Today I had the pleasure of working with JD Auto. Not only did John live up to his name, but he also went above and beyond to save me a $1000 compared to another mechanic with "Pleasant" in their name.JD Auto was professional, genuine and committed to customer satisfaction. He took the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle and patiently explained the issues he found. What impressed me most was his honesty and transparency qualities that are unfortunately hard to come by in the auto repair industry.If you're looking for a trustworthy and skilled mechanic who genuinely cares about your wallet and your vehicle, look no further than JD Auto. I recommend him (and his son) and will be returning for any future automotive needs.On a side note, I had a less-than-pleasant experience with another mechanic with "Pleasant" in their name. After my recently experience at JD Auto Shop, this will be the only place I ll ever go again for car needs. They are extremely attentive, detail oriented and knowledgable. I needed 4 new tires - they explained the options, ordered and when I arrived the next morning and they took my car right away.Highly recommend !

Visiting from 13 hours out of state I noticed a tire leak and damage to my valve stem. John got me in immediately with no appointment and his mechanic Jeff had me fixed with a new TPMS sensor (hard to find) within 40 minutes. Fantastic people at this shop.

Felt the need to write another review for JD Auto Center because of how wonderful of an experience I had with them. This is the second time I ve used them for my auto needs. I needed my USB port replaced and they fixed it within a matter of minutes. The owner is kind and friendly and the mechanics are quick and efficient. Again, highly recommend them!!

John and his team are perhaps the most honest people in this business. Every time I have to go there (Which is not very often thank goodness) to service my car, I leave the place with a smile on my face, and my car drives like new! Don t go to any other mechanic. The most honest, and efficient, people that I have ever worked with. I needed front brakes and stabilizer links, and they were done in 3 hours. They even washed the rims. Great people, great service.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I had roughly $2000.00 spent here on repairs.Had to bring car back multiple times (each repair). Finally brought it to a REAL mechanic,he told me everything was "BUTCHERED" under there.now he has to pull out everything,and do it properly.rumors of ,cleaning and/or painting your own parts and selling it back to you......He used to be jd EXXON,a few years ago he was under investigation for the parts scam.. suddenly he is jd SERVICE ......Exxon pulled out.I wouldn't let any of them near the bicycle I'm forced to ride now. PURE GREED

My wife had to take the nearest available garage when something went wrong with her car. The folks at JD Auto Center were not only professional, transparent in pricing, and punctual in delivery of service, but they came across as people I'd be glad to have on my front porch sharing a cold one with. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

When I came to pick up my car, the owner offered me my keys with a smile--before I'd paid--and told me to take a drive around the block so I could be sure it was fixed properly. After very bad experiences elsewhere, I was blown away by JD Auto's expertise and the cordial and respectful way they treat customers. They repaired a connection in a hard-to-access place that other shops either didn't know how to get to or just didn't want to bother with (more on that below). Once they took a look, they showed me exactly where the problem was, didn't even mention what they'd have to do just to reach it(!), and their prices were really good.I brought my car in 2 days before Christmas, and while I waited in the large customer lounge, other customers kept showing up and dropping off large packages of holiday goodies! The way they do business generates plenty of good will in their customers.Here's how bad things were before I went to JD Auto: people were making me feel I was darkening their doorstep by requesting a repair that they didn't want to deal with. Two other shops had told me there was nothing wrong with my car even though there clearly was: a concerning clunk when turning the wheel! One shop charged me for a fix that quickly came undone, and when I returned and calmly said I was not satisfied with the repair, the owner was hostile (and told me to leave). At another shop, after he said nothing was wrong with the car, the owner agreed to go on a test drive with me so I could point out the sound. He stood me up twice.JD Auto would be terrific even if I hadn't had such bad experiences elsewhere. Had an excellent experience with JD Auto Center. I brought in my car this morning and had it back the same day which was a wonderful surprise! The owner was friendly and kind and explained everything to me very clearly. Overall, a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend them for any car service needs!

The upcharge on Full Serve is ridiculous. Paid about $10 more than what I usually pay for a tank of gas. Don t make the same mistake I did.

I have had my car serviced here repeatedly and always have a great experience. Friendly staff, good advice, and reasonable prices. Most recently I took my car here after a long period of neglect and they got it running like new. Best place I ve ever been to get my car repaired!! I m a girl in my early 20s, know nothing about cars and recently moved to the area, and to be honest auto shops scare me (lol). But I went here and felt so comfortable and well-informed. They communicate tremendously (letting me know it was brake issues plus electrical) and got my repairs done within one day which I was insanely impressed by. 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone, the owner and staff were absolutely amazing !!Service: Brakes

I have been going to JD Auto for years. Every single time they go above and beyond to give me amazing service. They are kind, courteous, informative, and detail oriented. During the pandemic, there were supply chain issues to get a costly part that I needed. They went ahead and did welding work to essentially rebuild the part that I already had. This morning I came in on a Saturday with my bumper hanging off, no appointment. Within hours they fixed my bumper and even heated it to remove other pre existing dents and helped me avoid a costly trip to a body shop. They also did a full service on my car and noticed that my control arms and stabilizer links were shot. I only know these terms because they picked me up from my house to drive me over and show me the work being done. They always educate me about exactly what they are doing and why. The level of service is unmatched and I will never go anywhere else. Two combined reviews: 5/5 Auto service, 0/5 gas. had a great experience getting regular maintenance here, very transparent mechanic, just have to show up early because they are popular!Gas: Do not buy gas here, their sign out front is not accurate to the pumps, and if you pull into full service, attendant doesn't even tell you that full service is $4.50 a gallon until you get the receipt back. Told me to 'read the sign', which I find later is 10ft off the ground in tiny text. Honestly gas experience was bait-and-switch and so bad I don't even know if I want to get my car serviced here anymore.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

This review is long overdue, but the day before thanksgiving I noticed my car was making some rough sounds when I used the brakes. I knew it would be a long shot to get it repaired the day before such a big holiday, but I called to see if they could just look at it and tell me if it was road safe. I learned that my brakes were completely stripped and my front right tire was bald. They had a line of cars already booked in and had no more room for the day (the next several days).The owner of the store asked me what I would do for thanksgiving and I said that my family would probably just have to stay home instead of going to see family in New Hampshire as this was our only car. He managed to call a parts delivery service and got me new brakes and a new tire that day. It took a reasonable amount of time and I was charged an extremely fair price.I simply cannot recommend this place enough. Fair pricing, great people. I am going to recommend this place to everyone! With my car coming into the shop with several significant issues this morning, I am ecstatic and shocked that I was able to have my car back before closing time of the same day.I never really write reviews but after my experience with JD Auto today, there's no way I could not write a review after the amazing service they provided. First thing in the morning, my power transmission went out. With being new to the area, I looked to the online reviews and just sent it away to the nearest shop, fingers crossed that it would be a good shop to go to.Upon my car's arrival at the shop, it seemed that instead of having a simple fix of just replacing the power steering fluid, my car had an electrical power steering, which meant electrical work would need to be done or that it would need to be entirely replaced. Knowing how pricey the replacement would be, the shop diligently worked to resolve the electrical issue at hand.In addition to the power steering, I sent it away with some other concerns of mine, all of which was fixed at a very reasonable price and extremely timely. If you're looking for a shop to go to please trust my review along with all of the other positive reviews listed for this shop.The shop was very friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable, empathetic, and were any and all other terms around having exceptional customer service you can think of. They remained very transparent and kept me informed throughout the entire day. Bait and switch on gas prices. The advertising said $3.7 per gallon (fine print says self cash) The gas station attendant ran up to my car and said they offer full service. He took my card and sweet talked me. He skillfully prevented me from seeing the gas price. Once he filled up my tank, I was shocked to see that price was $4.5 per gallon. Ah, classic bait and switch. I ll never again come here.

JD Auto Center did a great job diagnosing and fixing my car! They explained to me exactly what they did, were willing to answer questions, and charged me very reasonable prices as well.I highly recommend this place and am planning on coming back here for my car issues in the future!

My granddaughter had loss of power and radiator fluid leakage with her car. She took it in on a Monday morning and they had it repaired by Tuesday afternoon. They also notice her front brakes were not in good shape. They had her take pictures of the brakes and sent the pictures to me. We agreed with the technician and owner to replace them. We are extremely pleased with their work ethic and professionalism. Personally I am so grateful with how they treated my granddaughter. These guys are the best. A few years ago I had to return to an autoshop 4 times for the same problem. Eventually I gave up with that place and took my car to JD Auto. They fixed it immediately and were incredibly warm and thoughtful. My wife and I have been going since and they always take such good care of us and our cars. It s nice to have a place you can trust who does fantastic work.

My family has been coming here for over a decade now, and we couldn't be happier.I had an issue with my ac unit, and since I was out of town, I went to Pep boys who made me wait 5 hours despite having an appointment, charged me $90 for their inspection fee, then after 2 weeks of waiting called me back to try and charge me $2400 to order and replace the parts. When I got back I went to JD, without an appointment, they took my car that day and explained Pep Boys got their inspection wrong and the parts they tried to charge me for weren't even broken. Even better, JD had the parts on site and fixed the issue the same day I brought it in for $1200 less. We have used a few auto repair places in the past, but for the last 15 years, we will only go to JD Auto Repair because they are the only place that:1. Has friendly and caring owners (John and Costas) who really care about serving their customers.2. Have fair prices and even under-charge sometimes (like recently when we found mice eating through the wire of one of our cars). They are sensitive to price for their customers, which makes a difference for people like us with some older cars.3. They will always see us last minute and in an emergency.As a woman, I feel safe working with these men because I know they will treat me with respect and not price gauge me. They also always take the time to explain what is going on with the car, in lay-person language, given that I don't know much about cars.Please don't listen to the bad reviews. We have used JD Auto several times now. We brought our car in for what we thought was a very expensive repair. They spent several hours working on the car and ultimately found that our car was under an extended warranty for the part we needed. We had no idea! Unbelievable service and integrity. My now wife and I had an incredibly wonderful experience at JD Auto Center this past weekend. We were on our way to our own wedding in NY when we noticed a strange sound coming from the engine. We happened to be next to JD when I decided to pull in to get gas and check under the hood. When I opened it up, I noticed a ton of shredded rubber around the engine. My wife asked one of the mechanics to take a look, and as it turns out a rat had gotten in to the engine and ended up tearing up the serpentine belt.Long story short, the guys had a lot full of cars to look at, but were so kind as to put us at the front of the line, order a new belt, and install it within an hour of us pulling in. Both father and son were so empathetic and kind towards us and helped us get safely to NY for our wedding ceremony. They didn't even want to accept a tip for the service! Thanks again guys, you saved our ceremony! Very highly recommended!Service: General repairs & maintenance
