Best guys ever! My car broke down for the first time ever when I was 2 hours from home. They fixed it fast and were super kind and wonderful for the entire time my car was in their care! I have nothing but lovely things to say!

Wow, just wow! J T Auto in Braintree is the real deal. The service? Amazing, top-notch, you name it. These folks know their stuff and they deliver high-quality work every time. Even though I live an hour away, I'd make the trip again in a heartbeat. Can't beat that kind of service and expertise. Definitely my go-to from now on.

I was referred to JT Auto by a family member this was my first time there and it won't be my last. I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done to my car. I will GLADLY recommend JT Auto to anyone that is looking for a mechanic.

On November 15th 2022, my Jeep rolled in with a busted brake line. After initial diagnostic, they said my line was badly rotted and needed to be replaced, which they said they could do for only $300. I agreed and later that afternoon it was fixed. I was told the line was fixed but my car needed other repairs. I thanked them, payed the $300 and left. I had intended to bring them further business due to the low cost and speedy repair. Little did I know that the low cost and speed was an indication of the kind of service they were performing. Now, five months later my brake lines blew again. Come to find out the mechanic cut out the section of the BADLY ROTTED brake line that burst and replaced it with new line, but left the rest of the BADLY ROTTED line, splicing them together with an illegal compressor. I only found that out after having another mechanic investigate why the brakes went out again. Instead of a few hundred in maintenance and repairs, I'm about to spend thousands looking for a new car. I thought I could trust this shop and it nearly got me killed and cost me thousands.Service: Brakes

I have a 2015 toyota that never gave me any trouble until this year. The engine would occasionally shut off when I came to a stop and sometimes wouldn't restart. I took my car to toyota dealership, they worked on it for 2 weeks and couldn't figure out the issue. They still charge me a whole bunch of money and told me to come pick up the car. One advisor told me to buy a new car.I took my car to JT Auto in Braintree. They were able to diagnose the issue in 2 days, and fixed the car on day 3. It's been over 3 months since they fix my car, no issues. These guys are amazing. Been having my car serviced by JTs for a number of years. Everything from normal oil changes (pro tip: show up without an appointment at 8am and you will be out in 30 mins!) to "major" work (struts, engine work, etc) and have never been disappointed. Honest, thorough, friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

We took our car to J T Auto with electrical issues and have nothing but good things to say. John was wonderfully pleasant and patient when we provided him information over the phone. Tim is an electrical genius and found the issue very efficiently. They provided us with a detailed account of the work completed, giving us a great deal of confidence that the car was safe to take home. We appreciate the great service and would recommend J T Auto to others.

JT Auto is the best! My lack of knowledge about the mechanical aspects of cars is embarrassing. It also makes me an easy target for being taken advantage of by anyone fixing my car. So when I come across a shop that's extremely honest, efficient and reliable, I definitely have to write a review!The mechanics who work here are very trustworthy and can basically fix anything and everything.I had a bunch of issues with my car and Joe fixed everything. I was completely and totally satisfied and happy. He also explained everything in a way that I could understand and put me at ease.There are very few businesses out there that genuinely care about their customers. JT Auto truly cares about providing their customers and their cars with the best service. As for the reviews that complain about how their cars weren't able to be worked on because of how busy they are - it only speaks to the high quality of work that JT Auto does - when people find a great and honest place to get their cars serviced and fixed - they stick with it. So it makes sense, that they'd be busy.I highly recommend JT Auto!!!

I took my car to another garage, I was told to need repairing this and that, Blah, blah, it would cost me 4~5 grands. I brought my car to J.T Auto, very quickly diagnosed the problem, change the passenger rear side wheel bearing. It costed me $450.0 Now it runs quietly and smoothly. Great service. My car had an oil leak and they systematically went through all potential sources, diagnosed it properly and solved the problem. And they did not charge me for all the extra time they put into fixing the issue (which originated at some other place which I use no more !).

If you are looking for a mechanic, look no further than JT Auto. I give them my unreserved recommendation, based on my last few years of going there. I had a family mechanic who retired, and dreaded finding a replacement. Turns out the closest place to me was the solution all along.

It is the place to go ! They fixed two of my cars who got misdiagnosed by Nissan dealership and another chain garage... there was no hesitation to come up with solutions and make sure problem was solved . Other garage I went to couldn t even find the Pb and JT found it the same day ! We highly recommend this place and will be back ! Thank you

2 reasons why I go there. Fair and honest. My car had a humming noise and they took the time to diagnose where it was coming from, it turned out the previous mechanic didn't change the oil filter. And they just changed the oil and filter for me. They could have charged me more or said it was something else

Honest, good guys! On multiple occasions they have presented a lower cost option or explained that I didn't need the work done. We consider ourselves very fortunate that they moved to the Braintree location.
