I took my car to Don & Dave s and they gave me a honest diagnosis and recommendations. They checked everything to make sure my car was safe to drive and took the time to explain to me what was going on. As a young, single woman it was so nice to feel like you weren t being taken advantage of and still being looked after. I highly recommend!!

Very happy with the service at this shop. Service manager is efficient and explains things clearly. They perform work that is needed but don't try to oversell you on work you don't need. Reasonable pricing.

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable walking into an auto shop especially for the first time. I have had bad experiences in the past so it always causes me anxiety. Can t say enough about how I was treated. Everyone in the shop was so friendly and kind! They had an extremely fair price for my brakes and did it quickly and professionally. I wish all mechanics were like this! Would give more stars is I could!

Here working for the summer and needed new brakes on my vehicle. It s tough finding a reliable mechanic as a young person. They knocked the ball out of the park, called me and told me exactly what needed to be fixed in a manner that was understanding downright professional. The kindness they exude made me feel safe in a place i m not all too familiar in. Cant thank and recommend them enough!Service: Brakes

Highly recommend this place, my splash guard got bent back and they were able to fix it right away, which I was so great full for cause I was going back home later that day. Also, everyone was super friendly, helpful and explained how they fixed my car. If you need anything done, or fixing on your car Don and Dave s auto is the place to go.

I won t go anywhere else. Extremely trustworthy and always a fair or more than fair price. I ve always had plenty of anxiety when I needed a car repair shop.I don t have to feel like that anymore. They won t tell you something is wrong when it s not and they won t charge more than they should. I ve never trusted a shop before. I trust this one. I ve been in there 4 times for unrelated issues. The first time in my old vehicle. They were upfront that they wouldn t touch it. That the fix wouldn t be worth it due to how bad everything else was. They could ve taken the job, charged me more than I could afford and sent me on my way in an unsafe vehicle. They didn t. I ended up trading it and have gone to them ever since for anything I need. If they re booked up and you have to wait a week or 2, it s worth it.

I book appointment. It took 1 month to get in. Changed rear breaks and rotors. 600 bucks. 1 week later grinding and terrible noises. Brought it back. They put it on lift did not take wheels off. Did not find any issues. Took my car to mazda dealership after more noise. Breaks put in wrong attachment wires digging into rotors parts bought did not fit correctly. Had to pay dealership to fix what this shop did on my car additional 150 bucks. 2 kids ride in this car to school. Is this how you treat us?

Don & Dave s was able to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon. to take a look at my car and they were really friendly and helpful. They explained what was going on to me and gave recommendations/suggestions. If I was staying in the cape for longer I would choose to get work on my car done here!

Went for the first time of recommendation of a client. Had my brakes and rotors done. Excellent service and more importantly excellent communication. Gave honest answers of what needed to be done vs what could wait. These guys have a new customer for life

Highly recommend this place..the service I received was above and beyond. They were kind, professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent quality service in a reasonable time frame. I had been recommend by at least 3 people before I tried them out and I'm confident that now I have a place I can continue to take my vehicle to when needed and know I won't have to worry!Services: Tires, Brakes

I have never had car work done on Cape before since I didn't know any mechanics and didn't want to chance it. However, I didn't have a choice and asked around. Don and Dave's was recommended by a local. I went to them for a relatively simple mechanical problem. They diagnosed it and fixed it for a reasonable price. They were very professional and accommodating to my schedule. Glad I have a "go to" place here now.11/25/2020 Update I've used D&D for four years now. They have done a variety of work for me, brake jobs, radiator and water pump repair, and other more minor fixes. They've also recommended other vendors that saved me lots of money. Great shop.

You won't find a nicer group of guys or a more honest shop. I've used them for large and small jobs on our family's vehicles and am always completely satisfied with the price and outstanding work. My car was displaying a strange warning signal and I was feeling desperate. Don & Dave gave me an appointment on the same day, diagnosed a minor problem and fixed it on the spot. I very much appreciate their professionalism and honesty.

We came into town after a 14-hour car ride from Ohio; there was a horrible grinding sound coming from the rear-end. We dropped it off at Don & Dave's Auto on Monday and by Tuesday morning, they were able to diagnose it and have it fixed by Wednesday. We were completely at their mercy and the price we paid was probably less then what we would have paid back home. We may have to start making the trip to Don & Dave's Auto for all of our car repairs and upkeep!Service: Brakes

Can t say enough good things about these guys, I came in twice, one time for a battery test, the other time for an alternator test.. each time they were happy to help me out free of charge and are genuinely nice and kind people.. would 100% recommend them for any auto repair or maintenance.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Called them this AM with slow leak in tire. Eric very nice and said to come after 2:00. Got there at 2:05. So nice. Found leak from nail. Patched and on my way by about 2:30. Didn t even have time to read newspaper they had available. Just moved to Cape and found them on line. All I can say is WOW-what a find!Service: TiresService: Tires

My sister went her and recommended to me . I just made an appointment for a noise I'm having. First thing I liked was they didn't stand around staring at me wondering who was going to help me The gentleman came right over. Asked me the problem and right off I felt confident about this shop. They have an excellent rating on many sites so I hope it will be my go to place

Visiting the Cape from Cleveland, 2 tires losing air. One was plugged other side wall with nail. I was treated honest and fair. Definitely recommend. Support local

These guys are awesome, always 100% honest and will always try and save you money and get the best work done possible, even if it is referring you elsewhere. Awesome job. Ive even seen local police cruisers getting work done at this shop, which means you know they're reliable. Awesome awesome people

Nicest and most helpful mechanics I ve ever met. Gave me quick diagnostics on my Honda Accord and told me exactly what was needed. They were too booked to do the repairs but still willing to help me as much as they could.

My check engine light came on shortly before I had to drive home from vacation. Called Don & Dave's: they were able to get me in quickly, ran a quick scan and got me on my way. Quick, convenient, pleasant and polite. Highly recommended!

I m so happy to have found these guys. They got me in on short notice, were very courteous and efficient, went above and beyond to complete the job and were quick! I was shocked at the bill. A+ experience. Will recommend and definitely be back.
