Wow. Wow. Wow. This place is excellent in every meaningful way. The cleanliness of not just the waiting room, but also every single repair bay there isn t a single oil slick or misplaced tool in the whole damn place. The customer service is top-notch Dan, Jesse, and the whole gang made an immediate impression of honesty, considerateness, and experience. I brought in a set of wheels for them to install on a car that is new to me with unconventional lugs. I thought I purchased the proper fitment, but Jesse went way out of his way to help me understand where the fitment was off by taking his time to draw out on paper the difference between the two lugs in a way that I could easily understand. Being new to the area, I think I ve found my go-to repair shop! Thanks, Dan & Jesse!

They fixed the issue I had with my car and got it back to me in a timely manner. Jessie was excellent at explaining everything. I would definitely go back there as they run a professional and clean shop!

This shop was amazing! I ve been in the motor car business my entire life but I ve never been in an independent shops repair center lounge waiting area as comfortable as this one. And service,the last day of the month I went for a sticker I waited inside in the air conditioned comfort while my car was inspected, paid my $35 state inspection fee and my car was ready for me with the door open. No long lines I I m just can t sing enough praises for Dan s Auto repair of Billerica.

We've been going to Dan's for more years than I can count. He did a pretty big job on my car and let me know ahead of time it might take 2 days to complete. It only took 1 day to complete to my surprise. I'll never go any place else!!

I've been taking two family cars to Dan's for about 16 years with no complaints. I took my car in for a scheduled oil change, but a couple of days later my oil change light went on when I was about 30 miles from home. Icalled the next morning and spoke to a "young lady" about the situation then dropped off my car. When I arrived to pick it up that evening I was verbally reprimanded by Dan's head mechanic (Jesse) for being extremely rude to the "young lady" that morning, bringing her to tears. Dan stood about ten feet behind the counter like he feared I would start a physical confrontation. It appeared to me that the mechanic was doing all the talking with a threatening tone .I'm a man in my mid 70s and I carry a cain for balance. That's right, I'm a pretty threatening figure to a mechanic in what appears to be 30+ years old, I stood there listening to Jesse's verbal assault, in shock,with no defense because I didn't meet my "young lady" "young lady" "young lady" accuser nor was I told what I said to her over the phone that was so upsetting that she was brought to tears. Dan's only comment was "Your car is out front, GOOD BYE MR. _______. In a tone that suggested "Don't come back here again"I'm paraphrasing.This complaint is intended more for Dan's eyes only. I just can't believe he stood there and listened to his mechanic's verbal assault on a customer of 16 years without a single complaint.As you can see by reading other reviews about Dan's Auto, I will add that I have ALWAYS been satisfied with the work, cleanliness of the waiting room, and speed and efficiency of Dan's. I'm disappointed also that I'm still in search of a comparable auto repair shop.

These guys are amazing and you really should check them out at least for comparison. Hard working INTELLIGENT employees always take good care of my vehicles when I bring them here. They do a very helpful and convenient inspection upon arrival which makes things easy for everyone involved. You guys always know what you're talking about, get work done quickly, and my cars are always in BETTER condition when I get them back. Being out of state. My daughters car was hauled there by AAA. After many informed /patient phone calls to Jessi. I voted not to revive the old tired car . Jessi, Dan, mechanics and receptionist went above and beyond my expectations. Time wise, patience, friendliness and courteous.

Very professional, and very knowledgeable. Have taken my truck here a few times, and every time they stay in touch, let you know costs of work before starting, and any potential problems they may run into while working on the vehicle. Trustworthy and informative. I originally brought my car here to have my wheels road force balanced. The quality of work and the level of detailed information I was given was so impressive that I later returned to have them work on my wife's car. The waiting room is spotless with comfortable chairs and they'll pull your car up to the front door for you when it's done. Now that's great customer service.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I went to Dan s to have an antifreeze leak and the rear rotors and break pads replaced on my wife s Audi TDI Q7 and they did an amazing job from beginning to end and they took the time to explain the repairs along the way. The communication was stellar and the cost was great! The customer service is second to none and the exterior of the building, the waiting room and shop are impeccably clean and maintained. I love Dan s and highly recommend them to all.They are much more affordable than a dealership and they stand behind their repairs 100% with a warranty!If you have a European, Domestic or foreign vehicle check out Dan s before you get go anywhere else! You won t regret it.

Been using Dan's for a long time. If you're looking for a cheap repair job maybe look elsewhere. An amazing shop let me tell you. They did brakes and oil change for me for very reasonable money. Today I dropped off my car for an electrical issue, the power port was not working. They fixed it for free, no charge! When was the last time a car mechanic fixed something in your car for free??? Dan's Auto is a excellent repair shop. They provide excellent customer service, they are honest and their prices are reasonable. I have been bringing my cars to Dan's for about 4 years and they've consistently done great work and exceed my expectations. It takes a lot for a mechanic/shop to earn my trust and Dan's auto has earned mine.Recentely, I brought in a tire in that had a screw in it. After they checked it, they called and said that it didn't penetrate tire and there would be no cost. They checked the tire pressure and made sure it maintained the pressure overnight. This is the kind of honesty and service that keeps me going back. Great job Dan's auto!

I've usually had a good experience here. Two instances ago, when I told them I had a road noise going over 65, they gave me my car back after $1,000 repair with the noise still there. A week later they finally drove it at 65 and figured out the issue. One of my panels came loose from a snow bank.I took it in again recently over a new noise - again I got my car back with the noise still there $450 dollars later. Turned out, a bracket for my brakes broke in half barely holding together. Instead they fixed my rear springs which wasn't required. They fixed the issue with the bracket for free, but this is the 2nd time this has happened.I wish I could give a better review because they're personable and friendly, but my wallet sure can't take another misdiagnosis.

I brought my 2004 Corolla to Dan's for a muffler replacement and gas tank shield and when I looked under the car when I got it home i saw that the team at Dan's Auto Repair did a great job at both replacements. I highly recommend Dan's Auto Repair to anyone who has work to be done. The staff at Dan's are courteous and professional. You won't be disappointed.

Clean, friendly, and straight shooters that do the work well, and don't do unnecessary work. We've had them work on four different cars over the last decade and have always been happy with their work. They're the kind of place that keeps a immaculate shop, like the work they do on cars.

I will never use any other mechanic for any cars present or future. My whole family comes to Dan's. His shop has reasonable prices for exceptional work. Excellent personal service aswell. I can not put into words how much I trust this shop with my vehicle.

Dan s Auto is very customer friendly, they use oem parts, and they have very reasonable pricing. I ve recommended them to family and friends, they just replaced my front struts and they had the lowest price around. If you need a professional mechanic with a friendly staff, call Dan s Auto!

Incredibly reliable service by the most professional team I've had the pleasure to work with. I've been in the service for 32 years and one of the most difficult people to find in a new location is a mechanic. Dan's worked on our Volvo, BMW,and my F350. I will not go anywhere else.

Thanks to Dan's Auto for all that you!! A+++ Auto Repairs and recommendation when to HOLD OFF on repairs not needed at that time! I have 5 used cars in my family and ALL REPAIRS are completed at Dan's Auto. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE FOR OVER 30 YEARS! Extremely TRUST worthily and Best Prices around for a VERY PROFESSIONAL auto repair team. Don't put you or your families life on the line by having some small outfit garage do repairs on YOUR WIFE AND KIDS car! Its relieving not to worry about was it done right with the work completed at Dan's. Feel SAFE with the profession repairs completed at this place! I hope not to have to see them too often for the next 30 YEARS! :)

I stopped by for a oil change today (10/1/12) and they finished in ten minutes. I did not call ahead so I was expecting at least a thirty minute wait. The receptionist was very nice and the lounge are was great. I actually would not mind spending another 30 minutes watching the TV. The mechanic was very honest with parts that were failing. He said they didn't need to be replaced now but at some point it will have to be done. I knew he wasn't lying because my mechanic said th esame thing a few weeks ago.I definitely recommend this place, especially for inspections and mechanical advise.

Have gone in for state inspections on both of our cars. Incredibly fast service, the employees at the front desk are courteous, the waiting room is large and comfortable; and now in the virus age, employees were wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer available for customers. Great experience.

Dan's is the Best auto repair shop I have ever been to. I live in Manchester NH now and I still go to Dan's. We don't trust anyone else. They always explain why something needs to be done . They are all very nice also
