Went for a state inspection and was turned away at the door for having a "soup can exhaust". My entire exhaust up until the muffler is completely oem, and the car was quieter than factory with the silencer that was in. Went to the Midas down the street and passed with flying colors.

A complete joke. Do not go here. I have been going there for years solely for the convenience. A few days ago I went to get my oil changed and one of my new rims came out with a huge gash. Of course they didn t have anything to do with it. It just magically happened between when the half junkie got in my car for the service and when I got back in. I ve been reading the other reviews and noticed that the responses ask for e-mails to share with the owner. The owner is just as much of a sleeze bag as the employees. I was told I would get a call from him to follow up. Never happened until I tracked him down. He tells me that the employee said he didn t do it . Oh ok, well that s good enough for me after spending thousands of dollars over the years, on multiple vehicles. I will never return and will tell everyone that will listen to go literally anywhere else.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

First time going to SpeeDee oil change and I was shocked. Quick and pleasant experience. I pulled into the lot for my inspection to be done on my car and someone walked up to my car took the information and it was in and out in 15 minutes. Great experience and would recommend highly.

Service was great! Went in for an inspection and the guys found that my rear break lights were out and offered to replace them for the cost of 2 bulbs. The guys were very friendly and process was very efficient. I will definitely go back for my next inspection.

last year i brought one of my cars here and it came back with a broken glove compartment. more recently i went and got my car looked at and inspected, along with getting my tires looked at. not long after one of my tires blew on the highway. they had ALL been filled WAY too high, resulting in me having to buy a new tire. i will never go back to this location and i don t recommend anyone go there againServices: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

I brought my truck in with concerns for my front end. They changed my fluids and then said my front end was "tight" and that I just needed an alignment. I brought it to Joe's tire in New Bedford and, as they were taking my luggage nuts off the whole wheel was wiggling. Indicative of a tie rod end failure. Speedee sent me on my way after tlooking at my front end and telling me it was fine. A pretty dangerous thing considering I sought their help. Never going back there again

The only place I've trusted with my car, they've never lied to me. They also take the time to explain.Also they fixed my mom's car when hers was basically on fire. 10/10

I go to speedee for any inconvenience, BUT I AM NOT GOING BACK. Approx. 9months ago my A/C needed a recharge. I paid over 100$ no complaints. It worked for a day. So I returned, they told me i need my condenser and compressor. I took their word and paid over 1200$!! At the end of last summer. NOW i need my AC for the hot weather returning and to my surprise I HAVE NO A/C. When I returned this week, i was brushed off and told well anything couldve happened and its an extra 200$ JUST TO LOOK AT IT. you mean during the whole winter where i didnt use my AC??? Absolutely unacceptable and I feel like its because I went alone as a female. Im so dissatisfied and disappointed.

What can I say? I love these guys. I brought my cars there for years and recently I started bringing my husband's car over there which happens to have a class action lawsuit against Kia the gentlemen's. There are always very nice. They're caring and we actually have real conversations about cars which is nice. They don't try to over intimidate women or anything. The prices are normal and they don't break things to make you come back and fix it lol

They wanted to give me a Rejection sticker for my windshield wipers which worked extremely well and were brand new. They replaced them with the small, skinny, useless wipers for a $30 charge. Not sure if they were trying to upsell? Disappointing either way. I didn t want to leave with a rejection sticker for a new car, so I gave in. Checked Massachusetts state law regarding inspection stickers and windshield wipers - they only require that they are working and fit the appropriate length of the windshield. Should have asked for my wipers back.Service: Vehicle Inspection

These guys are fast, friendly and honest. Been coming here for years and whether an oil change or a water pump its done professionally and right the first time. The head mechanics Shawn & Mark are lifesavers (old truck) and Craig runs a tight ship! Shout out to Nate for always smiling when he sees me pull up

I also had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was very friendly and the service was quick. I really liked that they were upfront about the prices right away so you could make an informed decision.A little more expensive than I am used to (I have a mechanic that does mine usually) but they make it up in the fact that the look over your car, let you know about any potential problems, and also make sure all the fluids levels are where they should be.

Shout out to the people at SpeeDee oil change. Took my daughter to get an oil change. The service was impeccable. I'm all about customer service. If you spend hard earned money you want to be treated right. The folks there greet you upon entering and thank you when leaving. The oil change itself was a bit more costly than other places, but they do a 17 point inspection of your car as well. The synthetic oil is much more costly than conventional, however your car will thank you in the long run. Will I go back? Absolutely!!

Great quick convenient service only downside was I thought the 17 point oil change included topping off fluids like coolant but I'm not sure if I misunderstood thst or if they forgot but I had to go buy coolant cuz it was still below the minimum line after service. In and out in less than 15 minutes though.

I came for an inspection sticker late in the afternoon and they took me in right away. Super quick and all the employees were very friendly!! It really was a quick service but I appreciate the great customer service so I want the employer to know they the have a wonderful staff !

I ve been going here since I moved to New Bedford two years ago. They are always friendly and timely with service. They even did repairs last minute for me, last year before Thanksgiving. I had them do a simple oil change and they completely stripped the pan. I went back and they "supposedly" dont know where the leak is. I now have to pay 200 at a mechanic to fix it. These guys have no idea how to work on cars and would highly recommend any other place to do oil changesService: Oil changeService: Oil change

The fastest service I've ever had, got an oil change and changed the cabin filter and was in and out in 15 minutes. Super nice, professional techs. And they do free buffs (top off your oil, wiper fluid, etc. In between oil changes). And vacuum and clean your front and back windshields. I highly recommend this place, especially if you dont like waiting.

There's only two places I trust my big ole' Dodge Van to be worked on at. 1. My garage and 2. SpeeDee in New B.People always ask me why not do it yourself? Why so I can get covered in oil and save $5?No I leave it to the pros at SpeeDee. I have been a loyal customer for years with my 82 Monte Carlo, my 06 Lexus, my 97 Ram B2500 and once my free changes by Ford are over my 18 F250 will be there too.Fast, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help a customer. Going here every other month is like visiting good friends and relaxing knowing you are in good hands!To the whole team thank you for always looking out for me on my long Van trips!

I had a fantastic experience here when I needed to get my oil changed a couple months ago. I'm up for another oil change and I was wondering if the staff would replace one of my headlights that went out at the same time? I already have the headlight, but accessing the spot it needs to be swapped is difficult to get to. A few things need to be taken apart. I hope they are versatile enough to accommodate this.
