i decided to try this place because I ve had my inspection done here a couple times and it had been a good experience. I brought my car in for an oil change and a tune up. They couldn t tell me how much it would cost before they assessed what needed to be done for the tune up, which I can understand. I got a call 4 hours later saying it was ready for pick up, so they did all the work without ever telling me how much it would cost. almost $400 later $120 for parts, $160 for labor and $80 for an oil change, plus tax. Lesson learned

Pretty good place to take car in for repairs and maintenance. I miss Jerry. Fred is pretty nice. Tony is really knowledgeable and funny. And last but not least- Gil is the most funny and great guy! I sometimes just stop by to say hi to Gil. Gas is more expensive there, though. That's a bummer but their pumps always stay busy! Oh and the air for the tires is great! Automatically stops when tire is full!

My brother has an older car and was turned away at another place. The mechanic Jerry was very helpful and assuring he could do the job. They car was towed to his place and was fixed The very Next day they were polite courteous and very reasonably priced

I've been taking my car here for oil changes for almost 5 years. Never again! Initially, they seemed like star up guys. My car takes a smaller sized air filter, and they would let me know when they didn't have it in stock. Over the last 1-2 there have been a few minor issues like forgetting to put a sticker in the car so that I know when to get the next oil change, and running out of windshield fluid a few days after service (they claim they top off all your fluids). My last oil change with them was about a month ago. My car just hit ~50,000 miles and have been noticing a few things, so I took it to my regular mechanic near work (I trust these guys a lot, they had the opportunity to rip me off but didn't). They did a full tune up and mentioned my air filter was completely blocked up. Looked like it hadn't been changed in who know how long. I looked back at the receipts from my last couple of oil changes at Gulf and they have been charging me for air filters. My best guess is that they've been skipping the filter when they don't have it in stock. Trust is such a big issue with car repairs and maintenance. It seems like a little thing, but I refuse to take my car to a place that lies to its customers.

Me and my brother wanted to use the bathroom because the one across the street didn't have one, NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS Yes, homelessness is a problem, but a restroom should be built because we searched up and down the street to find a bathroom, finally going to a pizzeria which was for paying customers only

My Uncle has been doing business with them for years and is a stickler when it comes to getting fair and honest services. With that being said he always sings their praises and whenever I have a car issue too big for me to handle, I go there based on his recommendation and have never been taken for a ride (pun fully intended). I took my car there over ten years ago for squeaking brakes that were brand new, they cleaned them up and charged me $10 bucks. Honest guys.

Do not come here. I heard a noise in my Subaru and brought it to these guys. They charged me $1300 for a wheel bearing and brakes. 2 months later I went to Fran's with the same issue, fed up. Fran replaced the wheel bearing, said it was junk, and told me to get my money back. Do not come here. Go to Fran's instead!!!

Brought my car in for inspection today and had a great experience. In and out very fast and the guys were super friendly! 10/10 would recommend

These guys totally saved my butt when I was stranded at 6:30am on a saterday morning. They helped me jump my car and even offered to repare my car that day so I could make it to work on time. When I went back after work my car was all set to go! Super standup people and I got treated with amazing respect for someone who very last min needed a quick repare. Thank you!!

This gas station is simple to get to because of its location but its not the gas station which makes this a gem. It's the person who works the morning shift who always has a smile and positive energy to each and everyone he interacts with.

I pulled in to ask if I could use the men's room and the gentleman...lol told me that they had no public restrooms. I have to assume that unless you're dropping $500 or for their "service" you're out of luck. In my opinion if you don't have the decency to help someone with a medical condition that REQUIRES them by law (which would have required nothing of him)while you're doing absolutely nothing except stuffing your face. What does that say about you as a person??I think that some of these other reviews say it all.

Literal life saver I was riding my bike home late at night because the MBTA canceled trains and suddenly had 2 flat tires with 8 miles to go and randomly noticed the lights on their Air Compressor which TAKES CREDIT CARDS! The 4 others along my route only take Quarters. I was so lucky and extremely grateful

Every year I go to get my Inspection Sticker. They are great!! There is really no wait, they have a system and they are always very friendly. My go to place.

Good gas station. Inspection sticker was done quickly. My only complaint is I don't get why they are always 10cents higher than the speedway across the street.

Guy that did the inspection was great but went to pay and the guy inside believe his name is Jonathan was rude and actually threw out change back at us. Get better front end service.

The gas prices are more expensive than speedway across the street but the autobody is great. The staffs are honest people and will only suggest the necessary repairs for your vehicle.

Don t come here for an oil change! It might be cheap and convenient but they totally messed up my car by doing a terrible job in the oil change.

I've been there on multiple occasions and I never feel like i'm getting hosed. I find them to be both honest and efficient which is nice nowadays.

Rude. We were towed in by AAA and they refused to let the car stay overnight. We had to call for another tow truck.
