If I could give less than one star , I would. There is no communication between technicians and staff are unprofessional. Simple tasks scheduled for 1 hour took 3. Simple requests unfortunately can t be followed. The technician hung around and talked with co-workers instead of working. If their pay was dependent on customer satisfaction, the business model would improve. Currently, poor performance = same amount of pay. The manager of the auto care center could not have been more unpleasant or unhelpful. She went out out of her way to be rude and dismissive to polite requests.Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY from Walmart Auto Care Center. Just horrible. This sad picture of the waiting room says it all.

DO NOT BUY TIRES HERE!Placed an order on 4 GOOD YEAR tires on black Friday. Debited our money, and the email said they'll hold the tires for X number of days. We tried to schedule installations no times were available for weeks. Then, 6 hrs later, they canceled the order, no reason given. We placed a 2nd order the same day after speaking to an associate, and they said they sold our origin tires, but had better ones we could get and assured us if we ordered them these tires would fit our car. We went to get the tires Installed wrong size. Returned these tires, it's been 10 days, and still no refund. Called customer service. I was told a supervisor isn't available they'll call in 24-48 hours. I demanded to speak to someone waited 25 minutes. I was then told their superiors computer didn't have sufficient resources right now. However, in one hour, it would, and I'll receive a call.I placed a THIRD order this time via affirm payments since the tires were WAY more expensive. we set up an appointment for Jan 3rd for installation. It's Dec 29th. I got an email from Walmart that they canceled 3 of the 4 tires? I went to the tire center in person after calling for 1.5 hrs with no one answering, I spoke to a nice manager named Pamela she was unsure exactly why 3 of 4 tires were canceled but all 4 tires are there. However to get the order via affirm again we would need to place ANOTHER order for 3 tires they would return 3 of the 4 they have currently (we have a loan for 1 tire at this point) I called customer service no manager available i was given a case number and advised someone from management would call in 48 hours again... this place is a MESS!

I took my car in for what should ve been a simple oil change. I waited an hour for my car to be damaged. My car handle was broken into two pieces. No one informed me about this. I payed, signed something, went into the car and noticed only half of my handle was still in tact. The other half was sitting in my cup holder. I went inside to ask about the handle and was given disrespect and attitude. They claim the handle had already been cracked which most definitely isn t true. Apparently the technician tried to super glue it but the lady at the desk said I must ve glued it myself. She was so disgusting (cussing and very unprofessional.) Besides the fact I also payed for synthetic and they gave me the wrong oil. The whole situation was blamed on me and they didn t take any responsibility. I couldn t even have a conversation with the manager nor get an apology. Horrible business..Service: Oil change

Great experience! I had bought a battery at Westfield Walmart expecting a friend to help me install it, but they were busy. I brought it to the Auto Center in Chicopee and within minutes the counter person Carlos heard my frustrations. He was very friendly, and got my car in within minutes, and it was FREE. I really appreciate the help, and all the guys in the garage were great too. Thanks..

Called a few times during open hours to make appointment, they never answer. Then when going in person you can see why, extremely under staffed here. "Please people, check your groceries out at main registers, don't waist the staff and customers time checking food out in auto center, they are busy enough dealing with auto center...". Long wait line just to talk to someone in auto center and I only had tires to be mounted on rims without bringing car in, staff was confused at this and did not know how to deal with me or enter me in system. I blame service manager, people were nice to deal with so give them 2 stars.Service: Tires

Walmart is by far the most convenient place to go get your oil changed. You don't need an appointment. You stop in whenever you want. The staff is friendly and it's super fair prices per usual. The wait time is usually short enough that you can just browse around or do a little shopping in Walmart. By the time you finish your shopping the car is finished. You do have to make appointments for more serious car issues such as getting your tires changed. Overall, this is very convenient, fast way to get your oil changed. Thank you for your great service!

Try and call automotive. Then show up. They're NEVER busy and music is through the roof. If they get paid by the hour, poor Walmart. If they get paid by the job, they're poor

I had a rather dismal first experience going to 1105 Boston to pick up a battery that in fact was not in stock, which I found out upon arrival. I called the Walmart Auto Center at 591 Memorial Dr, Chicopee, MA 01020. The associate on the phone was incredibly pleasant and helpful, I cannot say enough about her but she reassured me they had several in stock. So I made the twenty minute drive to the other location, I was using a friend's car and didn't want to be on a wild goose chase. They did have several of my specific battery in stock. Joe was wonderful during checkout and processed my core return immediately following the initial purchase transaction of the new battery, which the credit for the core was issued. Thank you Walmart Auto Care Center associates for your kindness and assistance. Unfortunately when I got the battery home and tested it there were only 9V and I had to spend four hours driving to return my battery to Walmart and find out they were out of stock even though online it said they had 7 in stock. I could not get an associate on the phone. Great pricing just unfortunate experiences.

I ordered 4 tires from Walmart.com and had them installed here. I received excellent service - had no problem getting the store on the phone and get my issues resolved. When a tire was delayed they called on their own accord to find a solution and reschedule my appointment. I want to thank Cheryl for being so attentive and efficient. She let me know that a tire I was interested in was actually a summer tire, great advice. Took them about 1.5 hours to install which was in line with what I was told when I left the car. I tried other places around Springfield and encountered so many shops that were jam packed with people, maskless clients and service providers, and the personal safety standards at Walmart made me even happier to recommend them. Just don't drop in, call in and make an appointment.

This place should train staff amd techs in customer service and manners . It is the worst place to take your car . I will never bring my car here again. They suggest repairs that don't exist . Please get a different job, if you n't like your current one. WALMART please pay better wages to your employees so customers can be satisfied and not have to spend more money to correct mistakes your employees caused on vehicles .l.Service: Tires

I had specifically asked to add washer fluid, which they told me was a service included in the oil change, and the lady up front specifically put in a note for me. After about an hour of waiting, I physically went to the register to ask about my car, which had been done already but I hadn't received any such update on my phone. Once I got in the car, I tested the wiper fluid. There was none there. I went back in with my receipt and told the person behind the register that I had specifically asked for washer fluid but there was none there. He then apologized and went to the back, grabbed a huge box full of washer fluids and came back. Then, one of the employees who I assume was the one working on my car, gave me an angry glare and claimed that I actually was supposed to go and buy washer fluid off the sales floor. I said that's not true, it's part of the service. Then while walking back to my car to put the fluid in, the whole time he was going off on how the washer fluid is a courtesy but not a necessity and how the new manager they have doesn't know the difference between the two. I stated that no, it's part of the service. He went on and on about how it's a courtesy and I am extremely lucky that they're even doing this for me. The whole time he was filling the fluid he was spilling some off the sides. Going to avoid Walmart auto as much as I could going forward.

Last week I had called everyday all week but got no answer. Finally on Saturday when i called the store manager, they were able to connect me with someone to set up an appointment. I came here for my app for a tire change and oil change 1pm Sunday and they were packed. I asked the manager how long and he told me an hour and $25 per tire though the sign said $10 per tire. I kept busy and at 2 i went to check to see if it was ready but it hadn t been done touched. They told me it would be another 2 hours And there were only 3 people working per the tons of appointments they had.HOWEVER I spoke with a gentleman named Daniel and he set me up with an appointment for today at 11. He was completely kind and was genuinely sorry for he was overworked. I returned today and my car was done within a half hour. The price was correct and again Daniel was very pleasant.Mondays and Tuesday s are their less busy days and I suggest anyone go on those days and speak to Daniel to make an appointment because it seems the manager doesn t do his job and this gentleman does it for him. 3 stars for this worker

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. The workers here are just lazy took them 3 hours just to balance my tired and actually damaged my car in the process. i tried talking with the manager but he said they cant do anything and its MY FAULT. the tech didn't even speak English to me and just kept talking Spanish to the manager. its not fair just horrible service.Service: Tires

I went to get an oil change and the mechanics said they could not do it because of legalities being that I needed to have the oil pan and oil cover replaced first.So, I brought my car to an independent mechanic who said, my oil pan and over was fine. I just needed an oil change.Never going back to Walmart Auto for any services. I recommend you don't either.Service: Oil change

While I was happy with the initial tier application a year ago . When I got a bubble in my tire they said my raid hazard that I paid for didn't cover it. and even if it did they could not do anything for several days I called Ruckis last minute and they told me to come right down excellent service and they will have my business going forward they said the bubble should have been covered at least they would have.

I would post less then one if I could.First, I ordered 2 tires. Several days later they cancel for No reason.I Call customer service. They blame a technical glitch, ask me to order again. The have me a $25 code for my trouble.So I order again surprise surprise the code doesn't work.Try calling the number they sent me in the email nobody picks up. I go there after work about an hour drive, I'm told they no longer do walk-ins which of course was not noted anywhere on the website ordering you order process and it would help if they answered their bloody phone.At that time I couldn't make an appointment because they couldn't find my tires.half a dozen calls and several days later I finally speak to someone this time they can't find my account but apparently can find my tires I don't know how they know they're mine.Almost two weeks after it began I have an appointment scheduled. At this point I'll be very surprised if it goes smoothly.for what it's worth I tested the code they gave me on something different wondering if maybe there were restrictions. no joy it just doesn't work.won't buy tires at Walmart anymore and there's not a whole heck of a lot I buy there these days. thinking about it I think it's only motor oil I buy there and I'm not sure if that'll continue.While I'm griping their website is terrible! if I wanted to deal with a thousand different vendors I'd be on eBay, which I am not.

Wish I could give it zero stars. Absolutely horrible experience. It took 4 hours to put on tires. The staff avoid customers and avoid working. I called to make an appointment and was told they don't make appointments for tires, so I went there in person and they told me I needed to make an appointment ahead of time... They gave me the typical Walmart line that it would be a 2 hour wait, but of course it was 4. Every time I looked to see how my car was coming along, I saw workers leaning on cars hanging out and joking around with headphones in and on their phones...

I went there for 4 new tires installed and the employees talked more to each other than they worked on my car. Over 2 hours to install 4 tires.After coming back from vacation one of them has a slow leak. I need to make an Appointment to have it fixed. Ok, so I call and the associate couldn't get into the schedule. Takes my name and number but never calls me back. So now I'm getting ready to go on another vacation and have to take the tire to another shop to get fixed Update: The managers there took care of everything. They did an exceptional job orchestrating getting my vehicle repaired. Even as far as going to the dealership to get the part that was damaged during the tire install.However, with that being said. The Walmart website states they repack and service the TPMS sensors. They do not do this. If it was done, I wouldn't of had the problem to begin with.I hope the wonderful managers can get corporate to give them the tools they need to do a proper tire service.

Had absolutely horrible experience. After trying to call this place all week finally on day 5 get someone to answer. Ask them if I need to make a apt to get my new tires mounted on wheels. I get told no you do not. Go there to have to wait in line for a half hour due to their pathetically understaffed counter just to be told you need to make a apt. I explain what I had got told on the phone and am told sorry but they have a wait time of over 4 hours for people already there. 4 HOURS!? After wasting a hour worth of time dealing with everyone s incompetence I took my tires and left. After my horrible experience I ll gladly pay a local place that values its customers instead of ignoring the massive growing line that had built up. The money you save here doesn t weigh out the horrible experience you ll have. JUST DONT GO. Listen to everyone else they re not wrong or over exaggerating, not even a little bit.

Ordered a replacement snow tire online, with free shipping to the Chicopee Auto Care Center so I could get it installed. The web site tool for requesting appointments is broken. I went to their web site several times, and selecting any of available time slots all give you the error that the time slot in no longer available. Calls to the Auto Center do not get answered, going to hold, and eventually ending with "we are unable to take your call" after 30 minutes. Icing on the cake: they sent me a notice that they were automatically processing a return of the tire because no one picked it up, even though I still had 3 days left to the pickup deadline. Bring your business elsewhere.

I have been getting my oil changed at Wal-Mart since I bought my car in North Carolina in 2017. I moved back to Massachusetts in 2020, and ever since I got my oil changed here my oil has been leaking and empty when I get oil change. This happened twice now, first time mechanic said oil was leaking and asked who changed it last....YOU DID!! He claimed he fixed it, but I am here today being told that oil is empty again but there doesn't appear to be a leak. Time for an investigation and second opinion before Wal-Mart blows my engine. The assistant manager had the nerve to try to blame me, stating I need to check my oil between changes...this wouldn't be an issue if one of their mechanics didn't mess up my car.Services: Tires, Oil change

They work by appointment but nobody answers the phone to set up an appointment. I showed up at 7am from a half hour away to see if i can get help but they wouldn't take me and their techs that were supposed to be in at 630 still hadn't showed up yet. For a $15 tire change, you'd think it'd be simple...nope. If you're lucky enough to even make an appointment (and I do mean lucky), your headaches won't stop there. Show up for your appointment at 4 pm, expect a 25 minute wait before even fully checking in. Think your car will be serviced then? Spoiler alert: it won't, because they never are on time. Though, that tends to happen when you have 1 person running around between the mechanics and customer counter, with the added duty of frantically searching a store the size of a piewee football field looking for a manager to approve every transaction. I gravely regret the time and energy I spent getting my tires changed at this location. $15 is not worth my sanity.
