Not a place to get the window tint done.I recently brought my new (to me) BMW M2 Competition to Craft Detailing to get the front PPF'd and whole car ceramic coated. If it was just those two things, it would've been a 4 of 5 star review from me. The quality of the PPF job was close to perfect. Time will tell how well the ceramic coating holds up, but so far so good.Unfortunately, I made a mistake by agreeing to get a ceramic window tint from them as well. They charged $550 for a subpar tint job. There are tears in the film on the back window in addition to bubbles and dust particles trapped throughout. It was not the quality I expected at that price point.When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the tint job, I was told they'll redo to fix any mistakes when I come back for the first wash in 10 days after the ceramic coat has fully cured. When I came back, I was told that removing the tint from the back window after it fully dried was going to be risky and that the best they could do is attempt to fix small mistakes here and there, plus redo the passenger side window. When I asked if I could get a refund instead, I was offered store credit for a partial amount, which I had no use for, so I reluctantly agreed to a limited redo.Same installer completed the redo leaving the tears on the back window untouched. He did reinstall the passenger side window, but left a much wider edge versus the driver's side, in addition to bubbles and dust still being present.After bringing the car home, I also noticed dried-up drip marks on every interior panel beneath the windows, meaning the interior wasn't covered up while squeegeeing out the solution during the tint install. The alcantara insert was soaking wet and there was water in the switchgear on the passenger door.Needless to say, after that I had no motivation to go back for another redo by the same installer who is probably doing his best, but clearly lacks the skills.I debated whether to write this review or not, but ultimately decided it was important to caution those who might be considering getting window tint from Craft Detailing. If you just need PPF and/or ceramic coating, go for it. However, consider getting the tint done elsewhere.The bottom line for me is I thought I could save time by getting everything done at one place, but now I'm out $550 and will be paying a 2nd time to get it completely redone by another installer who specializes in window tint specifically and whom I've used before for much better results.One additional note regarding the film itself that has nothing to do with the shop, but is good to know. Craft Detailing use Suntek, which is widely considered to be a top quality option. However, it does have a distinct blue hue and is slightly hazy, especially at night. If you don't like either of those things, consider getting Llumar instead, which has perfectly neutral colors and zero haze in my experience.

I m new to the area and needed to get some work done on my car. I was originally informed the work would take a few days but I was incredibly excited to hear I would be receiving my car by end of day!When I arrived I wasn t sure what to expect. Kevin and his team truly hit a home run. The work performed on my car surpassed my expectations dramatically. I was expecting a minor improvement, by no means did I expect to receive what looks like a brand new car. This thing is looking better than when I drove it off the lot.I m originally from California, being new to the area and finding a reputable place that s honest and trustworthy is hit or miss. I m truly pleased to have finally found an honest and trustworthy place to entrust my car.I highly recommend this location to anyone serious about getting quality service. I found this location through Googling for local detailing shops. This shop had some great reviews and the comments were consistent. So I gave the shop a call and explained them my car issue. I started getting water spots on my paint job, windows, and wheels about 3 months ago. I don t park near a sprinkler so my only guess was acid rain came along and then the hot days after that locked them in. I tried some DYI ideas that some friends of mine suggested as well as a car was location suggesting using CLR but alas the spots kept returning. The woman on the phone suggested I come in and the do a test spot on the car to see if their least aggressive product would do the trick. I came in and at last something finally worked!! Less than 2 hours later and $200 for the exterior detailing my car was saved! These people were so personable and friendly and life savers to say the least. I will be recommending this place to everyone, friends and family, and I most certainly will be back!! Simply the best of the best! I brought my new car to Craft Detailing to have a Paint Correction Service performed on it because the dealership had so poorly buffed the paint that swirl marks and holograms were visible at every angle. You didn't even have to try to notice them! However, Craft Detailing did a fantastic job - the car looks beyond excellent and it is so glossy now. They were over the top friendly and flexible - I would highly recommend you go here for any detailing needs.Service: Auto detailing

I did apply ceramic coating to my car with Craft detailing about a year ago, and I can t thank them enough for how incredible the car looks!Because I live about an hour away from them, they gave me instructions on how to properly care for my vehicle paint, but I take it back every now and then to get a deeper clean that I m usually unable to do myself.The staff is always very friendly, and the service provided is very professional. My car is in Showroom quality even after one year. Photos below to prove!

I had full XPEL PPF/Opticoat ceramic, paintless dent repair and screen protectors done by Craft on my Lucid Air Grand Touring and they did a fantastic job! This is a challenging car to PPF, I know as I d had another shop do the front prior to an accident I had, and there were multiple stretch marks and seams visible, which I had them redo and they still couldn t get it right. Meanwhile the new job by Craft is invisible and the car looks better than when it was new! And they were fast, they only took 5 days for the full job including fixing 2 door dings and a two step paint correct. I can t imagine going to another shop for any paint/wrap/detailing needs now, and I live an hour away with several other closer shops near me.

Got ppf done here and the experience was great beginning to end. Lia is great to work with and goes over things clearly. The price is great for the high quality you get and warranty behind their install. After a couple of months, I notice some very small bubbles and when I brought it up Lia, she was very professional about it and had me bring it in to get it fixed. Instead of taking shortcuts, she ended up getting the staff to replace the entire hood and rocker to ensure that it will be perfect and that I m happy with the result. I couldn t be any happier. They stand behind their work. Great prices, amazing staff, and awesome warranty!Service: Paint protection

The team at Craft Detailing is by far the best in the business. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, professional, and fully answered all my questions. Lia performed my consultation on a Friday, and I was able to book an appointment in their Woburn MA location within a week. Shawn from Craft performed an Opticoat Pro + coating, removed and replaced the PPF on the front bumper of my GT3 and an interior detail. The quality of the PPF installation was one of if not the best I have seen.I have used a few local detailers of the years. Got my Porsche paint corrected + ceramic coated and had them coat a set of wheels for me a year later, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Craft Detailing is the only place I would bring my cars for detailing or car wash in the Boston area. I think they are the only shop carry Opti Coat in the Boston area as well, all other shops seem to carry ceramic coating. Opti Coat Pro Plus coating is really a different product compares to Ceramic coat...both my cars have it. They also provide other services like car wraps and XPEL... And oh, you have to give their car wash a try... easy to book appointment, quick and efficient, remember, this is not a typical machine car wash, this is a hand wash, in and out about an hour because I have a full size SUV, but it is worth the time and every penny... they also have two locations in both Dedham and Woburn... very convenient. Gotta get all the snow/dust/salt off your car in winter like this you know... give them a call.Service: Auto detailing

Craft Detailing is my goto spot for all things detailing and paint protection. They always do a great job, keep me updated on multi-day processes and provide clear instructions to maintain as a DIY person. Even if I just bought a new car it goes to Craft for a decon and paint protection (which I did on my Bronco).Give them a call and see for yourself why the Craft Detailing family rocks!

Great job! Had Xpel film & Opti Coat Pro + applied. Drove down from Northern NH. Have done some detailing (weekend warrior) of my own and knew from their website and discussions - they were the ones to do it! And with Opti Coat - applying correctly is everything.6 brand newTeslas and a half million $ Ferrari In the shop with my GTI SE and positive I received the same care and attentionWorked with Kevin-Lia-Carlos & John and they were professional and genuine. I have extremely high standards when it comes to my cars. I have never been disappointed at the attention to detail and the quality of work.Extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. If you love your cars as much as I do, then this is your place.

Change my mind but completely money hungry. Told me I had to replace my whole fender before paint protection. Ordered the fender and had it painted. When I went to get the fender installed, the certified auto body shop told me that was a terrible suggestion and a complete waste of my money. I now have a fender I am going to have to figure out how to sell because the dent was so minor it was completely fixable before paint protection. $1000 down the drain. I see tons of beautiful cars at craft, had followed them on Instagram for about a year or two now, and own multiple cars that I was looking forward to getting detailed/paint protection with craft and trusted that they would guide me the right way with mine. I was not done right as a customer by craft detailing. I also had to reach out multiple times just to receive a quote and still never heard back even though I went in person. The verbal estimate I was given since this is all I have to go off without a formal quote, was almost twice as expensive as what the certified dealer charged me. So disappointing. I don t think it was malicious, but this is the effect of giving advice on auto body work when you shouldn t be. They were nice and seemed to do good work, I am just overall astonished at the I ll advice and high prices for their service.

I have seen the work Craft detailing has done on vehicles over the years ranging from every day common vehicles to super cars and collectibles. Finally it was my turn. I had them apply Paint Protection Film to my new Tesla. I was amazed to find the car polished to a glass finish all around and the PPF installation is seemingly flawless. They were very easy to communicate with and schedule with. Very fast turnaround as well. I am 100% satisfied and would trust them with any vehicle.Services: Auto detailing, Paint protection

I have had multiple vehicles taken care of by Craft from a simple wash/polish on a 20yr old vehicle to a paint correction/PPF/window tint on a brand new vehicle and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. The team at Craft goes above and beyond and makes you feel like your car is their own. They are extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling and also have two locations for those located on the South or North Shore. Their friendly staff are also extremely detailed when it comes to follow-up appointments or what you should do with your vehicle when you take it home. This is the best experience I have had working with a shop in MA. Leah was thorough and not pushy to understand/meet my needs. She consulted me throughout the whole process and was honest about what my vehicle did and did not need. I ve been a fan of Craft Detailing for years. Kevin and his team do AMAZING work, and they are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help / answer questions when their customers need them to. No, their prices aren t the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for: quality tools, materials, and craftsmanship. I have seen 918 s in their shop getting work done, so safe to say, regardless of what you re driving, it is in good hands here.
