Reasonably priced, fast accommodation with a positive outcome. I was referred here by my usual auto shop who quoted me $1500 for a job that needed to be done in order to pass inspection, they are good people and suggested I take it to Jay s for a more affordable price/higher level of expertise. The job was completed here for less than 1/3 of that original quote. Highly recommend!

I've been a regular customer at Jay's for quite a few years now. And I couldn't be prouder. Unlike just about every other mechanic I've tried, he doesn't blow smoke and try to rip people off. He's honest and fair in pricing. If you haven't gone to Jay's, give him a try. You will not be disappointed. He won't let you down.

Jay is the only place to go in Berkshire County for whatever you need...he's quick/ reliable/ does great work/honest/ fair...would recommend to anyone.

My experience with Jay's has been very poor. I drove down there had Chris look at my exhaust to order parts and reschedule an appt. I drove down for my appt a week later, he then informed me the parts hadn't come in. I asked why I wasn't informed and was told they were sick? He apologized and said he would reorder the parts and call me when they come in for an appt.Chris called me a week later and said parts were in to schedule an appt. I called him back 3 times and left message, but was never received a call back.I can't tell you their workmanship. But customer service is very poor.Service: Exhaust

Jay professionalism was on point !He fixed my exhaust from the catalytic converter all the way back to tail pipe with some welding and saved my y pipes when I thought I might need to replace them. He saved me $$$ by doing what he did to fix my exhaust and is like new again.His welds are clean and neat !This was my first time at Jay s Custom Bends via recommendation and he definitely did NOT DISAPPOINT !!!!I would highly recommend to anyone !BrentService: Exhaust

We called to see when we could bring our vehicle down as there was a leak. He said to bring it down in 30 minutes. Brought it down and he told us where the leak was, ordered the part and within about 30 minutes the part arrived and he fixed it. This is the best service we have experienced. Very knowledgeable, very reasonable prices. We highly recommend this place.

My first experience with Jay's, and it was terrific. Quick, friendly service, professional and knowledgeable. It's nice to find a business with integrity, and support local people/local economy. They do more than just mufflers, I highly recommend checking them out before you take your car anywhere else!

Best place to have your car cared for and loved. Jay does amazing work and has the kind of knowledge and attention to detail that is extremely hard to find. Indeed, he is a master at his craft. The shop atmosphere is also a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend him for all of your automotive needs and wants.

A good situation.....GONE BAD...... Over the years I'd paid several thousand of dollars in repair service for very good work at reasonable prices prices here. I even followed him after moving his shop 20 minutes further away. Unfortunately he brought on board a front end person.... a former Good Year counter person.... Who places NO VALUE on customer loyalty...... And so out of touch that when I called for an appointment for a bad gas leak and after a recent $841 repair bill.... That was $241 over the estimate..... All in labor charges....I was told he couldn't get me in for over a week.....All I wanted was to have it looked at and schedule it in.... I decided that it was time to switch mechanics.... Bad attitudes lead to bad experiences....i agree with other poster, Rude People....... Go some place else.

They're okay but whenever you call they never answer and when you leave a voicemail they don't call you back either. And they don't ask you for your name or phone number. When you go down there to get your vehicle fixed, they just ask you the make and the model of your vehicle

this place is a JOKE they welded my new muffler onto an old rusted out pipe and didn't even ask if i wanted to replace it. The staff was rude and do not stand behind their work or do quality work. Stay away there are much better places close by. Very disappointing

Terrible junk parts ball joints shouldn't last on a well maintained vehicle 3 monthes and failDestroyed my car junk struts thanks should be ashamed taking advantage of women on limited income disabled and caregivers that answer to the state so meaning your hurt your reputation by doing that& not forgetting your answer is slamming your phone down so forget that meaningless warranty of your work there is none

They do great exhaust work for the most part maybe not as precise as they could be but their unfriendly demeanor and knowledge for cars hinders their business, unfortunately same problem as the rest of the people with bad experiences time to switch mechanics over some petty attitudes.
