Friendly and efficient. An oil change that is almost 1/3 the cost than that at a Porsche dealership, and half the wait time. All fluid top off too! I would come back for all scheduled interval maintenance service; which he can do.

Friendly, fast work at a great price. What more can you ask for? I particularly appreciated the detailed, itemized receipt which showed exactly what was done and what parts and labor for each item cost. Really helps build faith that they're not doing unnecessary work or over charging. Will definitely be going here from now on.

Vu was great, nice guy. Very easy process to drop off and get two tires changed. He gave me options and provided his rec. convenient location in Dorchester. Will definitely use his services again if needed

I've always had good service when I visited this auto shop in the past.Mr. Vu kept that wonderful experience going today when I stopped by to have some work done on my vehicle. He was very pleasant and informative about what was "Truly" wrong with my SUV and what he felt was the best approach to having the work done.Mr. Vu I appreciate your honesty, the time and respect you gave me today. Shoutout to Vu's Modern Auto. I take my car here for everything from oil changes to brakes to engine problems etc.They do great work, they're fast and very punctual. They show you the old parts that they replaced as well as explain why they needed to be replaced, and also give you tips on maintaining the vehicle.You can call them up and make an appointment, or just show up (appointments reccomended, as they are very busy)Great place to go for your vehicle, and the owner is a great guy as well.

Straight forward and I feel like he's there for you and not to make a Xtra buck. While I was there he went above and beyond to help this lady out and from what i heard being nosey, he was on point in my opinion.Highly recommend.

My car is a Benz and on the older side. I only took my car to either Gerardo on Metropolitan Ave or VU s, because I trust both businesses. VU has been fantastic all 3x I have been there. Always informative, transparent and definitely knowledgeable about what he does. I trust his judgement and I m always a satisfied customer.

Excellent auto mechanic. Augustin is an experienced mechanic who changed the brake pads and rotor in my VW Tiguan. The other two mechanic were willing to fix my caliper with eletronic motor, saving the original motor. Works very well. Good experience.

I had my 2005 Subaru Outback serviced here. I've found my new repair shop!Vu's Modern Auto is very professional, and within an hour the problem was diagnosed and repairs began. I got my car back the same day! I highly recommend them.

I was stranded, car wouldn't start and no reliable mechanic to call. I decided to try a new mechanic out and glad I did. Vu took excellent care of me, even recommended a towing company while keeping the price affordable. Great overall mechanic, very knowledgeable, no tricks, no gimmicks just honest business. Will be returning!

Stopped by for a oil change and tire rotation. Asked about a noise coming from the wheels that I couldn t quite figure out. They gave an honest assessment and quote, no pressure to do the work immediately (the issue was not safety critical). Been coming to this location for neighborhood service for a while. Took my Mercedes wheels to this shop for two tires and a TPMS sensor replacement and I do have to mention the service I receive and the price was unbelievable the owner and his team were very professional, I received my wheels a sort time after and found zero scratches on the wheels and the tire pressure was set also one of my other vehicle needs an alignment and the tires replaced instead of taking it to the dealer I will definitely take it to this shop. Support the owner for the great work he is providing.Service: Tires

So this shop is owned by son of the orignal owner. It s now called Vu s Modern Auto, but used to be called Boston Auto Tech located at 1388 Dorchester ave. I took my car here once and was told be seated in the waiting area inside the office. I had a weird gut feeling about these guys because they already over-price every auto service you could possibly think of. So like I mentioned before I was told to sit in the waiting area, but something told me to go check on the work that was being done to my car. Long story short, I caught two of the mechanics trying to break something under my car. When i caught them, they were startled. I asked them what are they doing to my car, then one of them started speaking in Vietnamese to the other while laughing at me. I told him to lower my car and give me my car key. They are some crooks. Bring your car here at your own risk.

Great place, Vu is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about business. Definitely worth checking they got all the tricks up their sleeves. I had 2 stripped lugged nuts that wouldn t come off, it took them around 20 minutes to take them off. They used high heat torch to loose it up. Pretty satisfied with what I get out of this place

I was really impressed with being shown the new parts and also the old parts, I was also called and updated about other problems and was advised respectfully as a customer. Brought My mini Cooper in.The car has been to three different garages, One of them being a professional BMW garage and not a single garage could figure out the issue with my car not starting.With in one visit to Vus Garage, he had it running. This shop is amazing, Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the Owner is extremely hands on and reasonable with Labor prices...they have no control of parts pricing, I highly recommend them
