As women, we cringe when are car forces us to bring it to a mechanic. We all have this fear that a new mechanic will take advantage of us, especially with a BMW. Trust me I ve had my fair share of this. But Bavarian was different. Ada was knowledgeable, Fast, and more importantly patient with me. He showed me the exact issue, and explained what it would take to resolve the issue. Overall, Bavarian has exceeded my expectations by far!

So I bought my 2012 x5 on for a much needed diagnosis/ consultation after spending months researching & waiting for callbacks from other businesses. In 2 days, this place did more than for my car than I could imagine! They are thorough & intentional. Audwin definitely knows his BMWs. I also love that this place is literally down the street from my home. I can t stop smiling

If you are looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, go to Bavarian Motor Craft. Audwin is professional, had excellent communication while my car was in his shop, and I was pleased with his service. If you are looking for a BMW specialist, don't look further. He is the one.

I am so grateful to have discovered Bavarian Motor Craft in Dedham. When I bought my 2017 BMW sportwagon in March 2023, I wanted to find a garage with an expert mechanic who would talk to me and not talk down to me because I'm a woman. I know a bit about cars and can hold my own in a conversation, and generally don't need any "mansplaining." I loved talking to Audwin about my car. He's brilliant and down-to-earth, and I could tell he clearly enjoyed taking the time to discuss the problem and options. He kept me in the loop throughout the process, and when a dealer wouldn't sell him the small part that was needed, he was resourceful in finding an economical solution, saving me money, compared to what I was quoted elsewhere. I'm extremely pleased with my whole experience and outcome at Bavarian Motor Craft. Thanks again, Audwin!

I have been in and out of BMW dealerships and Independent shops over the years. You all know the drill :) Sometime back, I was referred to Audwin. I have not looked back since my first visit with him. He has taken care of all the bells and whistles with my X5 at very affordable and fair prices. Moreover, though, Audwin is one of the best BMW technicians I have come across. His work is meticulous, detailed oriented and thorough. Oil leak repairs, brakes,oil change, break fluid flush and belt replacement.This repair shop is one of a few, Audwin is an expert mechanic who not only does the actual work but also advises customers of complimentary parts that need to go with repairs to avoid repairing parts multiple times.All being cost effective! Bavaria has done work on both my cars -BMW & Mercedes cars for years.Service: Brakes

Audwin is incredible and simply the best BMW technician I know. He cares about his customers a lot and loves what he's doing, and most importantly, he knows how to do it! I completely trust his judgements and skills after he did awesome job on my lovely e38 1999 m62 replacing timing chain guides (re-assembling half of the engine!) so now it runs smoother and quieter than before!He also did "simple" jobs on x5'15 like replacing brakes and control arms more thorough than dealership, was able to find and fix suspension issues missed earlier by others. Cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Audwin is professional, knows his stuff, detail oriented and responsive. Revived my 2002 X5 with over 250k to like new, he understood that the car was important to us and took superb care of it. Goes above and beyond to make sure your Bimmer is fixed right. I was first referred to Audwin/Bavarian Motors by a friend because I was having a very hard time finding a local mechanic with the proper knowledge and experience to deal with the issue I was experiencing with my BMW. On one occasion in 2019 Audwin replaced my engine. During a different visit in 2021 he replaced my transmission. As recently as December 2022 Audwin replaced my Alternator. Aside from the major repair work completed by Bavarian Motors I have had my brakes and oil changes done there as well. Anything and everything having to do with BMW is second nature to this guy it s crazy. The work done on my car were not only extremely well done but they were very reasonably priced. You can be assured that if you have any issues with your BMW Bavarian Motors Craft will quickly and accurately diagnose the problem and provide the skills and pricing that you will not find anywhere else. This Shop is honestly second to none when it come to fixing BMWs.Services: Engine repair, Transmission replacement

So with the recommendation of my cousin, a German design car enthusiast, I googled BMW and Mini mechanics near me as my 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S All4 had a check engine light on which brought the car to the low power mode. A friend put his code reader on the car but no codes were detected. Which brought to this shop and met Audwin. Being a specialist with BMW and Mini, he explained his BMW device would certainly be able to diagnose the problem. Fearing the worst case scenario, I was quickly relieved to find out it wasn't a major problem. He ordered the part and quickly resolved the issue and the car runs great! I found Audwin to be very polite, professional and trustworthy. I can't remember any other repairs I've had when the labor charges were actually less than the parts. I recently acquired a 2001 BMW that needed special attention, and no other mechanics were giving me clear answers (in fact, none of them identified what was really wrong with the car). Audwin provides a personal, honest approach by taking pictures of everything he finds and providing prices for each part he is going to use. He found the issue with my car in a matter of hours. And he even broke up the repair into four different emails, so I could see the best way to pay for each. He's incredibly easy to contact and is in constant communication.This guy is a rarity and an awesome find. If you drive a German car and need very good, honest work, you need to give him a call. Making the trip from Boston is a no-brainer.

Everything was transparent. Audwin takes pictures of what's wrong and sends you exactly what parts he's ordering and the cost. There is no guess work. Incredibly easy to work with and very responsive.
