The worst experience i had in my entire life very bad customer service from the owner he was very racist and vulgar. He spits on me and treated me so bad call me different names and bad words . I would never recommend someone to go there .

Needed a last minute oil change and these guys were able to squeeze me in. Also asked them to look at my break pads because there was some squeaking, figured I needed to replace the break pads. The oil change was done quick and they said there was just a rock stuck between the rotor and thats why there was a squeaking sound! They even topped off my coolant which was a little low. These guys are great!

At Planet petroleum you are greeted like family. Always a . I haven't found another garage I trust with my cars. Prices are great!. Always done professionally and on or before quoted timeline. I highly recommend you check them out.

Let's be real. Having an unexpected mechanical issue can throw off your entire day and sometimes week. My 2nd trip to Planet Petroleum was just as good as the first. During a rainy New England day, my window on my 12 year old car didn't go back up. Yup.. perfect timing. I was panicking trying to think of best place to fix this problem. I remember that Jacob and LaChance were just around the corner and across the street from my work. If I was gonna have to make room for this, it might as well be convenient. I would recommend them for repair service and/or gas. They have made a stressful situation manageable. Thanks Guys!

This is officially the worst mechanic in Brockton. The service used to be good when the old man was there, they have the son running it and he does not know what he us doing. I have had to return forthe same issue 5 times. They absolutely do not know what they are doing. Terrible.. I cannot advise anyone to go there. They deserve no stars whatsoever.

On the morning of June 14, 2019, I left my car with the mechanic at Planet Petroleum in for repair of the air conditioning in my vehicle, as scheduled. I picked my vehicle up at the end of the work day, and paid my bill of $550 in full. To access the air compressor they replaced, the shop needed to remove the engine shield from the underside of my vehicle. Within 10 minutes of driving away from the shop, the engine shield fell off while driving on the highway. Being a busy highway, it was too dangerous to attempt to retrieve this piece of my car. I immediately called Planet Petroleum and made them aware of the problem. I also made them aware that the air conditioning they had just fixed seemed marginally cool at best, and was ineffective in adequately cooling down my vehicle when in use. I was told to bring my car back the morning of 6/19/19 for them to make the repair. I did as requested, but by the end of the day they had still not made the repair. The shop then told me to bring it back the following day on 6/20/19. My car was left there all day and again was not repaired. Over the course of the following 3 weeks, I was provided 6 different dates that my car would supposedly be able to be fixed, before they finally attempted a repair on my vehicle. Planet Petroleum said the engine shield was "difficult to find". However, I had called the dealer myself and was assured it was readily available from them. On 7/3/19 I left my car with the mechanic again and at the end of the day was told I was "all set". After looking under my car to examine the repair, I found that they had not used a new part, as they claimed. Instead, I found a torn up, broken, cracked component, with pieces of it missing/ripped off. In addition, they had not fastened it to my car with push pin rivets as it is intended to be secured. Instead, the shop had used about a dozen carpentry wood screws to screw the engine shield directly to the body of my car, making it impossible to be easily removed for any future work on my car. In addition, once removed, it will not be able to be reapplied in the same way as the holes they created in my car will become too loose to hold anything. Beyond this, the shield is attached in such a way that it hangs down low to the ground and will surely get caught and tear off the very first time something catches it. Further, upon collecting my vehicle, I found the front fender well liner on the passenger side of my vehicle is no longer attached. In attempting to fasten the engine shield, the mechanic broke/detached this piece and it now hangs down, making it ineffective in its purpose, in addition to being aesthetically unattractive. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the air conditioning in my vehicle remains ineffective in keeping the vehicle at a comfortable temperature. I have lost all faith in Planet Petroleum. I paid for a repair that was not made to any reasonable persons expectations. My car was put back together improperly causing a large piece to fall off. And, when attempting to repair said piece, Planet Petroleum created further damage to my car. I have spent $550 and my car still has no functional air conditioning, many drill holes in it from an improper repair job, an engine shield that will become useless to me once it is removed for more work on my car, and body damage to the fender and wheel well liner.

Unprofessional I had to bring my car back multiple times for the same issue and the guy started threatening me when I flipped out. Do not go to this place.
