My father brought his 2010 Subaru Forester to have the engine swapped. Quote for labor was fair which was $1500. Even though it took them couple weeks longer that I was initially told to have the car ready I was fine with that as long as they did the right job.My father bought a used engine at Terryville Auto parts in CT for about $3k and dropped the engine along with the vehicle at the service to have it swapped. I took photos of the engine we bought in case they don t fit that engine in the car, and i was right in doing that! THEY DID NOT SWAP THE ENGINE WE BOUGHT INTO THE CAR! Instead they just fixed the old engine and told us that the engine has been swapped and the car is ready. After comparing the pictures i took of the engine my father bought we concluded that the engine has not been swapped. After i call the service and telling them that they did not swap the engine and showing them the pictures, they told me that we sent the car to someone else to do it because we were busy, saying that the other person might have done something to it. After that i told them i want my car with the engine we bought and believe it or not the engine we bought was sitting at the service at 8am of the next day, being told that the person who did your car brought it in the morning(lies). They finally swapped the engine but if i didn t have the pictures i took to proof it I would ve lost $5000 and my car would still have the same problems it had before.I am also posting pictures showing the difference of the two engines as you can see by different serial numbers close to the 3 holes if you zoom in.

Went in for basic maintenance. Making the appointment was easy. Communication was good making sure they had the exact parts I wanted. I was serviced at the exact time of my appointment. Al and his staff were friendly. Needed lowering springs installed on my Civic Hatchback. Called Al and he gave a good price and installed them 2 days later! Friendly service and very knowledgeable. 100% recommend to anyone needing any vehicle modifications!!

Last Friday was picking my girlfriend up from the airport and started having issues with my vehicle. We pulled over gotta hotel and started calling around in the morning to try and get help to get it fixed. I finally called auto clinic of braintree and spoke to the said bringing in we're gonna take care of. I dropped it off let me get a coffee at the Dunkin' next door came back and it was done he only charged me $20 to replace the part that I had supplied. So I'm going back to him this weekend for some maintenance issues. Thanks allot guys you saved my weekend.

Al and his crew are the best. From simple repairs to full engine swaps they do the best work. The great thing is that all of the mechanics are real car guys and their abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm is so helpful and really gives a peace of mind when they're on the job.

2010 Dodge caliberVehicle needed alot. He's a dealership. Vehicle needs stabilizer - (30$) said that is won't pass Inspection like that. And that he wouldn't fix it so it does - brake light and reverse light out - very dirty car - by law he needs to make it pass Inspection and Said that it wouldn't be his job to do it. Car was filthy inside. I don't trust this dealership. I buy cars all the time and wouldn't recommend them.

Have taken my 2 cars on different occasions from lowering springs install, oil change and break jobs. These guys do good work, fast and at a good price. Plus their personality being so people friendly goes a long way.

I had an engine swap and new downpipes installed and they are 100% the best mechanics I've had, I'll most definitely be taking my car back there any time I have an issue or if I need any mods installed. One of the best things about them is that they are legit car guys, they're not just there doing a job. I have a 2014 Camaro and they did a phenomenal job with the whole job and I cant say enough. Great value and price even for working on luxury cars. They are professionals with experience and it shows. Henry took the time to explain the issue, the options, and even showed me what needed to be repaired. You can trust them with your vehicle. Highly recommend.

I would like to say that I am extremely pleased with the work that was done to my car. I have a 2012 jeep liberty brought it in for a tune up and an oil change and the work that was done exceeded all of my expectations. Al (who I believe is the owner), was very informative and extremely knowledgable about the work that was being performed . I will certainly be coming back for any future service, the outstanding customer service and the attention to detail was just what I was looking for.

Best place to get work done on your car. They always take very good car of mine. They handle every job with care and the price is always fair. Did everything from a engine swap to a oil change for me. This is the only place I would bring my car.

I called alot of different shops to get my lowering springs and mud guards installed on my explorer. These guys gave me the best price and quickest turnaround. Real friendly and i think i found my new personal mechanic.

Great shop been coming here since 2013. Al has been servicing both my 2009 Hummer H3 Alpha and my 2003 Lexus GS300. They are very honest and up front with what the car needs. If you looking for a honest local repair shop this is the place!!

The only place i would ever bring my car. Mechanics are knowledgeable, efficient, and they take such good care of my car. My last oil change was quick and easy and I will be back for maintenance and repairs for sure. Definitely bring your car to these guys!

The owner Al was very up front with the work that needed to be done and explained in detail what the best route was for repairs. He was very polite and worked with me as much as possible. The mechanic Bob was accurate and quick with the repairs and also polite. Recommend everyone to give them a shot as they will not let you down.

I took my vehicle here for repair and spoke with someone really nice named Al, He was nice. Then i learned why. He literally used ALREADY BROKEN USED parts on my car to repair it. after leaving his shop my car started smoking 2 days later and when i called Al he started yelling at me, talking down to me, he belittled me, told me stop doing "what my people do" and complain (i am african american). I will be filing a complaint against this shop. I did end up taking my car directly to a dealership, i paid AGAIN a bit more, but they did confirm the parts installed were already broken and caused further damage. Al now does not take my calls and blocked my number. Furthermore, he does not wear a facemask and when i asked to put one on, he told if im not comfortable then leave. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, A/C installation & repair

Auto Clinic of Braintree is great! Owner is Knowledgeable and polite and the mechanic is excellent. Always easy to get repairs done for both my cars there and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

If I could give six stars I would. Al is my neighborhood mechanic, phenomenal service and great conversations. The work is always done on time and the price is right. These guys are the best around.

Definitely recommend this place for auto work! From the moment I walked into the door the staff were professional and friendly. I dropped off my vehicle for back brake service and it was done in record time. I will return in the future.

This place is the BEST ... GREAT... AMAZING.. the best service with the best price anyone can ever get. I was going to fix my car in Dorchester and they asked me 900 dollars... thanks to my angel mechanic at Auto clinc I was able to fix it for 40$ .

Al Der provides great quality and professional service. Henry in my opinion is a master mechanic. Auto Clinic in Braintree services all of my vehicles. I would highly recommend Auto Clinic Of Braintree.
