Vinnie s service is outstanding, both in quality and promptness. Quick diagnosis, turnaround, and follow up (yes, he makes sure you are satisfied with his work). He s also a cool motorcycle racer! You know he pays attention to details because of this. Can t afford breakdowns while on the task. I highly recommend him for all your car needs. He s also conveniently located if you live in the city proper.

Vinnie is an honest and fair mechanic who knows what he's doing. We had a tire with a slow leak that had been a problem for years. He identified the problem as a loose valve and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. He declined to accept any money for his time, so i felt the least i can do is leave a good review for him. We'll definitely go back the next time we have an issue with our car!

Vinnie was incredibly helpful, efficient, and kind. He replaced my brakes at a fair price and walked me through the fixes he made to replace the old rusty parts that were creating noise. I will definitely be returning for future needs!

After having an emergency break down in the i-93 tunnel, I had my vehicle towed to Vinnie's. Vinnie was extremely professional; discussing the issues with my car, calling to keep me updated on the price of the part I would need, and was flexible with my pickup time. Turn around was only a few days, and no issues have come up since my repair. If I was local, I'd probably use Vinnie for any repair needs in the future. Just want to say thanks again !

Vinny knows what he is talking about and takes good care of your car. He has no interest in inflating prices or doing unnecessary work, instead he tells you what needs to be done, shows you the evidence, explains the process and the price, and then gets it done. Trustworthy, value for money, and reliable.

I ve been going to Vinnie s for over 10 years since my first car. He has done amazing work for reasonable prices for both my Volkswagen Golf and Honda CRV. He completes the work in a reasonable time frame, and make sure I know exactly the work that was done on my car and the reasoning behind it. Can t recommend him enough!

I took my car here for an emergency repair and Vinnie could not have been more helpful. Vinnie worked quickly (same day repair), provided updates/insight on what was being repaired, used high performance parts and all for a great value. I will be using Vinnie s again for any future repairs. For anyone living in the Cambridge/Charlestown Area, I highly recommend. Five Stars!

Vinnie is hands down the best mechanic my husband and I have ever been to. He is fair, super fast, and always explains everything he's done to keep your car running! We've been taking our cars to Vinnie for about 4 years, and we actually don't live in Cambridge anymore, but commute into Cambridge from the north shore to bring our cars to Vinnie's because he's literally a miracle worker when it comes to cars.

Vinnie is one of the most reliable, creative and reasonably priced auto mechanics in Boston. I've trusted him to take care of multiple vehicles and he's handled repairs effectively and efficiently and kept things running smoothly. I appreciate that Vinnie often provides the option for a good cheap fix by creatively sourcing parts. I highly recommend Vinnie to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic in Boston.

I'm not one that gives a lot of reviews, but I really want to share the amazing experience I had with Vinny today.I'm new to the Cambridge area and needed some routine maintenance done on my car (oil change and brakes).Vinny is fast (same day), friendly, honest, and has extremely fair prices. I won't be going anywhere else moving forward and I'd highly recommend to others

He went above and beyond while charging very fairly. I really felt how he cared about me and the car, explained everything to me, didn t upsell me on anything, even arranged with me to meet on a day when he usually doesn t work because he happened to be in the area and it was more convenient for me. When I mentioned that there were recalls on my car, he asked me to bring him all the recall papers so he can check if I can get reimbursed for any of his work which may have been caused by the recalls. Amazing experience!

Could not have asked for a better experience getting my car fixed. Vinnie had me in and out in no time, fair prices, and great service (he even called after picking up my car to make sure everything was working fine). I wouldn t go to any other mechanic in the Boston/Cambridge area!

We were visiting Boston and the cars brakes were shot. We thought we were screwed. Vinnie gave us an AMAZING deal on new brakes last minute, was super friendly and helpful to us out-of-towners with recommendations for what to do while we waited. He fixed the brakes in no time, did an amazing job and even called the next day to make sure we made it back home ok. BY FAR the best auto repair service on the east coast. Vinnie, you rock.

This guy is AWESOME! Super fair prices and great service. Another mechanic told me I needed brakes and rotors for 800 and vinnie looked at my car and saw I just needed brake fluid and did my oil for 60. He gave me an incredible price on tires too (~600 for 4 tires installed). Go here!

A little rough around the edges, but takes the extra time to not only treat your car with care but look further than you ask to make sure your vehicle is in tip top shape!When I brought my old jalopy in for a timing belt change, Vinnie found 2 or 3 other pulleys that are not typically required to be changed at the same time. He explained to me that had they not been changed, with a brand new belt, they would have siezed right up and caused even more damage!Been going to Vinnie for about 5 years now (or more maybe) and recommend him to everyone I meet in the Cambridge/Somerville area.

After another mechanic told me I need a ridiculous amount of work, I bought the parts online and Vinnie replaced my brake master cylinder along with new brake fluid. He told me I didn't the rest of what the other mechanic said, and gave me back my unused parts. He charged me $180 for labor. Very happy with the service, I plan to come back.

Have used Vinnie twice -- for power steering leak and new shocks. He knows his stuff. He's honest. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else but to Vinnie.

I called and asked if they did inspections or auto body work, and Vinnie answered that they didn't, but he gave me two phone numbers, saying how they are friendly, honest, and cheap, one number for auto body, and one for inspections. He was really nice and knowledgeable, and I will definitely go to them for any mechanical work.

Went for an Oil change and was told air filter, and belts would be inspected. when I picked up the car he told me he didn't have time to do the inspection and cussed a couple of times as he said it. very unprofessional, won't go again.
