a shop I used and trusted but that's a different review. I had my truck inspected by another shop right before Christmas and it failed for ball joints. That shop took 5 days to get me a price to fix it then couldn't do the work for another week so I decided it was time to try Pete's and I am glad I did. I called told him what I needed and he was able to look at it the next day and gave me the news it needed additional parts, I agreed to go ahead with the work, picked it up today, it's driving straight again and on top of it all the cost was affordable. The other shop gave me a price just for the ball joints that was almost to the dollar for what I paid for ball joints and inner tie rods. I found a new shop and won't take my truck or my wife's car anywhere else again. I am just bummed it took this long to finally try Pete's Master Muffler. I brought a tire to them just to have it put on the rim and all though they were highly busy with other cars they drove my car right up front and of one of the bays and had my tire ready and inflated with in 15 minutes. That including taking the spare off and mounting the new tire with original rim. Satisfied with the speed and urgency they treated me with. Will be back in the next days to to have brakes and rotors replaced. These are hard working mechanics who will absolutely get my future bussiness.Service: Tires

This morning I brought in an old SUV with high mileage and an exhaust leak. The technician determined that welding new flanges onto existing pipes to the catalytic converter would fix the problem and be considerably less expensive than replacing several pipes. I was out of the shop with a quiet exhaust system within an hour. The service was terrific.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

So usual I have my mechanic dad fix everything. Well 2 years ago he had a stroke and is now disabled, so long story short Master Muffler is the only place I take my car!! Great staff and top notch work! Fair prices and willing to go out of their way to help you out in your time of automotive need. They helped me out greatly recently with fixing a loose heat shield. Got me out and on my way quickly and did the repair as a favor. Highly recommended them overall!

The folks at Master Muffler and Brake have always provided excellent and efficient service. They have been servicing my automobiles for about ten years with excellent results and, usually, same-day return of the vehicle. Peter and his staff are always responsive, friendly, and straight-forward. I highly recommend this company.

Another great experience at Peter s! Was told by the dealership the fuel pump had to be replaced ($1200 job). Brought it to Peter and turns out the gas gauge was not reading correctly. Would have been nice to have the option to just keep in mind when the gauge reads 1/4 full=empty instead of paying $1200 for a new fuel pump that most likely would not have not solved the issue. Approximately $120 for the diagnosis and a couple gallons of gas and I was on my way. Thanks Peter Service: General repairs & maintenance
