Waited 2 hours for them to do my oil change because they did not have my filter. Instead of telling me that they drained the oil out of my car first so I had to sit and wait for them to hunt down a filter. It also cost $130.00 which is WAY more than I ve ever paid.

I called Monroe for an oil change appointment based on a mailing that I received for. $39.99 synthetic oil change. The manager pull up the information on the computer for my 2018 Pathfinder for an appointment. It wasn t until I got to Monroe that she told me that is is not $39.99. It $92.00. She could have said that on the phone. That was sleazy. I no longer think well of Monroe. They have raised their prices dramatically recently.

Benjamin and his team were able to replace four tires with no appointment within an hour. They were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back for other services.

Overpriced left rear brake hose off on rear brakes,paid 250 for brakes to get bleeded,then they wanted to charge me 600 dollars to change one caliper and brake hose.I refused,so they left rear back brake hose not connected,never going back.

Prices way to high. Not even close to anyone's else's in the area. Seeing less and less people going there...and for good reasons. Woman working at the counter rude, didn't even try to help.

Came in for a single bearing, they told me I needed two done, then they said I needed an axle. Asked $1100+, and after only doing an axle, charged me $600 and said the transmission was bad and sent me on my way without touching bearings. Told me it could be thousands to have my car good again and referred me somewhere else. Went to another shop (not the one they referred), paid $400 for just a bearing and now my car is back to normal and sounding great. They said my transmission was absolutely fine too. Don't trust Monro with your money or your car. I basically donated them $600 and I'm never going back!

Great service!!! I spoke with the manager, Nate, on the phone first then decided to stop in person. I didn't get there until close to 5:00 thinking I'd have to order tires and schedule an appointment next week. He had the tires I wanted in stock and was able to do them right then AND my oil change, too! Excellent service and such friendly/ helpful staff. My new "go to" auto shop! Thank you, Nate and crew!

Called for a price on a simple oil change (with my oil and filter). When I asked for the price they said it was going to be $30-50 dollars, depending on my car. I offered the year, make and model to get an accurate price and they said they had to put it through on their system. I said ok, can you please do that now so I can make a decision. Their response will keep me from every attempting to go there for anything. He said, "we have to check the mileage and start the job before we put it through the system to get the price". In other words, it was gonna be $50. What doesielage have to do with an oil change? Nothing. They just wanted to rip me off. Stay away.

You lost a long time customer today. I wanted a simple oil change, same as I have been getting done in Chicopee for the last ten years. I was told that there is a new policy that I had to have a full vehicle inspection as well and that it would add an additional hour of wait time on top of my oil change. I told them I didn't need an inspection and they said its mandatory. It seems like your new policy is designed to have people get repair work that they probably don't need. Very disappointing and pretty shady in my opinion. You lost a great and dedicated manager Jeff as well from what I heard.

Bought four tires from Amazon had them shipped to this place. I was told one to one and a half hours to mount and balance four tires. Unacceptable as I look in the bay and two guys are standing there with their hands in their pockets one guy doing all the work. Almost 2 hours later the job is done.Do a search on the internet average time 45 minutes to an hour max to do the same job. GO ELSEWHERE!

Came for a regular oil change, and they go above just that. They check the whole car to make sure everything is ok. They are straight forward with explaining everything to you and pricing. This is why I never go anywhere else, their service is amazing.

My car needed brakes replaced and they did so in a timely manner, but their technician forgot a part which rendered my car undriveable and had to be towed to another shop to look at it. The manager himself gave me misinformation. They did fix the issue eventually but seemed to laugh off the error as no big deal, when it was a very big deal to me.

I bring my car here for oil changes, brakes, tires rotations maintenance needs. The staff very promptly greet you upon entering and my appointments always run on time. I have even arrived early and they took my car in, but they can be busy so I would recommend making an appointment ahead of time. I prefer calling the location rather than using the website and asking for a specific appointment slot that may already be taken. I have always been given honest feedback about the needs of my car and when to come back for future visits regarding wearing brakes. They will provide diagnostic sheets if you would like and even printed me a full breakdown of the life of my battery. Very grateful for the wonderful service.

Very convenient.Called in morning for oil change appointment and they had an opening that worked when I left work to stop by on my way home.Simply, i was in and out quickly, bonus was they added a brake check to let me know how much I had left on brakes.Very happy with Monroe!

The online appointment service at this location is inaccurate.I signed up for a state inspection two days ahead of time, had my appointment confirmed through email, and was promptly told "we don't do inspections, we never have" upon arriving at the correct time.This is two stars because the person inside kindly recommended other nearby locations to have inspections done.I cannot comment on their other services - this is an appeal to make the online appointment service more accurate, or at least to have declined my appointment when they could not fulfill it.

I do my own mechanics, but for a $19.99 oil change I have them do it. I own a Hyundai elantra I Told them I wanted the Deal advertised ($19.99), with taxes and fees usually comes out to $25. I pick it up and the guy tells me $38. I ask why, he said my car needed upgraded oil. First of all no it doesn't. It's a Hyundai, second this car has only had Monroe oil changes and this is a first at 120,000 miles. Needless to say this shop doesn't value their customers and tries to upset and overcharge without even talking to the customer. Don't go to this one.

I had my brakes done, 2 months later my brake light and VSA light came on. So I brought it back in to find out what was going on. It turns out the guy that did my brake job never put in any brake fluid.

I've gone here about 3 different times. First time was back in 2011. I got 4 new tires and a new rim because mine was bent. Was about $1,000 and those lasted about 40k miles. I went there a few other times for oil changes. The tires I got in 2011 I decided to use Town Fair Tire and replaced 2 of the 4. Long story short, Town Fair Tire sucks (still have steering wheel shake after 55 MPH because of them). Today I got 4 new tires for a different car and went here again, made an appointment a week a head of time and dropped the car off, about an hour and a half later it was done. No issues so far. I'll continue to use these guys over Town Fair any day. I've also gotten oil changes here a few times with no issues (usually do them myself though.)

Went in for their $19.99 oil change special. What is special about it is it cost you over $34 to get out the door !!! I called their Northampton store and got the same BS, but for roughly $6 less. Beware, ask the simple question, Is that the out the door price?, before committing. It was also pretty sad and underhanded that they failed to mention the total price when I called ahead to make an appointment.

I have been visiting this location for about 5/6 years... I may be wrong and it may be longer... I really appreciate the level of knowledge and professionalism that is displayed by the team.Although the team is Amazing ADAM AND JEFF are the 2 I look forward to working with when I visit... The organization should really consider Cloning/modeling their level of expertise at all Monroe locations...You guys are Amazing please carry on!!!

I have been bringing my car here for over a year. Best service and always willing to work with me on order of importance for any repair. Going today for tires. Jeff is very helpful and works to get the best deal. I will continue to use Monroe.

Very friendly and helpful. I went in to purchase 4 new tires and they told me I only needed 2. Said I would be wasting money on the other 2. I appreciate that as a single mom on a budget. I recommend the one on Memorial to aneyone needing automotive services.

I've been coming here to this specific Monro Muffler for about 10 years now because the staff are highly ethical, friendly n cost effective. The manager is super friendly n always willing to explain my best options, give his professional recommendations n tell me the best ways to save a buck. I use to go to the dealership or other chain n always had the feeling I was being robbed or scammed. This is not the case at Monro Muffler in Chicopee, Ma (memorial drive). The mAnager (Jeff) n other staff are SUPER honest n have never told me I needed car work done when I didn't. I trust this shop to work on my car 100% n the biggest reason why I am a faithful customer after a decade. I live in Palmer, Ma n still drive to Chicopee for car maintenance, etc. Highly recommend you go here if looking for honest, economical, skilled auto shop!

Was told the oil change included a tire rotation...but supposedly I did not need one. This was 3 mos ago and I drive 4000 miles a yr. JUST failed inspection for my 2 front tires they were supposed to rotate. THX a lot. Guy told me they most likely would have passed if they had been rotated in April!Never swapped out my tires as they were supposed to. SPECIFICALLY asked then to do a tire rotation , but they claimed they were fine and no need at all. Wrong! Tires wore in the front. Got rejected as unsafe and inspection place told me I should have had them rotated. But worse, when I called and told them, they INFERRED I was a liar and maybe never asked for the rotation and claimed these places just wanted to sell me tires. The place pointed out they could have said I could use back tires too if they were just trying to make a sale. Jeff said the tire places were LIARS and I could tell them so!Also had problems with their oil change. A friend pointed out oil ion the ground in my garage 2 days after the change. Then my neighbor checked dipstick and said I needed oil! He showed me, and did it 2x. I brought it back and they took car in bay and then returned showing 'normal dipstick' ( after 10 + minutes) and said it looked fine. Didn't look fine before I went there ..guessing they topped it off, AND that was for the pricey synthetic oil. STEER CLEAR.*Went back to Jeff today who said he would refund my $ , BUT that it will take 14 days. Will update this 14 days from today.**********Have left several msgs with you Kim. Pls call !Yes, Kim finally called - no refund coming AND says JEFF claims he did not tell me that. *OUTRIGHT LIES! * Kim (and Monro) do not care if he represents their business with lies.GO ELSEWHERE!

I called around 6 and said I needed a new tire, the guy said they had the right type of tire there and I told him I would either be there in 3 minutes or call him if I m not coming. He said ok and we got off the phone. I showed up 3 mins later and my boyfriend went inside and they turned me away saying I needed to make an appointment!!!! The man NEVER once said this to me!!! I ended up going to Walmart auto center in Chicopee right down the street. Great friendly service AND it was cheaper ! Don t waste your time at this monro place
