From the start until now the process with Flexcar has been so easy and reassuring. I applied and was approved within 30 seconds on a Friday and was able to get my car delivered on Monday. I m looking forward to keeping my car long-term and having the ease of responsive customer service and care. I would recommend Flexcar to anyone wanting a car on their terms for a great price!

I ve ennuiyed having my flex car for about a year + now and I really don t have any complaints! Apart from when I tried to get hired XD other than that, great rates if you re a local driver with out of state minimal driving. I couldn t be happier and more greatful this exists!!

Flexcar has been my go-to for over a year now, and their service has been excellent. Their customer support is excellent , and their customer specialist Felix at the Auburn, MA location stands out for his detail-oriented and friendly approach. Highly recommend!

I've been using Flexcar fulltime for over a year. No problems. The app is great, the car is great, and Customer Service is great. Recommended for those who check it out carefully. If it's a good fit for your situation (gotta watch those miles!) go for it.

At this point in time I have had flex car for over a year and more. My major issues is the facts that they have taken away the third party destinations. Their hubs are too far from me however when I first started to use their vehicles my pickup point was just a few miles away. I just want them to know that although I am still using their service I am considering whether or not the services required for the vehicle can be applied when their hub is over an hour and a half drive away. Also, I am starting to wonder whether there is any sort of compensation for somebody as loyal as myself. Other than that the car is doing okay for now.

The car prepare fee that's crazy $199 the first time you get the car and also if you change the car you pay that fee again so for the same car they are getting $400 and they charge 2 time the fee for the same car when the car just get wash only one. That's not saying when you get the car all windows are dirty vacuum is not well. Like come on really????

Man I really love this place. Excellent customer service and the Honda Accord I m using is such a smooth ride! Big shoutout to the Flexcar team! Needed a car quickly and I was able to get one pretty much right when I needed it. Definitely a great alternative to owning a car!

Look out! Had a grey Ford Explorer delivered two weeks ago. Upon delivery, I didn't notice the cigarette smoke smell due to the air freshener attached to the aircon. As soon as I started using it for a short grocery run, I started noticing the stale cigarette smell, which turned out to be very bad after removing the air freshener.I promptly emailed support asking that they pick-up the car and process a full refund. Customer support apologized for the smoke smell, and said someone would pick-up the car before the refund could be processed. After a few days, I called customer support and they told me I need to return the car in the Auburn facility myself.After returning the car, I emailed customer support to request for the refund. They replied however that the staff at the Auburn facility could not smell the smoke, completely invalidating my own experience.If you look at the other reviews, the cars have a problem with smoke smell but the staff either can't smell it or are in denial about it. I would stay away from Flexcar not just for this reason, but also because they seem to be in financial difficulty by refusing to refund a customer and instead, invalidating his negative experience.

The Flexcar experience have been great so far! Reserving and dropoff was seamless. Felix delivered my car- he was knowledgeable about all aspects of the service and was very friendly overall.

Extremely poor experience with Flexcar. Reasons below:1. Car smelled like cigarettes upon pick up.2. Monthly price went up randomly, with no notice.3. Mandatory ~$300 membership fee4. I rented a car for a whole year, paying almost $700/mo. I got the oil change for the vehicle at valvoline for $110 - thinking that flexcar would reimburse me for maintaining THEIR vehicle. They said they could only reimburse $35 I returned my vehicle the day after they denied my plea to reconsider. Extremely poor customer service and I will NEVER recommend your product to anybody else.There is some value in the service but overall not worth it at all. The company has also closed Boston ,MA location and the only drop off is located in Auburn MA. Drove total of 2 hours roundtrip, not worth the hassle.

All your operations are in auburn ma now. That's 50 plus miles from me. Customer service is always for their own agenda. There is no customer. Flex car rules over everything in the universe. Do as we say or we will retrieve the car. It's sad. Flex car does not look at it's customers as humans. I would love to see this co fail just like they fail there customers. I used to defend flex car and put the Co in a positive light. That has come and gone. Why you don't treat your customers with respect is beyond me. It starts from the top down.

Everything about FlexCar has been incredible so far! I was paying hundreds every months in car expenses even though I owned it & it was paid off just because the cost of insurance, maintenance, parts/labor, roadside assistance, remote start/car wash subscriptions & protection/warranties are all out of control. Not to mention it s such a time suck to have to shop around for all these things to get the best deal & stay on top of each individual bill or expense.I knew I didn t want to lease a car though because I m not sure what my life will look like in 36 months & committing to something that long could be an expensive hassle to resolve when I eventually move or my needs change. Plus that option wasn t really cheaper & I d still have to deal with multiple monthly expenses. So I started looking into long term rentals since that sounded like the middle ground I need right now to meet my needs & also simplify my driving life.That s when I stumbled upon FlexCar! At first I was suspicious, it sounded too good to be true only one monthly expense for everything I need & no contracts to cancel or pay to get out of when I m ready to move or get a new car? But now that I have it parked outside my home I can confirm it is in fact real, legit & totally worth it.Here s why I love it: I have a newer car that is reliable, clean & totally stress free to me. I even got a $50 credit to go pick it up since delivery isn t available to my area yet so I used that to Uber there. I have a predictable expense that I can account for every month with no surprise costs like tires, spark plugs, engine repairs or transmission services throughout the year as long as I have it. Oil changes aren t even a concern for me anymore since FlexCar offers them included in the monthly cost, as well as a car wash, roadside assistance & insurance with a fair deductible. I chose the 500 monthly miles plan which turned into 700 after applying a code I found on TikTok at checkout. And the miles roll over, so it ll be plenty for me to use it for limited personal use during the colder months I m not going many places & just working at home. By the summer I m sure I ll want to get out more & I ll have a decent amount to use for local driving, plus I was using the train & bus before I signed up so I ll keep doing that anyway.FlexCar s customer service is also among the best around. Every time I ve called in to ask questions to find out more details someone has answered the phone, been able to help me & even followed up over email really stepping up their support. When I arrived in person in Auburn, MA to pick up my car I was quickly helped by a friendly rep (I think her name was Raquel) & I was done with the whole process in less than 10 minutes.Even though I ve only had the car for about 24 hours now I only have positive things to say about the whole experience so far. I really look forward to using it as long as I need until I figure out if it ll be a long term arrangement or I move somewhere I don t need a car (my dream! After having sooo many bad experiences with insurance companies & auto facilities). I think the ultimate benefit to going the FlexCar route is the peace of mind I have knowing I can afford it without any high or low unexpected costs and freedom from time consuming price shopping/comparing & billing hassles.

I have been very pleased with flexcar as I've a customer for almost a year now. The only thing that puts a damper on things is that there are no more hubs in or near the city of Boston itself..closet one is auburn ma. Which is about an hour drive from where I am and when I joined I picked up my vehicle right in Boston. Other than that I'm happy

Listen, is it inconvenient that a car rental agency is located in an out of the way small town with limited public transportation options? Yes, that was definitely a head-scratcher of a business decision. BUT this is such a good option for a long term car rental that I didn't care. It's EXTREMELY affordable compared to the alternatives, like literally a third of the price of using turo for rentals longer than a month and don't even bother with traditional car rentals. And it's all super simple with insurance coverage included. The car was in great shape and served its purpose, and their customer service was always responsive.

My mother rented a car from Flexcar that was picked up in Boston with the expectation that it would be returned there. The draw was the ability to rent week to week or month to month. Upon pickup we must have seen 10 cars before finding one that didn't have a smell (mostly smoke), reasonably clean, and without much body/wheel damage. Most cars seem the have the minimal amount of maintenance to get them out the door. Not long into the rental there was a tire issue and their only offer was to drive it 30 minutes away to get it fixed by their authorized shop (Pep Boys in Brockton). Not ideal and they are unwilling to reimbirse small expenses like that done locally... we ended up paying out of pocket, which is what they probably hope. The theme of making things difficult came came up again at the end of the rental. At some point during the rental they closed the Boston location without notifying my mother and giving her the opportunity to return the car there before it closed. They are now only offering "free" returns at their this location, in Auburn, that's ~50 miles from where the rental originated. That's not exactly free when you consider the time, transportation back, and the mileage the $0.40/mile that they charge charge on the trip there. They are offering to pick up the car where it originated for a fee of $150, which is unfair, unreasonable, and possibly not legal. It seems that Flexcar is making returns prohibitive in an effort to extend rentals, particularly for seniors like my mother who cannot drive long distances and those who lack transportation, which is the whole point of the rental to begin with. Due to questionable business practices and my experience of seeing that that their vehicles seem to be poorly maintained I have to recommend not using them.

Horrible service, prices to high and too far away from Boston.We picked up a car in the Boston seaport area, and now we have returned the car in Auburn, MA, around 55 miles away from Boston and we have to pay the miles we drove to return the car.Do not deal with this company, is it better you rent a car,because with flexcar you pay the miles you drive.

Please be cautious before using this service as they very cleverly charge you annual membership fees for $250 without informing you when you pay for the car initially. if you have taken the car for 30 days they will charge you the annual membership fee within 15 days which doesn't make sense if you originally plan to take the car for 30 days which forces you to pay $300 plus the $250 of annual membership fee. be ready to pay $250 extra then you had originally budgeted

I made the plan on Saturday. Today, in the morning the car did not start anyways. I Called for assistance and they could started the car, but once the tow driver were not able to say what the car had, they towed the car to be evaluated. They said the car was ok though. So, I requested to delivery me the car, same service they provided me a couple days ago for 100 bucks! Which I would pay it again. Therefore, they said the car wouldn t need to be tow and this would cost a lot to them, so they would not provided me the service they provided a couple days ago again, even I am paying for! So, they decided to punish me because I called for assistance!You guys are not able to provide de service I need and put on me the risk of your business! If you do not want to take risk do not sell what you are selling . I don t have any responsibility to identify the issue and evaluate if the car needs or not to be towed.I ve paid 100 bucks to delivery the car on Saturday and now you don t have de service for me because I called for assistance that causes you expenses. Is this not your business? You did not provide me any favor, every single mile was charged and paid, even the 100 to delivery, so I cannot understand what would you like to compensate if you charge to delivery. I ve never denied to pay for it, but you do not want to do it because You want to punish your customers for requesting the service you offered and charged for. This is a such discrimination situation because you do not want to provide ME the services you sold me just last week!!!!!Ridiculous!Cancel my plan immediately once I do not have car to return because it was towed and delivered to you, but you must reimburse for breaching the agreement you made with me.

Great convenience service, reasonable pricing, and a great option if you need a car for a week or a few months. I loved that they had electric cars as an option. I will definitely consider electric for my future vehicle purchases based on this experience! Be that with Flexcar or a long term purchase.
