Not long ago I took my car for state inspection at this location, but it unexpectedly failed due to a front-end issue, which seemed odd for a new car. The mechanic and the other guy insisted on keeping my car for repairs, but I declined as I have a trusted mechanic. They became really rude and insistent, claiming I'd waste my time elsewhere. However, my mechanic found nothing wrong. I eventually took my car to another inspection center (since my mechanic doesn't handle state inspections), and it passed without any issues. It's disheartening to think about how many others might have been taken advantage of without seeking a second opinion.Note: Just checked the other reviews and a few friends, and I'm not the only one who has experienced the same situation at this place. I recommend avoiding it.

Humiliation, I was his client for two years and today I was humiliated by him because my English is not good. He mocked and laughed at me thinking I didn't fully understand what he was saying to the other client he was attending. It was cruel and humiliating what I went through in that place today!

Been going there for years. They knew us well and were always so nice. We changed bank accounts and accidentally wrote a check with our old check book.He called the police and we went in to repay. He started yelling and so we gave him an extra for an apology $50 and he took it and shut right up.Just disappointed after our long relationship he jumped to the conclusion that we purposely wrote a bad check. And with all the religious stuff on the wall you would think he would be better than that and give us the benefit of the doubt. Or apologize. That's not someone I want to do business with. True colors came out.

Amazing staff always ready to help anyone. Very good mechanics, they can fix anything. If you need a sticker usually very quick in and out. Whomever said they steal couldn't be more wrong. They do everything by the book and go above and beyond. I've also been going there for over 20 years.

The gentlemen that work here truly know how to make your day. So handsome and professional. They smell delightful- like sweet hot chai tea. Love lucky star for cheap gas and to grab a pack of cigarettes for the whole family. I hope they stick around. A tried and true Bridgewater staple.

I went there after a friend told me they were a honest fair repair shop. This was my second time being quoted double the cost to replace the part. Not including labor.Also the customer service is extremely poor. Never again. Shop around my advice. Totally disappointed! There not about taking care of people only there wallet in my experience.

It's usually quite sketchy when I go here. I mean the first time I went, I gave the guy a 10 and a 20, asking to fill it up to $25, and he forgot I gave him a 10. He begrudgingly handed me my $5 in change while seemingly believing I was scamming him somehow. This most recent time I ask them to fill up my tank and I see it stop at $33.62. Then after a bit I see it's at $34 exactly. I don't know if he filled it into the vapor hose after it automatically stopped or if they rounded it up without asking me but either way it's not right.The prices usually aren't terrible but I'm not sure it's honestly worth it.

Fred is great. Always remembers me and always asks about my family. The service is also great. A family run business that is honest and hard working.

Gas is priced right and is usually pumped for you by a member of the owners family. They are friendly, not just to the driver but also to any kids or pets that are with you. We've trusted Lucky Star to maintain our cars for years. They do inspection stickers too.

Furious!! I dropped my car off at 830 this morning for an oil change and for them to look at my horn that was not working. I left my phone number and asked for a call with a price when they figured it out. I never signed anything. I called at 12, it was not done. I told them I needed it by 4 and they said they will call. 350, no call so I called them. The owner took it upon himself to fix it without calling me. He said it was an electrical issue and needed to be done. They didnt even do my oil change!! When I go to pick up my card the owner said fine, I will charge you $85 and take my horn back? Then walked away calling me names under his breath. I am so outraged

This is a wonderful full-service gas station. The owner frequently pumps the gas and he's incredibly friendly and always smiling. The prices here are always ultra-competative as well. I also have had my car inspected here. In and out, super honest and efficient.

They pump your gas! One of the few places around that still do it for you. Nice people, and twice they've caught that my inspection sticker was overdue when I hadn't noticed.

Scam alert! Brought car in for inspection, failed for front end issues that do not exist and verified by other mechanics. Potentially costing me $$. Very rude.

I've been to this place a few times, normally for inspections and oil changes. Always a good experience. Any issues I've had were always taken care of, in one case even got a replacement part installed completely free, that was about a week over the warranty period.

What's to say its a gas station , actually prices are about one of the cheapest around.. yhe owner and I think it's his son are really nice people, always great attitudes and make you believe they appreciate your business ,,, big thumbs up

I've been going to this place since I was 15yrs old. The owner is a very nice person and every employee knows me bc I go in so often. They are all great people and are very friendly!! Will always go here my favorite gas station and store for cigs and scratch tickets!

I got expired m&ms from here. The "gentle" vendor refused to return it! I asked him to check the box if the rest are also expired and he found them all expired too! I'm an international student I don't know much about the regulations here. But if this happened in my country the shop would be closed and the vendor with the owner would be jailed!

I just left this place. I went in for an inspection sticker. Newer car so everything checked out. With all of this pollen, I must have just ran out of washer fluid. This guy doing the inspection rudely pointed it out. He could have just mentioned it and no big deal. Because he was rude, I told him I have some at home (which I do). He then says, "That's what everyone says, I have some at home". The guy was lucky I didn't react the way I wanted to. I then rubbed my finger down the car and showed him the large amount of pollen and I told him, this is why people run out and this is why they have some at home. I told him to either flunk the inspection or pass it, I don't care anymore. If I stayed there another minute, someone would have gone to jail. This guy was a complete nightmare. Buddy, you're not a cop, it's an auto inspection. I won't buy a piece of gum from that place and I'll let everyone I know what a rude, unprofessional jerk this guy is.

NEVER OPEN!!!!Online says they're open until 9-10 . If you call they say they're open until 8.DRIVING THERE AT 7:26 LITERALLY 7:26 and they are CLOSED. NOT OPEN ,CLOSED! . What's the point of telling your customers that your open when you are not. Very very inconvenient!!!!!

They did my brakes they said they had to replace my caliper because it was badly rusted when I got there he showed me a rotor and said it was my caliper when I went to take my tires off the next time the lug nuts were on so tight I had to put all of my weight (200lbs) onto a 2 foot breaker bar which equals 400 lbs of force the recommended torque is 80 ftlbs

Great service, always friendly... did a great job patching up my car when I hit something on the highway ... always get my oil changes and inspections dine here!

The only place in bridgewater that I know of that sells fronto king ! Awesome seems like family owned business. They're always gracious for your business, and I'm always gracious they've got fronto for ya boy !!!!

Lucky Star is staffed with honest hardworking men, sad to say I moved away but I wouldn t bring my car anywhere else! 10/10 service always
