I've been taking my car to Guilbert's for years now and I can not recommend them enough. They are very fair, honest, and transparent. Everything is always very thoroughly explained to me which I greatly appreciate. Finding a good mechanic you can trust is hard, which is why I am so thankful for the integrity and quality of work that the staff at Guilbert's provides.

I use norm at auto techniques and Gilbert's they are the only two places I trust. They know if my truck is down so am I. Work stops. They are honest men that do solid work they got my 350 back up in few hours

I ve had foreign cars, domestic cars, suvs, trucks. Every time I need service I bring my vehicles to Eric and Ray. I know it will be done once and done right with quality parts. They are very knowledgeable and have always operated with integrity. Eric and Ray are great. Extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They always get my cars in quick and back to us on the same day. They have worked on my VW Tdi, C6 corvette and wife s Mazda cx3. 1st time I came to them. I got a good Referral from a neighbor. First impression is the the Shop is Very Clean and Organized. Their working on it tomorrow. Hopefully the prognosis is gentle. I have to tell you, this is type of Repair Shop thatgoes out of their way to help the Customer. They take the time to Listen to you and are veryunderstanding. They are one of the SmartestMechanics in the Area. A+++ to them.

Story Time, true story.I have a 2020 Dodge RAM Truck. Almost at 70,000, I travel for work. Brakes started squeaking, googled about my vehicle and found the brakes go between 60,000 maybe 80,000 miles out of the factory brakes. Called Guilbert's Auto Care Inc dropped truck off before we went fishing at The Quabbin reservoir yesterday, left keys in key slot drop off. It's a LOCALLY OWNED AND RUN Father and Son business, not some chain business, these two are our Western Massachusetts neighbors, vested in OUR COMMUNITY.As far as what I could tell, I needed new brakes. The son took the truck for a road test, inspected the brakes. Now I WAS EXPECTING I NEEDED NEW BRAKES!!!That young man called while we were fishing and said said, "Listen you don't need new brakes, in fact you still have 3/4 left of your brake pads. Rust spots and road dust are probably what you are occasionally hear. I heard nothing on my road test, and the brakes don't need to be replaced at this time"My next question was how much do I owe you (he took quite a bit of time out of his day to inspect my truck). His response is, "There is no charge. My Father and I run this business and it is our hope you will choose us in the future for any of your automotive needs" (That was seriously the young man's response word for word)They were closing around 4, so he said to pick up the truck after we got back in town and wished me luck fishing..I then was bent on getting back to Chicopee BEFORE they closed and meet them. Got back, again the young man refused any service charge, I was like no way, took out a $50 bill, slapped it on the counter and told the young man he was taking the money. His time is not free.This business needs to change its name to HONEST Guilberts Auto Care Inc. They could have been like the big chain places and just replaced my brakes as I asked and I would have been none the wiser. THEY CHOSE TO BE HONEST!!!GUESS WHAT, I NEED ANY AUTOMOTIVE CARE OR FRIENDS THAT DO, GUESS WHERE THEY ARE GOING, GUILBERTS AUTO CARE!!! YOU'RE FOOLISH TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!Service: Brakes

Eric fixed my convertible top for $100, which VW quoted me at $600. He replaced my turbo for a little over half of what VW quoted me. He told me that I didn t have to replace some other parts, which VW told me I needed. During the time he had my car he also replaced my squeaky door as a curtesy with no mention of it. After I picked up my car I noticed my headlight was out. I told him about this. He told me to stop by and he would replace it for me, which he did, again, as a courtesy. My car now is driving great with no dash lights and all the bells and whistles in working order. I m happy to find an honest mechanic, who has years of experience working on VW s, who doesn t charge VW prices!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Always bring my Audi here they do an amazing job every time and are very trustworthy Eric always talk to me about my car and make sure I understand everything he is doing great interaction with customers and overall they are the one and only shop I ve gone to right when I got my Audi A5 I went there to get some work done very fair prices and very fast now I have a s4 and he is just outstanding with his knowledge on these carsServices: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change
