After my car was smashed into by a drunk driver, it totaled up to $8,500 in damage to my 2019 BMW X5 x50i.After insurance and all that, it went to repair at CLM. Absolutely impressed by the timeliness and repair work they did. Beyond exceeded my expectations. They even went out of their way to make sure everything with the car was working and running smoothly. They even replaced a fuse that had blown just out of good faith. Absolutely the best place to get any and all repairs done. They are friendly, honest, and very professional. 10/10 recommend - thank you for your hard work!!

I ve had a great experience with CLM. I had a complicated situation where I was rear ended by two different cars in a 1 week period. They helped figure out how to split the damages into two estimates and helped me communicate with the other drivers. The work was done really nicely and very quickly. I ll continue to go back!

It was hard for me to find a trustworthy mechanic. But I finally found one with CLM. I ve been getting my car serviced here for about two years now and I ve never felt cheated or mistreated!! Every quote I was ever given was spot on and I ve never had a issue with any work they ve done to my car. If you looking for a no nonsense, mechanic to tell it like it is this is the place for you!! Only negative thing I have to say is that they re not open on the weekends but I guess a mechanic has to have a life to

Top-tier mechanic customer experience. Was strongly recommended CLM from a Reddit thread for their efficient, reasonably priced work and friendly conversational service and my experience lived up. They fit me in on somewhat short notice and got my car back out the door same day, explained the issue clearly, and were honest and fair in their pricing. It was clear watching interactions that all the staff are like a family to each other (if they aren t literally family, I have no idea).

Nothing but flawless, I brought my car there about a month ago, my engine was blown and I was ready to sell it, I got in contact with the owner who worked with me on getting a new motor, who replaced it effortlessly (it's not easy with my car otherwise I would have done it) AND they did a awesome job.fast forward a month later still with the work Mario put in it runs great and it was done at a reasonable time and very good price. I would recommend every person I know to go there.

The most honest fair priced shop. I had gone a week prior to another business in Cambridge and they wanted to charge me for a replacement of my entire tire instead of plugging the tire . CLM is not like the others , I will be a returning customer

I have been bringing my car to CLMauto body and auto repair shop in East Cambridge for years mostly for auto maintenance since I rarely have a fender-bender. But recently I side-swiped the passenger side of my 2011-Honda Element,taking a sharp turn out of a drive-through and I hit a lamp post. I was bumped Honda stopped making the Element in 2011. The side of my car was wrecked! I brought my car into CLM to have Rob look at it He said it would by tough finding a new door etc, since the Element is no longer made. It took some time but boy was it worth the wait!! CLM did an amazing job restoring my car. I paid out-of-pocket, Rob gave me a fair price for an outstanding job! Over a year ago I wrote a review on how this business always had cars parked in the bike lane. They put a sign for their clients not to block the bike lane. It would be nice if they actually reinforced it. I bike through there every weekday and can confidently say at least 50% of the time I have to yell at cars blocking the bike lane. If you want your costumers not to block the bike lane, don t actively take and talk to them on the bike lane like today.

Interacts with customers in friendly manner. However, the estimate given didn't include labor. They need to estimate the total cost to customers, specify parts estimate and labor estimate. Otherwise, they did a commendable job for an average price.

I've always had a great experience at CLM. They're friendly, honest, and upfront about what does and does not need to be done on your car. I go for general maintenance (oil changes, brakes, etc.) and each time it's been done quickly and at a really fair price. I'm so appreciative of having found such a great mechanic in Cambridge!

They were supposed to replace my starter but they end up causing more problems. They initially will offer you cheaper price than any other place but it will end up costing you triple the amount they offer to fix your car. And they don t know how to speak to their customers. Mario is very rude and doesn t know what he is doing. He told me my car was good to drive and my car started smoking 10min after I drive away from their location. If you decide to go to this place, I hope you have extra money in your bank because it will end up costing you more money than you ever imagined.

By far the best and most honest car shop in Cambridge. (I've gone to several others that I don't even want to name.)CLM saved me after my car got sideswiped a couple of years ago and I've been going to them ever since. An absolutely treasure.

They do what needs to be done, and no upsell. They don t waste time trying to upsell you. Tell them your problem, and they will look into it. Just prepare to drop your car off. Waiting for the car is probably not the best unless they tell you to.

I've been here twice, and both times they had my car ready within a couple of hours with no issues, and at a great price. I've lived in Cambridge my entire life and I always used to leave the city to have work done on my car. Glad I found them in my backyard. I dropped by CLM to get a quote to replace my passenger side mirror, and they were great! I was helped by Nelson and he gave me a quote within 15 min after calling parts dealers to get me the best price. He was able to take my car a couple days later after painting the part and got everything fixed in about 20 min. The whole process only took about 4 business days, and likely would ve been done faster if I had made up my mind and scheduled the repair quicker. As a young female driver, I get intimidated by body shops and worry about being treated fairly, but this shop surpassed my expectations by far. Auto insurance claim to a damaged car. I asked them if there was any way to get the car out sooner and they performed. Car looks amazing. Fought with insurance for accurate appraisal for the worth of damage on the vehicle. Truly happy with the work done here. Thank you so much

5th time stopping in - again No problems, minimal wait, was able to find parking not in the bike lane and I was next in line for inspection. You either watch the fish (huge fishtank in the waiting room) or the mechanics fixing your car through the big glass windows. There's a TV which had some game show on when I stopped in. Cash or card for payment. Straightforward, clean. I'll be back.

CLM does great body and automotive repair and extremely fair prices. Rob and Mario are honest and great guys. If you are looking for a great local and family owned shop that will treat you right, CLM is the place.

Have been taking our cars here for the past twenty plus years. Consistent excellent service at reasonable prices. Straight forward recommendations and explanations without the dealer attitude and excessive costs. These guys know cars, trucks and mechanical science. One of their major clients is Zip Cars and a growing group of loyalists. If I could give 6 or 7 stars, I would. Truly a great experience. Everyone was extremely nice, easy to speak with and transparent and thoughtful about explaining what needed to be done. From the owner, Rob, to his team of master mechanics, my husband and I were kept in the loop and treated as as if we were their most impt customer...and they were swamped with work, so obviously they have a great reputation. Robert and the team at CLM are suburb!! They went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was completed in enough time so I could still move by the end of the month. This includes but not limited to, the fact they tracked a part from Chicago, a part that was on back order country wide!! Definitely recommend. Always a good experience! They say when you're a women, car repair folks take advantage of you. Never felt that way at CLM. Mario always steers me towards the right direction and never ask me to pay for what's unnecessary. I recommend this place with my eyes closed. Front desk folks are always cordial which is a plus for me . I drive from far to go there, so that says something.
