I worked with BFM and Khalil to do a full body repaint on my Mercedes Benz 560 SL. My baby. This car had a lot of small cosmetic issues the painters and body mechanics did an outstanding job. The work was on time, with good communication, and on budget. The before and after does no quite do it justice but she looks great!

I just bought a bmw 5 series from khalil, and it was a refreshing experience to work with him after dealing with so many dishonest dealers and people, he went above and beyond to make sure the car was in great shape when I got it, replacing multiple parts and tires, setting me up really well and I m grateful.

Got repairs in 2022. Did a good job with a bumper/fender repair for a reasonable price. However, there was one part of the bumper that was supposed to be left dark grey and for whatever reason they just painted over the whole thing in silver. Seems a bit sloppy in my opinion.

Huge THANK YOU to Khalil and team for the great work they did on my car. I had an insurance claim and Khalil handled all of the communication with my insurance company and the adjuster. And my car. Wow! It looks brand new. I had some additional work done beyond what my insurance covered and the BFM team did an amazing job! All of the wheels were jacked up and I had a few scratches and dings. All totally gone.

I had a wonder experience with Brookline Foreign Motors. They helped me navigate a complicated insurance claim and did a fantastic job on body work and replacing my car starter. Brought my 2012 BMW 535 X Drive in for new tires, alignment, new wipers, and a check on what was causing a smoky smell when running the heat. I looked it up beforehand and suspected a leaky gasket, which Khalil confirmed. He found two leaks and offered to only repair the bigger one to save me some money on labor (the other one was deeper under the hood and would take more time to get to), but I opted to fix both as it was important to me to have the car running as well as possible mechanically. Nonetheless, I appreciated his effort to try to save me some money.I ended up also getting a color correction which made some big/deep scratches much less noticeable and car look great overall, as well as an oil change and oil filter change. Oh, and he also did my state inspection for me (talk about convenient).In summary:1. Prices were fair, not cheap (this is to be expected for a BMW)2. Work was done well (car is driving like a dream with the new tires and alignment)3. Work was done quickly (took about 3 days total)4. Khalil is a great guyI m not surprised at all that the overall rating on this place is 4.5 stars. I will continue to have my car maintained here and will recommend Brookline Foreign Motors to my friends and family.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

I had a wonderful experience at Brookline Foreign Motors. My windshield wipers were not functioning so I brought my car into the shop. Their team quickly identified a small issue, fixed it on the spot, and did not charge me for the small fix. They were very friendly and kind and I will look forward to returning in the future!

My story of car repairing at this shop started with a collision to my car parked and unattended on a street. Since this accident happened in a different city, I drove back to Boston and had it repaired here. Unfortunately, I had a hard time dealing with the insurance company to get an estimate sooner, then the shop owner jumped in and had a ton of calls with them on behalf of me. I finally get my car repaired within one week in stead of a few weeks. The repair job is done perfectly. Without the need to say more, I highly recommend this shop without any hesitation!

After someone backed into me from a diagonal parking space and badly scraped our right rear fender, my husband and I took our car to a Boston auto body shop that provided a rather steep quote and said they could not repair it for two weeks. My husband then did some research and found Brookline Foreign Motors, which was closer to home and able to start work on it in three days. Khalil was an absolute pleasure to work with and had it all done, as promised, two business days later. He said it would look good as new, and it did. The cost was about half of what the other place was going to charge. We will never again go anywhere else for auto body work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Khalil and the team at Brookline Foreign Motors are great! I've been taking my car here for years and they always do a good job. I had them repair some rust and do some mechanical work and the care came out like new. Definitely go here instead of one of the major national brands.

I'm an out of state driver and had an at-fault accident near Brookline Foreign Motors and Auto Body. My car was towed there and I received exceptional service from Khalil and his employees. My Subaru Crosstrek had serious front axle damage and moderate front door damage. It was restored to mint condition. The job was done quickly and Khalil worked well with my insurance company. I saw the full estimate and am somewhat knowledgeable in that area. It was honest, reasonable, and not padded in anyway. The vehicle was returned ahead of schedule. It was an excellent experience and helped me avoid a potential vacation nightmare. I highly recommend Khalil and his shop.

I ve used Brookline Foreign Motors multiple times for my car. I enjoyed dealing with the owner (front office) very much. He was very friendly and I felt comfortable trusting him when it came to my repairs as well as the price. They changed my break discs and pads very quickly. I was also involved in an accident and I brought my car to them and they did an amazing job. They dealt with my insurance company over the cost of the repairs and repaired my car perfectly, and in a very timely manner. They also detailed my car for me before I picked it up which was very nice since it was not clean when I dropped it off. (Car type: Jaguar)Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Brakes

Absolutely trash! DO NOT GO HERE! Zero stars!I went to this shop because I had my battery malfunction light. He said he would do diagnostic on it and let me know. After that he called me there is an issue with an alternator and if I want to get it fixed I'll need to pay 990 for used or 1450 for new one. When I asked, if don't want to that and get second opinion, he charged me 220 dollars for diagnostic, believe he just wants your money and doesn't care about service and all. I had a service contract within which I wouldn't have to pay for the alternator cost, for which he said he doesn't want to get into the hassle of calling the company, again just wants your money(i didnt see any board mentioning they dont work with insurance or contract). Not to mention, the guy has a terrible attitude problem.I went to pep boys and the same diagnostic that this guys did they did it for 16 dollarsSecondly, when I got my car after paying 220, there was black grease on my door handle and the trunks battery section was opened, it wasn't even cleaned. Just. Terrible service.Do not waste your money or either try to talk to this man.Good luck BFM, Keep exploiting people for money!Updates to my status: I went to BMW dealer after taking to pep boys just to confirm, and guess what, alternator was just fine, it was just an issue of driver belt, this guy almost sold me $1000 worth of alternator for nothing! AND please don't lie, I have my friend as a witness that you straightway lied to my face that you wont take insurance or service contract!SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE AND DONT DO YOUR BUSINESS HERE!

I had my bumper and tail light replaced at Brookline Foreign Motors after I was rear ended. Khalil estimated 2 weeks to do the repair, but the job was completed in a week! The work was done perfectly and the car was returned in pristine condition. Excellent service from beginning to end. Khalil and his crew did a great job on my car that basically was side swiped. It was a mess but they did such excellent work that car looked brand new even got asked by friends if I got a new car. I appreciated their effort and detail. They even removed some paint that I didn t know how to get off on another part of my car unrelated to the accident but because they care about the detail they cleaned it. It was above and beyond what I expected. Happen to need them again now and am doing it with full trust as they did such a wonderful job last time.

Brookline Foreign Motors did an incredible job doing body work on my Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. They did extremely high-quality work, turned the car around in 2 days, were very fair on pricing and working to cut down on costs and the customer service was very good. No need to go anywhere else if you live in the Boston area. Would go back for any auto body/repair work.Service: Body & Trim

I first brought my car to Brookline Foreign Motors a year or so ago to get some cosmetic work done on the hood and on the roof; 2007 Toyota Avalon Ltd. When I got my car back it just seemed to me that in addition to wonderful work done to the requested areas, these folks detailed the inside and touched up some outside areas of the car as well. It just looked way better all over than just the areas quoted.This spring I got rear-ended twice within a month's time. Both sets of repairs I brought here to Brookline Foreign Motors. The fit and finish and timing of the repairs was on point!It seems to me that these folks here are into the science and tech of auto repair as well being fans of the art of both automobile preservation and customer careServices: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

Khalil and the team at Brookline Foreign Motors fixed up my car after a fender bender and did so perfectly. The repair was done quickly and professionally. Even after finding one minor thing that was still unfixed on the car, they didn t hesitate to take a look at the car again and fix it for good. I d highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Firstly, I want to apologize to the man that runs this shop, he is incredibly amicable, honest, and knowledgeable. I have an LR4 whose frame broke and he was honest about the procedure to repair the car and honest about his perception of the safety of the vehicle I have anxiety and hearing things that are really intense just triggers an awful response. So. I am very very sorry for acting the way I did. SECONDLY, this shop was able to diagnose my shop within the day, provide us with options for repair, and suggestions about the safety and driveability of the car after repair. I was in a car accident recently and needed body repair and happened to google search and find Bookline Foreign Motors. From the first communication to the pick up of the car, Bookline Foreign Motors was the best autobody shop I've ever used in my 26 years of car ownership. They were extremely professional, courteous, responsive and provided exceptional results. The entire passenger side of my car was damaged from a person "dooring" my car and Brookline Foreign Motors returned my car days before their initial promised date of return in an A+++ condition. I am an owner of a Mercedes CLA 250 and recently my car was involved in a collision such that the entire rear panel on one side sustained significant damage. Mercedes Benz recommended that I get my car fixed with the Prime collision centre at West Roxbury. However, the folks at the Prime Collision Centre estimated that the repair period may last well over 6 weeks considering the damage and scarcity of parts due to covid related issues. Thats when I decided to take my chances with an auto shop close to my home, which is when I called Brookline Foreign Motors. I introduced myself to Kalil, who oversees the auto shop. Kalil carefully examined my car and the damages it had sustained and he confidently assured me that he would be able to fix it completely within 3 weeks! I was really surprised by the ans but I let him have my car and start work. What was stunning was he and his team was able to fix my car completely within two weeks! My car came back to me almost in brand new condition and Kalil was so sweet that he even cleaned my car inside out for no extra charge!! I am absolutely impressed beyond words by Kalil's professional response and quality of work and the care with which my car was taken care of! I whole heartedly recommend Brookline Foreign Motors without any reservation! This auto shop is a rare Gem in Brookline.Service: Body & Trim

A reliable business with quality work. In my experience, the owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. Khalil has worked on my transmission, engine, and brakes, and each time he clearly told me what the issue was and laid out options of varying cost alongside his recommendation (ex: replacement parts sourced from different OEMs which had different warranties). I never felt like his recommendations were unfounded, but also never felt pressured to take the highest cost option. Service was punctual with quick turnaround. Received updates at various stages of the work. Price is quite reasonable considering that you get what you pay for, but don t expect the lowest offer in town. We had a "fender-bender" on our BMW X7 and since we were looking for a foreign motor specialist with whom we could work with after our warranty expires, we chose Brookline Foreign Motors. We wanted better service quality and more flexibility in service dates than the regular body shops that the dealerships send you to for overpriced services. We connected Brookline Foreign Motors with our insurance company and everything went very smooth from there on. The insurance agent visited the car, the shop made an estimate and the situation was cured. The car was ready before scheduled and DETAILED (!). I am glad that I trusted Brookline Foreign Motors with our car, the wife is very happy with the service and professionalism she encountered during the service process. So i was looking into a place to get my bumper repaired, and found Brookline Foreign Motors, and so glad that I did!Service was great, they were very accommodating, and even went above and beyond in terms of repair and customer service, and without Khalil in particular I would have been charged extra hundreds of dollars from an insurance company who was trying to turn one claim into two.I highly recommend BFM to anyone in the metro Boston area.Service: Body & Trim

Based on mostly favorable reviews, I brought my vintage 2000 VW Cabrio (only 74k miles) in to have the front brakes repaired. On my way home from picking up the car the following day, I noticed a rattling sound on the front passenger side. Being busy, I made an appointment to bring it in about 1- 1/2 weeks later. In the interim, one day I put the car in gear and the back brakes seized up. I was able to drive it, but if I put much pressure on the brake pedal, the rear brakes made a terrible, loud, scraping sound. When I made it to the follow up appointment, I was told that the rear calipers need to be replaced.First, when they had the car in before, they should have checked the rear brakes. Another $500 dollars later, driving home after the second appointment, the rattle from the front brake repair was still there! When I called to complain, I was basically told that's what I should expect for an old car.Weeks later, if the car sits for more than a few days at a time (not uncommon during a pandemic) the rear brakes stick and I now get a scraping sound from the front brakes. I spent a total of $1,400 dollars on brake repairs, and still have issues with the brakes. They charged me a fortune and did a terrible job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Brookline Foreign Motors.Service: Brakes

I needed to have my brakes and rotors repaired and they overcharged me way too much for the repair, totaling near $1800. On top of that I had to bring the vehicle back a couple days later because another issue had arisen and said it would cost over $3000. The place may be clean and reliable for foreign cars but when it comes to pricing, they will get you.Service: Brakes

The starter on our 2010 Range Rover went out on a Thursday. We called the dealer who didn't have an appointment until the following month, 3.5 weeks. Found BFM on Google and called them. The manager, Khaleel (spelling?) said bring it in anytime. We had it towed in that afternoon. An hour later, he calls us, says will be ready next day. I was thrilled but a little skeptical, seemed quick.Sure enough, K cals us next afternoon, says it's ready, just needs to wash it. When we got there, he walked us through everything they had done, showing us the new starter and where a small oil leak had started. He didn't try to talk us into fixing it right then and there, just to be aware of it.K went through the bill, breaking down parts, labor, etc. It was the most thorough a mechanic has ever been with us. As far as washing the car, that was an understatement. It looked like it had been detailed. It was immaculate inside and out. Wheels had been cleaned, Armour All on tires, etc. We're relatively new to Brookline, just arriving from out of state. One thing we're very happy about, we've found a mechanic that we trust. The way they went over every little detail before and after the work, cleaned the car, etc., it was really appreciated. I write very few reviews but these guys deserve one.
