Word gets around when a car repair shop does honest work. A few years ago I happened to hear about Tilton Automotive and more than one person recommended I take my car there. I have been going there ever since and they always do a great job. During a recent oil change and check up, I was told the battery was weak. I then had it checked out where I had purchased it and it had to be replaced. So glad I brought my car to Tilton.

The most trustable mechanic you can find in New England, Fred and his team are the best there is. I would trust fred with any issue or vehicle, and he always quotes a fair price.

My entire family (all 6 of us & our cars!) has brought all of our vehicles to Fred at Tilton Automotive for the past few years and we are always well taken care of. Fred is quick to identify the problem and quick to solve it. This past time I came in he even saved the old part from my car to show to me how bad it really was! He charges a fair price every time and is much less than the other shops in the area. We will continue to see Fred for any problems in the future!

They are always on top of what might be needed for servicing our cars and always discuss the issues with us, laying out options and making sound recommendations. The service is excellent; prices are very good and they are totally reliable. I am a busy person, attending graduate school while working full time in Boston. On the way out to Belchertown to visit my girlfriend for the weekend, my car vibrated so intensely I didn't feel safe. I was stuck in town until I could get it fixed. I called Tilton Automotive first thing Monday morning and asked if I could be seen as soon as possible. Although they said they were busy, they made time and scheduled me to come check out my car because they understood my urgency.They were caring, honest, and professional. I felt like I was treated respectfully. They identified the issue with my front axel, and in the very same day, obtained the parts, performed the repair, and called me back before end of business! I was even shown the failed parts to confirm the necessity of the repair. My car feels better than ever, and I was able to get back to my crazy schedule with minimum impact. The team at Tilton, especially Fred, was the best! True lifesavers and real professionals that care for the customer at fair prices.

I have had a number of unusual problems with my Jeep Grande Cherokee, the driver's side wide would go down but not up. Tilton was able to quickly figure it out and repair it quickly at a reasonable price. the same was true with my Ford escape that a had skip in the motor and again Tilton figured it out and repaired it at a good price. It now runs great.My Ford Escape was driving my wife i crazy because the alarm kept going off. Hilton figured the problem out quickly and affordably. We are happy with the Ford Escape again.

rodney dangerfield is well know for saying "no respect i get no respect" well at tiltons auto repair you will get nothing but "respect". fred,kevin and mike are devoted to fixing your car. i've been going there for 18 years,and i have nothing but great "respect" for them.they've never let me down. i leave there with knowing and understanding what was wrong,and what they did to fix it.when something happens to our cars we all think the worst,this is going to put a dent in the wallet! when i go to pick up the car i always end up being surprised.in our minds i think we all think the worst.well it's always a good feeling when i leave there.between the confidence of knowing my car was fixed right and,at a very reasonable price.i know i have a place where i can go where i feel i'm always welcome back.i know the door is always open.thanks guys!

Never fear.When you have a problem with your automobile than Tilton is the place to go.You will get an honest diagnosis from these honorable mechanics, Fred, Mike and Kevin and the cost will always be fair .Recommended
