I was in a bad car accident and just happened upon Maaco when looking for repairs. Ralph and his daughter, (and their sweet dog!) took excellent care of my car and my peace of mind. I recently returned for a different car issue that their shop couldn t address. Ralph took the time to recommend and even introduce me to a nearby mechanic who was incredible! They go above and beyond for their customers and made a very stressful time as smooth as possible. I highly recommend!

I brought my 2012 Subaru Impreza to Dedham Maaco for a literal fender bender, upon arrival Krissy appraised my car she located all my parts & ordered them promptly. Once Maaco received all the parts Krissy had me come in and my car was all patched up in no time. The part prices were spot on, service was exceptional and Krissy is the best!!! If I ever experience another fender bender I know where I ll be taking my car

I got exactly what I wanted for my 2007 Prius. It has 102,000+ miles and still runs well, but the hood was badly pitted and getting worse. I wasn't sure how much money I wanted to spend or if it was worth spending any money at all. Another shop might have tried to upsell me to paint the whole car, but Krissy asked a few questions and suggested fixing just the hood because the rest of the body is fine. They also did a couple other minor jobs. I feel like I spent an appropriate amount of money fixing what needed to be fixed and nothing more. I can't think of a better recommendation for any company that works on cars. I wish I could say the same for all the mechanics I've gone to. (Also, my car looks great!)

The family run business is first class! I am so glad that I listed to friends who told me to go directly to Dedham for my auto body needs. They managed my expectations perfectly and mapped out every step of the process. They were fair, straight forward, honest and their attention to detail was spot on. Highly recommended.

Krissy and her team were super. I did my research on paint shops and purposely went to these guys on the strength of their reviews. I have an old jeep that was previously DIY rhino-lined by previous owner. I spent a few weeks removing so that I could have it repainted in its original color. There was dents, gouges, scratches and I was almost thinking the only way was to rhino-line again. These guys did an amazing job. I took off all the external parts like fenders, bumpers so these guys could concentrate on the body and paint work. The jeep looks amazing and I am very very happy. I highly recommend them. Tip: these guys are busy, so make an appointment before you go and it will be so much easier. Some before and after pics.

The only reason I drove 14 miles for their shop were the reviews, and I'm glad I did. Here is why...Walked in, Krissy greeted me at the front desk and immediately took me outside to look at my car. I didn't even have to wait 30 seconds.She took one look at my car and flat out told me she wasn't going to paint it. She said that she could, but it wouldn't do the car justice, there would be obvious differences where the paint job began and ended, essentially making it look worse. She said doing it right would require disassembling the car piece by piece so they could get into the crevices for a real, professional paint job, and that would be expensive.I knew then the reviews I'd read before going there were all legit. Her honesty was refreshing. I knew I could trust them when she told me she wasn't going to do it. Other shops would take the job in a heartbeat, only caring about making a quick buck, not really caring about how it turned out. Not here!Instead, Krissy said they could make the car look better. It wouldn't be perfect, but better than it looked now. They could fix the botched up areas I'd created when I did some DIY stuff on the paint.She quoted me a very reasonable price and promised to have it ready a few days later on Saturday. I called Friday to confirm. She said I could actually come pick it up that day. They were ahead of schedule.When I got there to pick it up, what I saw was a car which looked brand new. Beautiful shine, like it was straight off the lot. All of the scratch marks were gone, and the car looked SLICK. See accompanying picture.They even took care to clean the wheels and vacuum the interior, services I didn't ask for or expect. Very considerate.Krissy told me that if any of the imperfections re-emerged to just bring it back and they would work on it at no extra charge. That's what I call a wow... real service right there.I'll most definitely be back for more services on my car. This is how business is done!Also, they have candy. If you are a good boy like me, you'll get some at the front desk.

Could not be happier with my 2013 Honda Civic's new paint job. Krissy and the rest of the team were a pleasure to do business with and my car looks 10 years younger. The headlights, window moldings, and paint all look fresh. Looking forward to many more years with this car thanks to you!!

Their attention to detail is unmatched by anyone in the car maintenance business that I have dealt with. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Krissy and her team are very professional and did great work. I brought in a used car purchased for our oldest son (We got a good deal on it because it had accident damage) and she was able to source used parts along with new parts and made it all look great at a good price. Krissy and her team were fantastic. I have a old Toyota that is in great running condition but needed a new paint job. She quoted a paint service that would last me at least another 5 years. Great job, solid communication, and the car looks amazing considering its age! They even cleaned the whole car before I picked it up. MAACO in Dedham Ma. Did a superb job painting , clear coating my mother s entire car. It looks like new. And they cleaned up the headlights/ taillights and cleaned the inside. So worth the reasonable cost. Krissy and her family run an outstanding, professional business and the Allen family from Norwood highly recommend them. Thanks so much MAACO. We had to repair our car for some damage to the body caused by an youngster. I took it to Maaco Auto Body Shop in Dedham. Ralph provide excellent service from start to finish. The bumper to my 2012 Cadillac was recently damaged and needed to be replaced. To save some money, I purchased an aftermarket bumper and brought it to Maaco to be painted. I was expecting them to say they don't paint stand alone parts. To the contrary, I was greeted exceptionally well by Krissy and she was incredibly accommodating. Within minutes she gave me a price, explained the process and competed the paper work to get me on my way.After a few days, the bumper was ready to be picked up and the finished product was fantastic. They were able to match the paint perfectly and overall I could not have been happier. The price was fair, the workmanship was great and the overall experience was excellent.I would go back to Maaco in a heartbeat.

I could not have been happier with the way my car turned out. The pricing was great, the service was extremely professional, and the results were amazing. Dropped a car off on Monday for a total paint job and I Picked the car up 2 days later and my 2006 Honda looked Brand new. I will definitely handle all collision repairs or future paint jobs at this location. Ralph (the owner) was outstanding. Nothing but smiles!

I chose this Maaco, even though it was a 40 minute drive each way, because of the fantastic reviews. Everything about this family-owned Maaco branch is phenomenal, just as other reviewers have said. I have a 20 year old Toyota Camry that only has 113k miles and I plan to keep it forever. It's in perfect mechanical shape, but above the rear wheel well it looked like the cookie monster took a big chomp out of it due to rust, I wasn't paying attention and backed into two pillars that deeply scraped up both sides of my car from the back doors all the way to the back bumper, and I needed a new bumper. Krissy Pope (the owner's daughter) is very professional, fast, quick, thorough, HONEST, and explained all of my options without pushing me to higher priced choices when I didn't need it. While they had the car Krissy called me to tell me that there was a rust hole in the hood when they sanded it down, but it would be better to get a new hood than patch it. And they would do it with no additional labor costs. WOWZA! My car came out amazing! It now looks the best it could ever look. You can only tell it is an older car because of the styling of the car and shape. Otherwise, it looks new. I will be back when/if needed with other cars for my family and I am telling everyone about this particular Maaco. Well worth the trip!!!!! P.S. They even have preferred pricing at the Enterprise Rent a Car a block over.

Krissy and the staff here are tremendous! They went above and beyond and did outstanding work, all for under $500. My 2015 Camry had a ton of bumper scrapes/scratches as well as some denting and scrapes on the sides from city parking garages. During my quote, I never felt as though I was being convinced to spend a lot of money. If anything, Krissy reassured me that I didn't need to spend the $1000+ I was afraid of needing to spend to be happy with my car. Being able to trust that anyone related to the fixing of my car has consideration for my budget and a willingness to explain things I may not already know or understand is so important to me - and hard to find at times. She was also very accommodating in letting me leave my car several days longer than the quoted repair rime as I was going on a trip. I didn't feel pressured whatsoever to get it out of their lot.While I'm sure a job under $500 is a relatively low profit job for them, I was absolutely blown away when I saw the finished product. I felt like they made my car was the most important car in the shop, and it looked as though they'd spent all week working to make it shinier, cleaner, and about as flawless as I could ever imagine or want it to be. I could not be happier with how it turned out. Krissy gave me the bottle of touch up paint she had ordered through Toyota (the exact right paint for my red car, straight from the dealer) and showed me how to apply it in case I needed it for future scratches. While I certainly can't picture myself needing bodywork any time soon as I look at my pretty car, when the day comes that I do, I will DEFINITELY come back here!

I have a silver Lexus and I had a new front bumper and lip spoiler painted and installed. Also they grinded down and repainted an area on a side panel. Krissy is a real expert. She knew exactly what parts they needed to order for the job and how to find after market quality parts. The price was excellent. The work was done on time. I also had them buff out marks on the hood and had a wax finish and wash. The car looks brand new. It was finished two months ago and the color was a match and is holding up great! Worth the drive, I live in Cambridge.

Extremely satisfied with my experience at Maaco in Hyde Park. Krissy was a pleasure to work with! Very invested in making sure I felt great about the work being done on my car. You can tell she cares and goes above an beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Great quality and turn around time as well.

Thanks to the team at Dedham Maaco, they did a beautiful job on painting my car, they refurbished my headlights, which are fabulous now, get it done people, so worth it. I forgot that I had a rusted out spot near the gas tank, you would never know, that's how good this team is. I didn't notice till I got home just how clean the interior was, I thought they just vacuumed inside, no they did an awesome detailing job.Thanks again.Diana Folan

I had Maaco in a few different places paint my cars and always got very bad experiences. I decided to give this Maaco in Dedham a chance because of positive reviews here. I was not disappointed. The owner (Ralph, I think) is a nice guy, and has been very helpful to do the paint work I need within my budget. He promised me to finish the work in one week, and he did exactly that. The paint job was very well done. For the price I paid, I have no complaints at all. Great experience! Highly recommended!

We recently dropped off my beloved VW bug convertible. She was badly, very badly rusted.She had her rockers repaired. I couldn't believe it when I saw our car - she looked brand new - and she's 15 years old. The Maaco team showed us photographs of the work being done, kept a box of the rotted out parts for us to examine, buffed & polished her.The energy in the shop is great - Krissy is so incredibly knowledgeable & a wonderful person to deal with. Everyone we talked to in the shop was extremely knowledgeable & caring. The work they do is fantastic. Do not hesitate coming here - we drove 45 minutes, passing other body shops because this place came so highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Maaco on River Street should be the industry standard. Thank you all

My passenger door was hit by a scooter , my insurance did not cover the damages. Krissy from Maaco was able to give me a reasonable price and tell me the smart way about fixing my car. I dropped my on Monday and it was ready on Friday. My door look brand new now with no scratches. I would highly recommend to check these guys out.

I have taken several cars over the years to Maaco in Dedham. I have been continually impressed with Krissy and Ralph, and the degree to which they really care about me. I have brought my cars in after collisions and have felt quite vulnerable and worried about how much it will cost, as I have a basic insurance policy. Rather than feel that I will be taken advantage of, Krissy has always done the opposite and made me feel like I have someone watching out for me. She has always figured out with me how to do the work that I can afford and tailor the experience to my needs. And when she says what she thinks they can do, the work has always been better than what she prepared me for. And the cost has always been no more than the initial estimate and usually slightly less!! I'm not sure where you can find that anymore today. I should also add that the finished product has always been exceptional, which I credit to the great people doing the body work there. They are a true gem!

Ralph and Krissie went beyond the call of duty to repair the damage to my van by a very careless driver , who hit me! Their professionalism and knowledge is outstanding, as they take care of every detail, including the perfect rental to get me back on the road! My van has never looked so great, like the day I bought it years ago!I have used their services for decades, and always will! I wanted a paint job on my recently purchased 1996 Pontiac Firebird. i did not want to spend a lot because i didn't pay much for the car and i don't plan on showing the car, i just like to drive it in nice weather. (its a convertible). I considered Maaco because of their prices, but at the same time a lot of the Maacos had mixed reviews. I kept kept looking and found Maaco in Dedham. They had great reviews so i decided to call them. I set up my appointment for my free estimate. I met a man named Ralph who was very nice and knowledgeable about the car painting business . I told him what I wanted done and he wrote up an estimate . When he gave it to me i told him the estimate was more than I paid for the car. So we started over and i told him that I had a set figure to just paint the car and Ralph re wrote the estimate so that it could work for me. Ralph explained to me what to expect and what would look nice and what may not look so nice, after all we are dealing with a 25 year old car with some heavy scratches. I agreed to the estimate and I told Ralph when I could drop off the car. I dropped off the car on a Monday and Ralph told me it would be done by Thursday. I got a call from Ralph on Weds and he told me I could pick up the on Thursday as promised. I was so happy to see the car on Thursday it looked really awesome, The paint job came out great, the color matched perfectly (GM purple), could not find many flaws, I am not a paint expert and I'm sure one could go analyze the car better than me, but for the price I paid I was happy with what I saw. Hopefully the paint job will last a few years. So to Ralph and his staff and to the head painter Angel who painted my car I give you all my recommendation (5 stars). They were friendly , knowledgeable, honest , negotiable, work was done on time, and I am happy with the results, thanks Brandon the mailman!Service: Painting

We brought our daughters Honda Civic here for a repainting (it had the classic Honda clear-coat failure that was stripping the paint off the roof and other areas). Ralph did a thorough review of the car, pointed out a number of things we hadn't seen, and gave us his recommendation, being quite clear to set our expectations on what would and would not be done for his quote. Based on reviews we had read about this particular Maaco shop, we decided to go with them. We picked it up today - it was ready when promised - and we were extremely pleased. It looks great - better than our expectations. In addition, they "cleared" the headlights for us - which had become yellowed and cloudy (because, as Krissy told us when we picked it up, she thought the car looked bad with the new paint and bad headlights...) A nice, but also very important touch. Makes the car look new. I'm compelled to write this review because it was positive reviews that got me to this shop. Maaco shops in general were receiving mixed reviews, but this particular one in Dedham had much better reviews ... and they were right.
