I first went into Mike's shop a couple of years ago when another shop couldn't take my Jeep in because they were backed up. They recommended Mike's shop. I went in and had my brakes done (with parts I provided). He did a great job, quickly and cheaper than what was quoted at the previous shop. roll in 4 more years and I needed to get my brakes done again and went to the original shop. they did an "OK" job putting in the new Rotors, Pads, Extended Lines, and new Calipers but put the extended brake lines in clocked incorrectly where any trail obstacle would likely contact them. I was getting ready to put in a lift kit, so left them as is till the lift kit was purchased and ready to go in. This time I went back to Mike's. I brought in about $3k of my own parts and had him install everything. He noticed the improper routing of the lines right off and said he'd take care of that.He worked for several days on the lift and all the other parts In the end, Mike put it in for just over $1100, (which included getting a 4-wheel alignment from another shop), which would have cost me twice that at another shop that I checked out. The work was all top-notch and In a couple of months when I need to redo my Cooling and heating system I'll be heading to Mike first and will be first on my list from now on...Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair

Service is really good, knowledgeable employees take care and complete repairs in a timely fashion. We've done everything from simple repairs, tires to full services and complex repairs for our cars. Extremely trustworthy and great work, I highly recommend.

Clinton Tire Auto (and the related business Mike Z Customs) are truly the epitome of what you want when it comes to auto repair and mechanics. Mike and CJ are truly the BEST! They are remarkably knowledgeable, extremely trustworthy, and do some of the best work I've ever had done on my vehicles. My wife and I use them for auto maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.) and I've also used Mike for both custom exhaust work as well as installing running boards on my SUV. Their prices simply cannot beat, especially when you consider their elite work and how much you can trust them. I called them today to inquire about a service interval that Lexus recommends and CJ told me they can certainly do it, but it's really not necessary at my current mileage and can wait another 10-20k miles and explained dealers are a little quick to recommend things that aren't really needed. I don't trust my vehicles to most people, but I'm so happy I found CTA/MikeZ - they are literally the ONLY place I'll bring our vehicles. I've been going to these guys for all car related work since around 2017. While this started purely out of convenience (proximity to home), I have continued going here even after moving to another town and because I have never been disappointed in the quality of the work, the prices, or the friendliness and transparency of the staff in all my time coming here. Clinton is a town saturated with auto mechanics, which is honestly pretty nice for car owners, but these guys stand out from the rest in my mind in terms of the service and vibe of the staff. If you want fast, reasonably priced service from mechanics who are professional but also laid back and easily to get along with, then this is your place! I would recommend (and have) to any of my friends within reasonable driving distance to give Clinton Tire Auto & Truck Repair a try.Service: Auto maintenance

I dropped off a vehicle with exhaust system issues and had it back in my possession in a little over 24 hours. The staff were communicative and professional throughout the process. I pulled in on a Friday afternoon as my camper had a wheel going down. They were very helpful and accommodating, got my odd tire replaced asap and had me back on the road. Really nice people through out so I cant give credit to just one.Would I use them again,? Heck yes! If they will treat a traveler on the road like this would like this, how wonderful would it be to have them as a local tire shop.Service: Tires

*Updating my review 12/11/2020 to say again how much of a delight this place is. Will always give them my business.Can't say enough good things about this place. I had one good wheel and one good tire (and one bad wheel and one bad tire), and needed the good tire put into the good wheel. Good tire also had a nail in the tread which needed to be removed and patched. Altogether it was only $40 and they had it done the very next morning. I was helped by a gentleman named CJ who was easily the nicest guy in the world. Absolutely recommend coming here for all of your tire needs.

I love my truck. But my interest in repairing it myself is low and my time is limited. When finding a trustworthy mechanic became a priority once I finally decided to step away from the over-priced dealer, Clinton TATR was the first shop I tried. And I should have done it sooner! I would have saved so much money. The staff is friendly and the place has an old-school, homey charm. They do an excellent job of identifying and explaining any issues and repairing at a fair price. Kudos!

Unbelievable service and fair pricing. My truck was making so much noise I couldn't hear myself think. 1/2 hour later, with some superior expertise from the mechanics at CT&R it is as quiet as a mouse. They also found a steering linkage about to break and I have scheduled that for this Friday. Good, fair and honest, what more could you want from an auto repair shop? Go see them the next time you need something done on your car. You won't be disappointed.I recently went back to CT&R for tires for my 2003 Saab 9-3. These tires are amazing, and the price knocked my socks off. Go there for all your auto repairs. Just do it, you won't be disappointed.

I work local in Clinton and the owner Scott came in on a usual visit, I told him about my tire that had a bubble in it. Scott took a look at my tire and told me straight away that it needed to be replaced. I brought my car down to Clinton tire and right when i got there Spencer took my keys and assured me i was in good hands. They are very knowledgeable and were very timely about getting my car done fast and efficient. Every single person on there staff has a great can do attitude and are always willing to help. I highly recommend Clinton Tire for the great service and low prices!

I brought two cars into this shop about two months ago. Both cars had severe break problems as well as both needing the batteries replaced. The cars were fixed properly and promptly. I have had no problems since they were fixed and I will be bringing my car back here when it needs service. I also recemended them to my brother who was also satisfied with the work done. Great job

I got the rear wheel valves and TPMS replaced here due to slow leak. Well explained beforehand, perfect job and fair price. I was lucky I could get a response on Facebook while they had internet and phone trouble. I'll definitely come back.

I have trusted Clinton Tire for several year. Traveling long distances to rural areas with limited auto service available, the friendly, highly qualified staff always makes sure my car is in perfect running condition. Their 40 point check during oil changes is a great way to plan for possible up coming issues.

Had an appointment to fix the broken lug nut and mount my snow tires on one vehicle and repair two tires on another as well rotate the tires. I Dropped the car the night before to be started right away and the truck was dropped off after the car was fixed. Cj was the front man and contact through all of this. He was very professional and explained everything. I was originally quoted higher amount then I was charged. Very pleased with the service. Will be using them again.

Mike and CJ have both been excellent to deal with everytime I need to bring my truck in for something. They are very personable and responsive. They do quality work. And their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Clinton Tire and Repair is the best by far. I have moved to Boston but I always come back home to sort out any of my car troubles. They are always so polite and considerate and really take the extra time to explain everything to me. I don t even have to ask. When the bill comes, I am always shocked but in a good way! It s typically always $50-$100 under what I think I m going to be charged, but keep in mind I know nothing about cars and used to get ripped off by shops all the time because of my demographic. I cannot praise them enough.

Excellent customer service! They talk to you like a human being, not a number. Mike explains all options on the repair so you can make an educated decision on your vehicle . So glad I found them.
