When we first got our new Palisade, it didn t take long for a rogue parking lot carriage to leave its mark - a frustrating dent on the trunk. We got a few quotes, but the numbers were, well, a bit jaw-dropping. We thought it was just cosmetic, so we let it be. Fast forward a year, and another misadventure in a tight driveway added a deep gash to the driver s side door which needed to be addressed.We again shopped around for quotes and were taken aback by the figures we received. Then, I did what most of us do nowadays I turned to Facebook for advice. A couple of names were provided, but K&D was recommended the most. On a whim, I called them at 8 AM. Ken, the owner, was the one who actually answered the phone, ready and willing to help. By 9 AM, he handed me an estimate for both damages that was notably less than what others had quoted for just one.Ken kept me in the loop during the entire process. When an unforeseen vendor issue threw a wrench in our plans, causing a delay for the trunk dent repair, Ken was proactive. Rather than holding onto the car longer, he gave us the car back and told us he d get us the first appointment when the vendor was available. Less than a week later, he had us drop the car off to finish the repair. He made our Palisade a priority and we got the car back the same day. Despite my objections, Ken even offered a discounted rate, even though the delay was outside of his control, saying it was all about making things right for the customer.Now, our Palisade? It looks showroom fresh. K&D Autobody s craftsmanship is top-tier, and their prices? Highly competitive. So, if you re on the hunt for reliable auto bodywork, especially for a Palisade, I can t recommend K&D Autobody enough. Their mix of professionalism, quality, and genuine customer care sets them apart.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I drove almost two hours from Taos to leave my car at K&D. Kenny took my Mercedes E320 on short notice and did a SUPER job fixing the back end! He is old school professional and honest. I had a great experience with K & D Autobody On School St. in Mansfield! My car was in a minor accident that required some body work (drivers side door replacement, side view mirror replacement and bumper and rocket panel work) I chose them as they were really close to home! They handled all the communication with the insurance company, came in at a reasonable, fair price and had my car ready on time and looking fantastic! I would highly recommend them for body work!!! Very Pleased!

They just helped me out tremendously today. Someone hit me just enough in a parking lot to pop out the left rear bumper, scratch it and they kept going. I drove in this morning without an Appointment and they took me right away. A few hours later I have my car back and it looks great. I knew from past experience how good and honest they are. The price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend anyone to K&D. Judy H., Mansfield

Very professional and friendly. Had my 2020 elantra in for body damage. Picked car up in a reasonable amount of time and it looks great. Repairs look awesome and paint blended nicely. Highly recommend this place for everyone

If you're looking for a body shop, I cannot more highly recommend K & D Auto Body on School St. They are honest, care about high quality in their work, fair with pricing, patient and good in communicating with the lay person. A rare combination in the industry. I hope I don't HAVE to use a body shop again, but if I need to, but if I need to, it's K & D.
