Rob has been working on my BMW s for over 10 years and I ve always been happy with his high quality work. Not only is he a master BMW mechanic, he is also willing to take the time to talk with the you, the car owner, and discuss the work in detail, which is not a common practice, especially at a dealership. I strongly recommend Boston Motor Werks for your BMW s needs.

Boston Motor Werks is the most professional shop I ve ever used. Rob performed a fairly significant service on my V8 BMW. They are super knowledgeable and Rob will spend the time to explain what s going on with the repairs. Couldn t recommend more!

Big fan of Rob and his crew at Boston MotorWerks! Fast, efficient and convenient. I had a surprise problem early in the month and Rob was able to get my car in the next day, get it diagnosed and get it quickly fixed. Always a very good experience!

Rob and his team have taken care of 2 BMWs for me over the years. They do great work and are very transparent about what is needed and why. I have had some major issues addressed over the years but Rob always takes time to explain the issue, show me the problem and help me decide whether to deal the work or not. I ve never been pressured to do unnecessary work and my car is always happy when I leave .

I've been going to Boston Motor Werks for years. Rob takes incredible care of my family's cars. They do high quality work, using factory original parts, and highly reliable and ethical. I brought my E70 X5 in to have some things looked at, and Rob got me squared away quickly for a reasonable price. We have a game plan for getting the vehicle completely reliable and there was never any pressure from his team to get it all done at once.

Very knowledgeable team. Stick to point. Reasonable pricing, but they charge for what they are worth. The car improved 100% after they started to take care of it. I m very happy with them and I do recommend them.

Rob Hanna at Boston Motor Werks runs a very detail oriented car care shop for BMWs and other German vehicles . Rob and Boston Motor Werks are great. I brought my 2016 BMW in for routine maintenance (engine oil and brake fluid), and within 4 hours I had that work done, plus a few other items (brakes, engine strap, shifter throwing a code) documented with pictures and an estimate in an email. We decided the shifter code was just an annoyance and not worth the cost to fix, and the brakes and engine strap were done on time the next day with certified BMW parts.Rob is very friendly, great to communicate with (email, text, and phone), and I m happy to be able to give him my business. I ll continue to go back until the car falls apart or it s not worth the expense to maintain - which should be a while given his very reasonable cost for a luxury foreign car. Thanks, Rob and team!

I absolutely love taking my car to Bavarian Motor Werks. Whatever Rob says is needed, I have done because I trust him implicitly. I cannot praise Rob, and the entire team at Boston Motor Werks, highly enough. I have been a client of theirs for many years, and their unwaveringly high level of professionalism, honesty, reliability and just plain friendliness is what has kept me coming back. I actually limit the scope of automobiles I will drive to the types that they service, so that I never have to go anywhere else. They really are that good.

My BMW broke down 200 yards before reaching the werks .. Just took my 2023 BMW M4 there to get the horrific brake squeal out after a terrible experience with the dealer. First of the service department at the dealership didn t even want to acknowledge the fact that there was a squeal to begin with even though it s a widely known problem and a service bulletin supporting it.Rob and the crew knew immediately what to do and got it done ASAP. He really knows his stuff and he s a true BMW freak just like me!Thanks again guys!Service: Brakes

Boston Motor Werks is a breath of fresh air compared to my experiences at the BMW dealership. The owner Rob met with me and took my through their work inside the car. They use a higher quality replacement part than what has been installed prior at the dealership, and his team takes great pride in their work. I have been extraordinarily happy maintaining two BMWs over the past few years at Boston Motor Werks. I am consistently impressed with both their customer service and technical expertise.They are proper experts with better shop diagnostics and equipment than some dealers. They love what they do and it shows. Rob's shop was recommended by a friend who has been using the business for years. He diagnosed the problem (wheel bearing was going out) and took care of the issue. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong with the bearing and how it was affecting the car.Will be bringing my car there to get serviced next time.Service: Auto maintenance

Took in my Mercedes c300 2013 for a major service. Rob was amazing, he sent me pictures of the flaws he identified and explained what needed to be repaired and why. Had to replace a ton of sensors, a wiring harness, did all four brakes plus oil change and so on. It s a completely different car now. It drives like brand new. Not the cheapest, but a fraction of dealership prices and worth every penny.

I got an oil change and they went over the car and told me several things to be aware of. Here I will say they told me they write the next oil change mileage as 2k miles than what it should be. They said its because their clients are constantly going over . I thought this to be a little deceptive. If someone wants to go over on mileage thats their choice. To alter that was wrong.Next I had emailed them twice to discuss future service, but no replies. I called twice but was not able to connect. I finally connected and wanted to discuss an extended warranty I have. They told me they are too busy to work with that and its a waste of their time.Also on the car report after the first oil change there was misinformation and the wrong vehicle was listed. Either they gave me the wrong receipt or entered wrong info. They were also supposed to follow up and give me information for someone to replace my windshield, they never did.Bad customer service. They seem to be busy enough to not care about people. They also alter documents to benefit themselves.Tried to give them a couple chances as it was in a convenient location for me.Just can t recommend them. For BMW owners there are better mechanics out there.

I recently had my 911 in for some work. They provided excellent service.Rob is extremely professional and knowledgeable and has a great team of techs. If your car needs service/work, they provide a better and more reasonable alternative to the dealer.

Rob has always been great! His work quality is excellent, he's very knowledgeable, and forthcoming with technical details. I never feel likes holding anything back. Prices are fair too and I never leave feeling like I was ripped off. I will continue taking my BMW to Boston Motorwerks for every job I can't do myself.

I've been going to Rob for about 10 years now over a series of cars, ranging from Z3's to an X1 and a Porsche *. I always feel like I'm getting good advice a fair price on work and parts and someone who will stand behind their work. He recently extended the facility to include an excellent waiting room and has limited loaners. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking an alternative to dealership service for BMW and Porsche.* Yes, Rob now also services Porsche, he's done the investment in the tools and hired a factory tech.
