I went to this Valvoline for an oil change and tire rotation. After they completed my tire rotation I was told there was a nail in my tire and I needed to go to a tire shop ASAP to get it repaired. I IMMEDIATELY went to a tire shop down the road from the Valvoline and when that tire shop tried to remove my tire they found that the lugs were misaligned on the studs and had been over tightened to the point that, in order to repair my tire, they needed to break the lugs and studs off. When I reached out to Valvoline to get reimbursed for the lugs/studs that had to be replaced due to their mistake of misaligning/over tightening I was immediately dismissed by the manager and was told there was no way they were misaligned or tightened. I have now tried to get in touch with the regional manager who has not called me back after almost a week of trying. I think this is terrible business practice. Maybe they can do a quick oil change but they messed up my tire, tried to gaslight me into thinking they didn t do anything wrong, and now will not get back to me. I will never go to Valvoline again if this is how they treat customers.

My spot in Brookline to get my oil changes! Right down the street from NETA dispensary, they are always so polite and efficient!! I would recommend this spot to anyone! Again, the staff are on point and have the best grasp on what each car needs. It's just such a great location for me!

They ridiculously over tightened the new oil filter. Guy was basically jumping on his wrench to get it as tight as humanly possible. About an hour later the check engine light came on (possible this was just a coincidence, but could have been caused by over tightening and breaking something) and I had to remove the oil filter to make some repairs. This is when I realized the filter was NOT the OEM size, so I couldn't remove it with the tools I had. Had to buy new tools and even then, it was nearly impossible to get off because of how tight it was. Changing my oil myself from now on.

I went to Valvoline and Deryl serviced my car. He did the oil change and fixed my air conditioning. He took his time and assessed the AC before exchanging the coolant. It took a bit longer than expected but he updated me and was very thorough. Unfortunately a few hours after I left the AC stopped working. I called Daryl and he offered I bring it in the next day, unfortunately due to work I wasn t able to until Saturday. Daryl assured me that even though he would not be in his manager would be and would fix the AC. Daryl was professional and compassionate and let me know if his manager could not fix the AC they would reimburse me in full. I took my car in to Valvoline on Saturday and the manager was able to get the AC working. I am very appreciative of Daryl going above and beyond to ensure my AC was fixed. He did not try to take advantage of the situation and truly helped me. Thank you Daryl for your hard work and customer service. If you go to Valvoline, look for Daryl, he is excellent at his job!!!Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

The service here is great! The people are really nice and thoroughly look at your car and let you know if everything is running/working fine.They pumped my tires, looked at my engine, AC filters, and checked all my lights. I highly recommend this place. You also don t need to make an appointment. Just drive in.

Super professional and friendly, fast service too! We had an issue after getting our battery replaced where something happened with the fuse and our locks stopped working, initially we were disappointed because they weren t able to fix it but after getting it fixed at the dealer and coming back to Valvoline and explaining the issue, they actually reimbursed us for the cost of having it fixed at the dealer! Really appreciate the excellent customer service!

I got in right away, they were quick and efficient and I got a $10 coupon online. Lu�s was really patient, quick and went above and beyond. Even showed me how to check my own oil levels if I ever encountered a dangerous situation on the road. Usually very sketched out by mechanics/people who work on my car due to bad past experiences. Would recommend!! Thanks!

I live in neighborhood & go here & have ALWAYS had the absolute best service! Today I had 2 gentlemen help me w/ tightening a screw ( on my bike rack) I needed that had NOTHING to do w/ oil change & not only did they go above & beyond they were SUPER friendly & didn t need to do this AT ALL! I would never give my business to anyone else! You have hired rockstars Forever grateful And trust me, I will make sure this phenomenal service is known

This location has given me reliable service for the last year or so over 3 or four oil changes. The staff are friendly and the service has always been pretty quick. They even give the kids crayons and a coloring book while they wait. If you don t mind the spam you can reliably get 5 to 7 off conventional oil service coupons when you need them.

I had excellent service at this location when I brought my car in for oil change -and they even fixed both of my headlights free of charge - I had an issue lights not turning on even though I had replaced the light bulbs myself but I could not make them to work for a whole week -they fixed them in minutes these guys are pros and have a really great service - I would recommended them - I will always come back there to have oil changes -Services: Electrical, Oil change

Our van was heating up and just went in for a checkup. The assistant manager Rob left what he was doing and immediately took a look and topped the engine with some coolant. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes. Great service! Will come here again.

Probably the best oil change I ve ever had. I went in at 8am and was able to field a meeting from the phone and get out in 15 min. I ll take that over waiting an hour and driving 45 min to a dealership. $95- $7 coupon+ few min wait= a great value.

Update 5/2: I contacted customer service as mentioned in the owner's comment below. I received no response. Don't spend your money here.Don't go here. They did not reinstall my splash shield after doing an oil change on 1/30/19 and I just discovered it when I went to put on my summer tires. The total cost for the replacement was $384.26 after labor. Also, I didn't write anything after the fact (I'm a forgiving and generous person), but during this oil change the tech dropped my oil cap and spent over 20 minutes fishing it out with his colleagues. At the time it didn't bother me as, you know, things happen. However, to discover my splash guard went missing as well during this visit really makes me doubt the quality of their service. I have been visiting this location since moving to Boston in 2016, but won't be going again. I would advise you to so the same.

Stopped in for my oil change at the last minute before a long family trip. Very fast service, as advertised. A good bit more expensive than my regular mechanic but that's the price of convenience. Make sure to use one of the coupons from their website.

Don t go over there it s a scam. They will charge you 104$ for a cheap 3000 miles oil change. My experience is I was never given any details the guy said open the hood changed the oil and then gave me a paper saying come back is 3000 miles for an oil change I was like I think there is something wrong it should be 10,000 miles and he goes oh no we don t do that here and when I got upset he gave a hand written paper saying come back in 5000 miles. It s sadly funny but if you are a person that would like to give your concent to any thing done to your car don t go there

Worst experience ever. Got coolant for my car and some other services. In total spent $600. Incompetent technician left the radiator cap open. As a result lost coolant over time and car stopped in middle of a Highway during peak traffic time.

I've gone to about 5 different Valvolines. All of them have been solid. They have a system down that integrates team members verbally "signing off" on each other's work at certain critical points. I love this. Everyone is human, so "oops" can happen to any of us. But because of how they look over each other's shoulder here, a costly oops seems so much less likely here than many everyday oil shops. That means something to me.And the whole reason I wrote this: this location in particular stands out above the other Valvoline's as being particularly top notch. Somebody here did well in hiring, training, and retaining an excellent team.

They were supper helpful! I called around to 7 different places, but this was the only one that answered the phone! When I got there, I was not disappointed. They were speedy, knowledgeable, and made my first (but definitely not last!) trip to Valvoline super pleasant. Plus it was cheaper than I was expecting!

Always amazingly polite and efficient. These people work hard and are very helpful on letting you know what you really need and what you don't.I always tip the attendants I'm so happy with the service. It's one of the few places I go where the staff does NOT make me feel like an inconvenience which tends to be the nature of most customer service these days.

Have had good experience here in the past, but my last two visits the serviceman made mistakes: put on the wrong wiper blade size and couldn't get my air filter back on. Most of the time, Valvoline does a thorough job of checking car maintenance items. I still have faith in their brand, but they need to bump up their hiring standards.

Couldn't ask for a better oil filter + oil change experience! The staff were super friendly and informative, and even diagnosed a couple issues with the car that weren't problematic yet, but were likely soon to be. All of this was accomplished in <25min as well. Thanks a lot!

My car was serviced someone named Damian T of the Brookline MA location. He's was friendly and accuate with what he recommended about my car... ill definitely be returning to get another oil change
