Must do if you have a few hours. There is a beach you can arrive to after a hike. So peaceful and beautiful.Dog-friendliness: Can have your doggie with you on the trails

Great hiking spot for a breezy, overcast day (no bugs!). The path is pretty overgrown near the sea, so be prepared to step around lots of ankle-height plants. The beach was nice and quiet when we got down there though, and the trails higher up were wide and open for easily passing other hikers. We almost passed the parking though - don t let Google take you up the back way, or hand written signs will yell at you that no hills access is available look carefully for the Trustees sign off the main road if you come from the north! It was tough to find a parking spot mid-week, but we found one just as someone was leaving. There was also a clean port-a-potty available in the parking lot.

Omg, it's one of my top 10 sunset spots! I suggest making an entire day of it. Fish markets nearby. Order lobster early for sunset dining on the beach. It's a dry town, so bring your spirits. Parking is difficult starting at 2 pm.The beach is very rocky, swim shores are very important. Check the weather for sunset timing because if you blink you may miss out!

Fantastic views from the overlooks and the brickyard is a cool site, but the bugs were just horrible during our hike -- even though all of us thoroughly reeked of deet.

Clear blue skies, some snow on the trail, a bit of mud. A wonderful day for a hike to the overlook at Peaked Hill. The crisp wind at the top makes you know you're alive. I love walking at Menemsha Hills. Under a beautiful canape of trees, you walk on the well worn path. Take the path to Peaked Hill. You won't be sorry

I really like this preserve. Great diversity and excellent photographic content. I like to walk the outer trail clockwise for best views of coastline and sound. If you can, steep in some short sections, go down on to the beach, there are some beautiful rocks with pounding surf to take in

One of the best hikes on the island. Also if you do all trails it can be quite a nice workout. Wonderful views and a great part of the trail is on a beach. Lots of stairs and rocks and fun.

Definitely a hidden gem! The Prospect Hill lookout is awesome but continue on the lookout platform right before the beach for a "take your breath away" view!

Beautiful from start to finish, many great views along the trails with the awesome view of the brickyard, sea and hills at the end. I took one loop down and the other back. Great!!

Just be warned - a "2 mile" hike to the Brickyard involves some elevation changes - the Menemsha Hills mean it. I carried 15lbs of camera gear with a tripod out here and felt it by the end. The hike is 100% worth it, though - great views when you're out there.

Fantastic hike through virgin territory on Martha's Vineyard. Prepare for a several mile hike on a choice of two major loops with lookouts over the west coast of the island. The trail ends in a path to a glorious rocky beach through thick and grape-lined vegetation. It's with the time to find this remote location but bring sunscreen, bug spray, and wear real shoes (save the flip flops to the end if you take them). The trails are well maintained though may have loose rocks and sand in places. Expect to be in the woods most of the time. Bring a dog only during approved hours and leave the alcohol and cooler at home (not permitted on the beach).

Nice walks on good trails through the forest to some nice viewpoints and the down to a rocky beach. If you can walk east on the beach you can find the historic old brickyard with a nice chimney

Come into pebble beach from the left, the view is better. Avoid pebble beach after heavy rains and during high tide, tight walking path on beach and active cliff erosion create a pretty sketchy situation.
