I bought a car 2 months ago and it was by far the best purchasing experience of my life, Honest, Respectful and more then a pleasure to deal with. I will send everyone I know to Top Gear Auto Sales and go to him for all of my mechanical needs. Best in the business hands down! Also I have been dealing with his garage for all of my vehicle mechanic work for more then 12 years, Jack and his staff treat me and the many many people I have sent there like family! The most honest and trustworthy people you will ever find!

We recently bought 2 cars from TopGear Auto and we were extremely pleased with the way we were treated by the staff. Zac was very courteous and knowledgeable and made the whole process quick and easy. Plus, its a nice feeling to know that Jack, the owner and a top notch mechanic, completely went through the cars and assured us that they were in great condition. Jack has been our trusted mechanic for a number of years now and we have always been more than happy with his work. We highly recommend Top Gear for a good used car, and Jacks Sunoco for any car repairs/service you may need. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! We have always been treated very well by Jack and his staff, and we know you will too!

The worst dealership I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Originally, the owner was very nice and seemed helpful. I informed him I would be bringing the car I was to purchase to my mechanic just to make sure everything was safe and would bring back a list of what was to be done. I brought back a hefty list of some things that needed to be fixed and the owner agreed to do it all but made me purchase the vehicle before working on it. Didn't think it was a big deal if I got a warranty. So I bought the vehicle and he said he would begin working on it. Once he said he did everything I brought it to my mechanic who said he didn't fix one thing! He continued to do this until I had 4 days left on my warranty. He did make sure however that anything that would get me a rejection sticker was fixed. Very sneaky and untrustworthy!!! Save yourselves the trouble and go elsewhere, this place doesn't deserve your business!

As a skeptical buyer, I have to say I was impressed overall by the deal that was made on my used car purchase, as well as the work Jack and Zack were willing to do to keep me as satisfied as possible. There was some work to be done on the car before I was to take it, which was done promptly and as agreed upon. These guys are real people who will do a lot for their customers, and they kept in very good communication with me through the purchasing and warranty experience. I would give 5 stars, but the facilities left some comfort to be desired, and the car lot's parking is almost non-existent. Also, there's a non-critical issue with shifting one of the gears of the car which TopGear weren't able to resolve. However, I do feel like a reasonable effort was made considering the nature of the problem.

Bought a Chevy avalanche from them for a great price.the mileage was high but the truck was real clean. The few minor issue they fix quick with no questions asked. I will definitely buy from them again.

Great Car Buying Experience !I purchased my used car fromTop Gear Auto in New Bedford and could not have had a better experience. After initially locating the car on the internet, Jack (The Owner) was readily available by telephone or email to answer questions and set up an appointment for viewing the vehicle. Because of the large distance I needed to travel to get to his dealership, Jack went out of his way to have all of the vehicle preparation and paperwork ready to allow the purchasing process to be completed smoothly and quickly. I highly recommend Top Gear Auto and Jack in particular to anyone in the market for a used car purchase.

Consumer beware ! Your in for a scare!I recently purchased a 2014 Ford Taurus in March of 2019This process with this purchase has been NOTHING but a nightmare !1. I was going to trade in my car decided I would sell it out right. The price of the car I was going to purchase jack then said he was going to go back up on his price if I didn t trade in the car. After we had agreed on dropping the price of the car $500. This should have been a red flag I SHOULD HAVE LEFT !Unfortunately I did not. I ve trusted this guy with my vehicles at his service station across the street . I thought you know what just trade it in and work out the deal. I traded it in2.we agree on a price. Sign paper work and he agrees to fix the clunking noise and the steering issue I noticed on the test drive.. I come back in four days later pay for the car in full. He tells me pick up the car I kno two days. I m going to bring it into my shop to have the work done .3. I come back in two days pick up the car and as soon as I pull out of the service station CLUNK! KATHUMP!! The noise is still there.4. I bring the car back to say it s clunking and thumping . He says it s because it has bigger wheels on it. Bigger wheels are we kidding ? These wheels are from ford straight out of the factory .At this time I inform him that my steering wheel is jolting to the left every time I accelerate . He informed me that it went for an alignment and it s fine .5. On day five of having the car I get pulled over by mass state police informing me that I have no license plate lights. I informed the officer that I just purchased the car and they inspected it at there service station . I showed him my paper work he said to bring it back and demand that they repair the plate lights and he informed me that he would write a report on the situation . In case I needed it fish the line. Well guess who has there police report me!6. I bring the car back the jack at the service station and tell him he has to check the wheel that s jolting and my plate light needs to be repaired . He tells me I need a control arm he will repair it. And he attempts to fix the plate lights. Only one side works . He said it s because if the LED BULBS. That I purchased to install . I bring my car home flip the LEDbulb around and guess what it worked.7. I bring my car to speedy to have then inspect what is wrong with my car as to why is clunkingSpeedy informs me 3 Machanic have looked into my suspension and my complete suspension is completely shot. I need front and rear sway bar linksFront and back struts . $1,078.76 speedy priceI bring my estimate to jack who owns the dealership and the service station . He said it s not worth it to him to fix it. Are we kidding !!?? At this time I know for a fact I m going to court ! He states the car has high miles this is what happens when cars have high miles . Ok buddy keep that same energy up in front of the judge .8. At this time I make a report with the attorney general who still hasn t called me back yet it usually takes about a month to be contacted .9. Now there a new problem with my key . He orders the key BUT THE KEY ISNT EVEN ACTIVATED I had to go down to ford and pay $88 for them to program they key to my car10. I return to the garage one last time trying to let this guy make it right . And he failed ! I informed him having trouble starting and was stalling . He said it s because of the all wheel drive and the big wheels this is the reason I m getting 14mpg combined .He reset something called the fuel trim. Did nothing . He refused to replace my air filter that runs about 5 dollars at his cost . And when I stated if he could replace the spark plugs he said if it needs spark plugs it s on you . JACK YOUR A CROOK! I ll see you in court ! With all my paper work backing me upCan t wait to see what his reply will be to this review !Enjoy your day to anyone who reviews this dealershipAnd shop else where else ! Don t get scammed like me! And the others that written reviews they are real

Don't be fooled by the self ratings. I should have stopped by here first and read some of the reviews before taking a hike there. By far the worst dealer in America. I asked for a carfax he got mad to the point of threatening me. Not sure where he came from, middle east or wherever but he acts like a little punk. Stay away and don't waste your time or money at that place.

I bought a car two months ago, not even after having it for a week my engine light came on and my car had a constant misfire. I brought it back in to the owner immediately since it came with a 30 day warranty, in which I have learned the hard way his warranty's mean nothing so don't be fooled by it! After paying $8,000 for a car and after bringing my car in close to a dozen times (even though he never says no don't mean he actually works on it!!). He is the only mechanic that I know that fixes your car and can never tell you what he fixed nor provided you with the paper work on what he has done. My engine light is still on. The owner stated it was my fault because I should have been using Sunoco Gas that's why my engine light keeps coming on every week after he (Resets it). After talking it to a real mechanic from a dealership I found out that was just one of the many lies I was told in order to avoid fixing the real issues. I am now stuck with this lemon, I would not suggest buying a car from Top Gear Auto unless you want to take the chance of being in my shoes and being out 1000x's. (Not many reviews on this company so far but that's because it just opened a few months ago and was formally knows as Ray's Auto) Don't be fooled do your research before you even think of buying a car from them!!

Bought my 2004 dodge ram 1500 pickup truck from topgear in new bedford, I couldn't be happier. Hassle free process, they did all the paperwork and got it registered for me and inspected, all I had to do was pick it up, awesome customer service by the owner Jack and salesman Zach. I would recommend them to anyone!

Got a car from TopGear Auto. The service was great before and after the sale. Got a good a price on a good car. I'd recommend this place to someone I know looking for a car and I'll definitely go back the next time I need one.

Went to buy a car for my daughter. Had an agreement and everything. They were just gonna fix one thing and call me when it was ready. Well they sold the car out from under me. All about the $. I ll go somewhere else.
