Unfortunately, if you have an accident, they will come to steal the car. It is the ugliest car transport company. They are very rude. They do not contact you and do not inform you about the car. They charge you double money every day and exaggerated prices in order to steal the car. They are thieves and a gang. Beware of dealing with them.

Assume if A1 Towing handles your car you'll receive it back with damage., in my case, over $1,600 worth. Also assume, when the damage is noticed and you call multiple times to speak with the owner that he won't call back, which he didn't. You have one job and that's to tow a car safely and store it on your grounds. Glad A1 takes on the additional responsibility of destroying something that doesn't belong to them, as confirmed by the police.

AAA pulled a no show when called to tow our vehicle. A1 took my middle of the night phone call and immediately provided us with a tow. Mark fixed the vehicle for us. He was so helpful, calling us along the way to explain what was going on. I highly recommend and will continue to use their services in the future.

If there was a NO STAR, this would have been it.The worst of customer service by a rude person on the phone, yelling swearing, calling customers names.She need to know she is representing a business.She admitted they do not have Atlas for RMV verification of insurance to release a towed vehicle. I asked her what she will need to get my customer's car out. She wants proof of insurance. Do you need an Insurance ID? Binder? Dec Page? She doesn't have a clue, instead kept yelling 'I need proof of insurance'. You are lucky you probably work for your family; No one in their right mind will hire a person like this for work.The very worst!!!!!

My car was towed due to accident and A1 was the company that towed. I needed to get to the lot to pick up my belongings. I was less than pleasant went I went into office. Did not matter to them. They still treated me with kindness and respect. I was pleased to know that they had found my wallet in the car and very kindly placed it in glove box. What a relief.Here is another thing that spoke volumes to me. They have a sign to drive slow as to watch for birds. How nice is that. Further more, I was talking to an employee about and by chance was able to see the birds they were watching out for.Anyhow, being in an accident is challenging enough. To have this positive experience made a difficult situation less difficult.

We bought my daughters first car here. Very easy to deal with and reasonable prices. There ended up being an issue with somePaper work and Kyle went way above and beyond to rectify the issue without it causing us any hassle. To show their appreciation for our understanding they took the car for the sticker, realized the ac wasn t Working correctly and fixed it free of charge. A few weeks later had another very minor issue, and to our surprise they took care of that as well. Would recommend to anyone for buying a used car and having mechanical work done as well. Will certainly be a returning customer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Air conditioning

I m all for supporting businesses but I just can t let this slide.This company has absolutely no integrity. Probably the worst customer service I ve ever experienced. Very rude people. My car was impounded due to an expired registration. I was told by the company that the only way I could get the car was by being the registered owner of the vehicle, or under the insurance. I was on neither. My aunt who stays in a complete other state registered it for me. She s a travel nurse.I asked if I could give them a notarized letter from my aunt(registered owner) authorizing me to have the vehicle removed from their lot as to avoid the $35 they charge you a day just for the car being there. I was told they wouldn t accept. 3 weeks later, I m still unable to get the car registered under my name so I spoke to the state police who had my car towed in the first place. i was told A1 would accept a notarized letter.When I went to give them the letter I made it clear that I had asked if they could accept the very same letter 3 weeks prior and was told no. The lady that told me no said she would never say that. I mean, why would I want my car to stay there in the first place? Of course i asked about the letter seeing as though the that is the ONLY alternative that could work in my favor. Now they charged me over $1000 just for my car being there. And they even charge you to have the vehicle towed out! The address on my license is in providence, but I live in Taunton. They wouldn t tow it to Taunton because it s not an address listed on my license.I had a horrible experience with them and I truly wouldn t recommend them to anybody! They re wrong and are looking for ways to make money off you by all means. It s actually very sad , and I know I m not the only person that has had such a rip off experience with them. They carry themselves as if they have no care for the people they re dealing with. They just want your money. What a scam!

I ve had to get my vehicles towed a few times. I do have AAA, and these guys r always the ones to respond. They r always careful and helpful around my schedule. Highly recommend them

My 2 friends and I got a flat tire and we had to call Triple A and Triple A sent over A1 Affordable. They took over an hour to get to us and the guy Steven decided it was a great idea to bring a girl with him. Steven was a skinny guy, young, with glasses. Meanwhile, they drove by us while we were waiting for them and then it took them another 45 minutes to get to us. When he got there he whipped into the parking lot and did not even tell us anything he didn t tell us how to drive with the donut. I will never be using this company again.

I was in an accident and A1 Affordable towing took my vehicle to thier lot. I had some expensive camera equipment Abe a laptop still in the vehicle. Went to go and get the things out of the truck the next day. I was fearing that my equipment might not be there. The truck was in a gated lot and to my pleasant surprise it was all there and these people were so thorough they even put sticky plastic film all over the broken windows to keep the interior safe & dry! Didn't catch the woman's name who was at the desk but she was nice & friendly. Plenty of parking. Watch out for the entrance, it has a weird curb that you need to go around.

I was connected to A1 Affordable through my insurance (Allstate) for a tow. A1 didn t properly refuse the service on their end, and I was waiting (in my broken down, cold car) for several hours waiting for their estimated arrival time to come. When it came and went I gave them a call to get a status check. I was rudely informed that they didn t accept my offer because they re moving away from working with Allstate. Instead of notifying me, the customer, that they did want to tow me, they just ignored the pending agreement. They still refused to help even at this point. A simple phone call hours prior would have been the right choice.

A1 was great! They came fast, the kid driving the tow truck was professional and the price of the tow was reasonable. Will definitely call them again if I'm in the area and have car issues!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM WOMAN AT DESK. I was ons-it IN person at the office and every time the phone rang she would say "1 second" and told me to hold while she spoke on the phone. DO WHAT EVER YOU CAN TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

The tow is good but the people there are SO RUDE. I called them in the morning and asked if they had my car and he responded with "its 8am I have no idea. Call later." You're open 24 hours and when I got there you knew exactly which cars were towed that night. Not a single smile there, awful attitude towards me and I wasnt even mad at them!!! I didnt yell or even complain about being towed. I will change my review when they change their customer service.

Anytime I need to have services done on my car, they get me right in and are so quick and actually EXPLAIN the problem and what they did. The woman at the front (sorry i don't know her name- I just see her there every time I'm there) she is funny and really outgoing; making the wait go by much faster. The people that work there make the company and they're way of dealing with customers is phenomenal; and I can't even tell you the how good the prices are!! Typically I'm so hesitant that I'm getting ripped off, but with them I NEVER have to even question prices or anything- they're honest, and VERY knowledgeable. I would and have recommended to them for anyone I know that's having car issues -- even a simple oil change. GO HERE!!!! You absolutely won't regret it! :)

This place is by far the worse place I ve dealt in ALL my years of driving. It s like dealing with children on the phone ,horrible attitudes, definite lack of people skills. When problems occurred and I simply asked for names Ms. Anita REFUSED to share drivers name and information on supposed complaint. LEFT US WITH NO TOW not my problem and said we d have to call back in the morning. THANK YOU AFFORABLE TOWING now we know why your so affordable with your lack of skills all around even leaving this one star is too good for them so with that being said don t waste your time

Horrible, I called to get a tow at 9:45pm, I was told 15 minutes. I waited an hour before calling back. When I spoke to them again they said it was weird I wasn't picked up yet. They told me that they'd call the driver and have me call him. 2 minutes later the driver calls me and asks me where I am and tells me he is a town away(mind you I'm down the street from their garage). He asks if I'm south of him! Don't they have GPS, what!? He says he'll be here in 15. I waited another 30 minutes before I called and canceled. Next thing the driver calls back apologizing saying he's on the street. Rolls up and tries to tell me he wasn't sure where he was etc. I told him I was all set, said I had doubts after reading the Google reviews on them while I waited. I then let him go and called another tow company. Trust what people are writing if they are taking the time here. THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I CANCELLED AND GOT A DIFFERENT TOW SERVICE, DONT CHOOSE THEM!!!

I have used this shop several times, and I trust their experience, knowledge and repairs. John has always been patient with me explaining the vehicles issues and cost. A1 does clean work and won't try to sell you on other repairs that may not be needed. This shop is upfront and straight forward. It's not easy finding a shop that you can trust, but A1 is one of them.

Had a car I bought towed and repaired. Needed a clutch. Took three weeks to get it back. Couldn't get straight answers on the phone. Finally get the car and the speedometer doesn't work. 6 months later and hear a noise in my car and I bring it to a garage and they informed me that will ever put in my clutch didn't install it properly and now I need a new clutch. Problem is if I bring it back here I'll have to wait another 3 weeks to get my car back. Do yourself a favor and never get your car repaired here. All they're good for is a tow.

Their driver Andy is extremely unprofessional and a dangerous driver. He almost caused an accident with me in a parking lot due to negligent operation. He started cussing and acting very aggressively towards me, at one point clenching a fist while baiting me to fight him, all in front of his customer. As a commercial truck driver myself that is absolutely no way to act. This man has no business operating a 20,000lbs+ vehicle with a viscous temper like that. John the owner was very quick to contact me regarding the situation and was very professional and apologetic.

Thieves. My son got towed on a Friday. They didn't answer the phone all day Saturday or Sunday, then had the nerve to charge him 3 days storage when he picked up the car on Monday. Weekend scam!!! Lousy attitude about it too. "I don't know what to tell you, that's the price." And that was from the owner. Next time we'll push the car home!!!

ok living in Bridgewater for 7 years used A1 Affordable twice for the 1st time called about a tow from Taunton to Bridgewater dispatch person was very helpful letting me know he a had a truck in Taunton now can pick up now, driver picked up vehicle without me there brought to Bridgewater location no problems. My truck broke down 9/7/19 in my driveway called A1 Affordable again explained my problem got a quote had truck towed to shop. I let shop know what I wanted done (fuel pump) recieved a call from Mark the mechanic informed me of problem i agreed i have vehicle knowledge work was done in a timely manner, i am satisfied with the work done ! no RUDE people wow (generation gap read reviews) get a grip will go back. only grip is getting charged for towing when same company is repairing vehicle ($65 tow $1.000 repair) lived less then a mile away i walked to shop to get truck.

I'm not surprised to see such terrible reviews for this place as I experienced for myself that the service here sucks!! I came in to get 2 tires replaced. The charge was about $170. I had been the only car there at the time getting work. The workers did not care. They ordered food, and took their time as if I wasn't in the waiting room for 2 hours The front desk lady is rude!

One of their dope truck divers was tailgating me all down Route 104 in Bridgewater, weaving in and out of lanes, all up onto Route 24. Very dangerous driver, the company should look harder into who they are hiring.

I never leave bad reviews but if I could leave 1 star, I would. Terrible customer service... the lady who answers the phone is so rude, inconsiderate and impatient. Do not waste your time or money, dealing with someone who can't even give you respect! Never again

Tried calling several times to have a car towed. Says 24hr service but no one answers the phone and they don't have a voice-mail setup to leave a message. So annoying now I need to find a more reliable tow company

This place sucks, horrible service , had me wait an hour the first day , blew me off , the next day they had me wait an hour and a half , dont return calls, hangs up on me and disrespectful on the phone. all they want is to take your money and keep your car there longer because they wish theyd done something else better with their lives. please use any other place. in the long run the more money you pay for someone else to tow it would be helping you save money compared to these ignorant , irresponsible, low quality "affordable business owners"

Dealt with them a few times for towing and have their insurance ....always reliable and pleasant ...they even helped when i had two other people in the car.
