I recently had a pleasant experience with City Motor Group for selling my leased Toyota nearing its maturity to cash the positive equity built.I was contacted by them after submitting an online request with KBB instant cash offer. The process was quick and after a few minutes of in-person inspection they offered me a few hundred dollars more than the online instant amount. I took couple of days to compare their offer with other different dealerships and finally decided to proceed with them. Although their offer was couple of thousand dollars lower than the average market value but they were able to match or beat other third-party buyers. I had also originally read about them usually offering more than the KBB instant cash offer amount in their google reviews. After dropping off the car, their assistant was able to verify the details with Toyota on the phone and prepare the paperwork for me to sign. Everything went smoothly and I left their office with the check and my plates in hand.Highly recommend them if you are looking for a fairly quick and hassle-free way to sell your car. I should also mention that they have a responsive and professional team.

I went in to sell my Jeep and they offered me a fair price. No games at all. Just honest service. I was so impressed that I decided to sell my Range Rover to them as well (I was moving out of state and when we chatted about that, he asked if I had a second car I wanted to sell. I said yeah and walked out owning zero cars). A huge pleasant surprise tor me!

We are located in Florida and our daughter facilitated the sale. Everyone there were very helpful and guided her with what she needed to do. The paperwork was done professionally and they followed through with what they said they were going to do. The sale was seamless and easy. I recently had a frustrating experience with Boston Car Buyers, particularly in my interaction with Sean Kadagishvili. From the outset, I made it clear to Sean that I had received a compelling offer for my car and would only consider selling to them if they could beat that offer. Sean assured me via email that they could indeed provide a better deal.Regrettably, my experience took a turn for the worse when, after taking a half day off and rearranging my schedule to meet with Sean, he informed me that they couldn't beat the offer. This left me feeling both irritated and inconvenienced, as I had driven 45 minutes to their location, only to be met with disappointment.What struck me most was the inconsistency in Sean's communication. To promise a better offer and then fail to deliver on that promise reflects poorly on the professionalism of Boston Car Buyers. The time and effort I invested in making it to the appointment, combined with the frustration of learning they couldn't fulfill their commitment, have left me with a negative impression of the company.It's disheartening when businesses do not uphold their word, especially when it involves inconveniencing customers who have made an effort to engage with them. I would advise others to approach appointments with caution and perhaps seek alternative options to avoid similar disappointments. In the future, Boston Car Buyers should be more mindful of making promises they cannot keep and ensure better communication to avoid wasting their customers' time.Update:just wanted to clarify, I showed Charlie (from Boston Car) the online offer that I've received from the other dealership, unfortunately, I thought the other dealership offer was similar to the one from CarMax or Carvana (I thought they give an offer and that's it). It seems most dealership love to utilize a bait-and-switch tactic to bring in car owners to their stores before lowering their offers. After meeting with the other dealership, I did contact Sean and informed him about what happened. I'm the one who emailed him and showed him the final offer from the other dealership, that was not another "in person inspection" that you guys completed!!!!Yes, I did contact Sean and I was willing to work things out with him, however, after reading this reply. I prefer to go with CarMax or Carvana, at least they provide upfront and final prices without the need for in-person negotiations although their offer was much less than what was offered to me from other dealers.FYI, I do have the log of all communication with Sean too, I'm not hiding anything. However, I'm very frustrated with the way you treated a potential customer. I would have been more than happy to come back to you guys if I was treated with respect!

I recently sold my Audi Q5 to this dealership. They are very professional. The transition was super smooth. They offered the price matching Carmax price. I would recommend my friends to here if they need to sell their car in the future!

Selling my Audi A8 to City Motors was very easy and a pleasurable experience. They surprisingly made a better offer than 3 out 4 of the online platforms so they were very competitive and fair. Offering a check on the spot made it well worth the drive down to see them versus taking a risk with one of the online guys. Highly recommend.

I loved my experience selling my car to City Motor group. I was initially contacted by Sean who has an amazing customer service but I wasn t able to make it to the appointment we scheduled. I had arrived a few days later without notice and was received by Charlie. I received a higher offer from City Motor group than what KBB had offer me. The process was really fast and simple. And this was a great help as I was looking to stack my DP for a home. Thanks again Charlie for all the help and willingness to work an offer than will benefit both of us!

The whole process was fast and seamless. I was offered a very fair price for my car at their first offer. The staff is friendly and professional, and you can trust them to be transparent and fair. I highly recommend them. You ll get considerably more for your car here than in a dealer trade.

This was a great car selling experience. I went to a large dealer before this place and they never even looked me in the eye, and generally didn't treat me well. Then I got to City Motor Group and was immediately treated like a valued customer, even before they knew that they wanted to buy my car. Charlie was awesome, great to talk with and they also gave me about $130 more than the big dealer! Called and paid for an Uber to get me home, awesome customer service I would recommend anyone looking to sell your car to check out this place.

Charlie couldn't have been more open, honest, and transparent with the purchase of our 2022 VW Atlas. Dealers will try to put you into another vehicle, whereas Charlie will give you a fair deal - efficiently and quickly.

What a great experience! We had a 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 that we drove out from CA and were having trouble selling for it's correct value as it did not have all wheel drive and we learned that is an important feature for a car in this region. After many bad quotes and dealers who did not honor instant value offers, we found City Motor Group that honored the value offer we had received and made the process extremely easy and quick. Within an hour we had sold our car, had a check in hand and were happy to feel that we were given the correct value for the vehicle. Thank you so much for making the process easy!

When my wife and I were moving country and needed to sell both of our cars we shopped around to 4 or 5 different dealers, along with attempting private party sales - in both cases we found City Motor Group to give the best offers. We were very pleased with the sales team's transparency. They offered above KBB "instant cash offer" value in both cases, and when pushed for higher prices were able to give good reasoning and stats as to why their offer was 'fair'. I'd definitely recommend visiting if trying to sell your vehicle

I was given a great price on my Jeep. Jessica and Charlie was so easy to deal with, It all went fast. My check was in my hand before my ride showed up. I also left my garage transponder in the jeep and they went out and got it until I could get there to get it.Highly Recommended

Highly recommend Mark and the entire selling experience with City Motor Group. They beat Carvana and CarMax on price AND customer service. Barely any waiting around when I had the car appraised by them and then again when I sold to them. A+

The transaction was done quickly and I received a fair value for my car. I have sold cars to bigger dealerships where they can't cut checks right away - not the case here. I walked in and less than 30min later I walked out with my check.

Very tiny small car dealer that owner has a poker face at all. They are trying to steal your money that corporate with K B B instant cash offer . I believe these dealer could buy cheap cars with good price but do not sell your luxury vehicles to this small dealer which looks like can t afford it. They give the lowest price in the town which is like 3-5k down. Never trust this cheap dealer.

I have two cars, and don't want to keep my 2010 Honda Civic anymore. I called up City Motor Group yesterday, and talked to Charlie. I told Charlie I wanted to sell my Honda Civic and asked him if they buy cars like mine. Charlie said yes, and told me I could drop in anytime before 1 pm. He would look at my car and see if he could make an offer. I drove my car to City Motor Group in Cambridge just before noon. Charlie inspected my car quickly, and made me a fair offer. We agreed on the price in less than 5 mins, and the rest was Charlie doing paperwork and writing me a check. The office was clean and comfortable. Charlie was professional, friendly and fair. Best of all, Charlie ordered Uber for my ride home, and he paid for it! I was so impressed. I would refer my friends to Charlie with no reservations whatsoever.

I had my 34k mile high trim Prius for sale online for almost 2 weeks. Patrick made me an offer on the first day. I wanted to wait since I got an offer so fast and it was only $1,500 below KBB. I figured I can wait a little for private sale and get more.A week and a half went by with a bunch of inquiries and people failing to show up for their appointment to see the vehicle. Meanwhile, Patrick had been in touch on my progress. I asked him what his process is with getting this done and it sounded way easier. Long story short, Patrick stuck to his offer and I was in and out of Boston car buyers with a check in 10 minutes like he said.

Deep lowball offer to buy my car 10.5k. I went a mile down the road and sold it for 12k instantly. They were courteous, but way too greedy, and I didn't even bother to negotiate with them. Unfortunate.

I had an excellent experience with Boston car buyers. I needed to sell my car quickly and they handled everything. I found them through Kelley blue book. They didn t offer as much as I would ve liked but the reasons they were not able to do so were solid. I made the appointment one day in advance, a very friendly rep met me at my home and thoroughly assessed my car, made an offer and then agreed to raise it a bit, wrote me a check on the spot, and had someone come over to take the car whenever I was ready, which was the following morning. Such an easy process, and frankly the time saved on the hassle of looking for and haggling with potential buyers was worth the slightly higher higher price I may have been able to negotiate. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend them.
