Very disappointed. Took the car to my mechanic (2011 nissan sentra) to be checked (which was not free). They said it needed $800-900.to fix the problems. We made an offered . Would have it fixed on our own or they fix the problems and still offered less cause I would need to have it checked again The gentleman said it was not his car and would check with the owner.. We left messages and no return call!! Now we are out the money we spent on have the car to have it checked out!!!! Would not recommend buying a car there before having it checked out with another mechanic!!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend this dealership for buying a well serviced and sound new car. As it turns out, I did not end up buying the car I came a long distance to see, only because I realized I was not ready to let go of my old car that I was very fond of. But my whole experience with Majid was so positive I wanted to write a review anyway. Majid is the kind of person you want to deal with. He is warm, candid, and easy to talk to. Because I had come a long drive to get there, he offered ways to help get money to him or pick up the car without my having to come again from so far. I enjoyed working with him and he gave me time to make a decision without any pressure. So I didn't buy the car after all. But I want others to know that this is a fellow who means business and is a good man to work with. I wish his business much success in 2024.

Mt husband has been searching for a LS 430 for YEARS! A quick trip to Boston led us to 97 Emory St LLC. How many phone calls later..he got his car! Beautiful! This family business was so patient with my husband...answering his questions/concerns, no problem. Very happy with our purchase! Would definitely recommend

My mother purchased a little Toyota Corolla a couple of weeks ago. The salesman said bumper to bumper warranty for 30 days. Well, unlike other dealers we've worked with, she had a few issues and after a quick phone call, her car is being fixed to fix her issues! Have to say that when people stand by their word it means a lot these days!! Thanks Emory Street Auto! Thanks for making sure my mom is both safe and satisfied!!

I purchased a 2006 Volvo v70 from them. It was fairly priced and do to the DMV could not get the plates or registration for two days. They did this for me and delivered the car to me.( I LIVE TWO HOURS AWAY)..no charge!! Three weeks later the powering steering rack leaked. I called and they installed a new rack no problem. This is not a CHEAP repair. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a good used car. They are fair and above all honest. Burt.

Went looking for a used car here, the owner tried to sell us a ready to go car for 8K. When we took it to get it inspected by a third party they said the car was unsafe to use because it was rotting all the way through and quoted us 10K in repair costs to get it in working condition. When we brought this back to the owner, that he was advertising a unsafe and falling-apart vehicle under the false pretenses of great condition, he was unwilling to pay for the mechanic fees we unnecessarily spent on a car he claimed was great that turned out to be a total lemon. Very disappointed in the way this turned out as I was very excited and ready to sign for this car as soon as we had confirmation of its health. I wish this could have been a good review, but this business would have needed to have handled this situation better. Would give 0/5 if I could. Even a part they bragged about replacing on the car was leaking . This makes me unsure if you can trust their mechanic/repair work. BE CAUTIOUS

We contacted Emory Street Auto Sales and Service about a 2011 Nissan Versa. Despite telling us that they had thoroughly examined the car and describing it on Car Gurus as "well maintained" and "needs nothing," a visit to an independent mechanic discovered a host of issues: shredded drive belt, front right lower arm ball joint heavily leaking grease, engine oil pan and hardware is rotted, transmission pan is leaking and rotted and hardware is rotted, both front struts are leaking / rotted - front right strut assembly has broken spring, front exhaust tube is rotted - flanges rotted and leaking, exhaust mid pipe is rotted and leaking, rear lower transmission torque mount blown, front upper right mount blown, multiple animal nests under hood. They decided to send the car out to auction again because of the condition of the car. I asked them to refund my $150 mechanic fee since they misrepresented the car condition. They offered to refund $50 but never did.Edited to add: Since the business has denied that the car needed repairs I am posting a photo of the results of the $150 inspection by Boch Nissan South, in North Attleboro. Max, from Emory Auto, wanted to research if the issues were fixable, and also made a photocopy of this estimate at his shop. When I called Max, he said he could not afford to fix the problems and would send the car back to auction. I asked if he would be willing to refund my inspection fee given the condition of the car, and he offered to refund $50. I never mentioned conditioning a review on the refund.Edited to add: Since the business has now rewritten their response to go from all caps "there was nothing wrong with the car" to maybe there was but it wasn't that bad, and I'm a "Karen," who insisted on buying this terrible vehicle, I'm going to just let the photo of the inspection speak for itself. It is pretty darn awful. Max even told me he was firing his mechanic and removing the car from sale under the circumstances. Check out the Massachusetts Better Business bureau for other complaints from consumers. I'm grateful that it only cost me $150 to avoid the misery other Emory customers describe. It's one thing for your mechanic to miss something. It's another to put out a complete lemon. I felt it was completely appropriate for me to ask for some of the inspection fee to be reimbursed under the circumstances. They disagree. That's fine.By the way, I've taken other used cars to Boch for pre-purchase inspections. Never had one take this long or find so many problems.Be cautious. Take any used vehicle from any car sales business for an independent inspection. It can save you a lot of money in the long run.

The people are nice here and they have the tools to get you driving the car within a week (I had it home 6 days after I bought it). I test drove quite a few cars and some of them had minor issues so just make sure you look out for those things. Whenever I pointed out that there was anything wrong with the car they said they'd fix it before I bought it though which is nice. Ended up getting a 2007 Civic EX Manual Coupe. Drives like a dream and I'm extremely happy with it.

A good friend of mine suggested that I come to this auto repair zone to fix up my car, and obviously I did. Little did I know that I would be walking out with a brand new car! The owner was super kind to me and was very helpful in finding me the right car. He even lowered the price for me! Giving me a nice trade in to drop the price. The company is very trustworthy, purchasing a car from this company might have been one of the best decisions of my whole life.Services: Tires, Painting, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Terrific experience - all known issues with the vehicle were clearly communicated, trade-in was painless and service after the sale couldn't be better.

I trust only this place to fix my daughter's car. They are people like us. Not people who over charge for something simple . They are light genuine people and great at what they do. Thank you for keeping my family safe!

I have purchased two vehicles from Emory Street auto sales since May. The cars that they source have great Carfax reports, they are friendly, accommodating, and very helpful as far as service is concerned. Both cars I have purchased so far have been wonderful! As a matter of fact, I had service done there last month. I had the brakes done on my own vehicle and the service was completed in a timely manner, and affordable. I cannot recommend Emery Street auto sales AND service enough! Go check them out!Service: Brakes

I bought a used 2006 Saab 9-3, even though it had high mileage and cosmetically was a little beat up it runs great! The engine gearbox and clutch operate smoothly and the car gets up to speed very quickly. The car was priced fairly according to KBB and Majid lowered the price and was honest and transparent throughout the whole process. I didn t feel like I had to negotiate and I didn t feel like I was being misled or pressured in any way. Majid handled the inspection and out of state title for me and within a week the car was ready to go and I picked it up and have been loving it more everyday since then. If I need another car in the future, Emory Auto will be at the top of my list. Hard to find a better deal on cars compared to Emory, their pricing is very competitive and more than fair.

This place is great! After being agervated about another shop having my car for a solid three days and not even fixing the Initial problem that was wrong with my car. Read reviews about this place and brought my car in! They Diagnosed the problem the same day and had my car for two days and fixed exactly what was wrong with it and now my car is running fantastic!!! This place is clean and professional and they let you know a price before they even do your car big difference from the experience I had prior to a few days before bringing it in at another shop. Just want to say thanks for doing a wonderful job and doing it quickly would definitely recommend.

07 dodge caliber, you remember cause You shouldve done it a year ago but the axle is rusted to the brake, so I had to do left side and saving money for the whole thing, that's why your guys didn't do it. No matter how many times I mentioned it even drove and hour to ur mechanic to fix and it wasn't even fixed.

I'm so glad I brought my 2007 Cadillac here to be fixed. I was always the type to bring my cars to the dealership for servicing but not anymore. My car wouldn't start after the storm we had so I brought it to the Cadillac dealership. They tried to tell me they were going to have to run a test that costs $400 before they could tell me what was wrong with it. We called Lapierre s and told them the whole story and what the dealership said. They said it didn t sound right to them. I picked up the car from the dealership and brought it over to Lapierre s that next day. They said I didn t need the test done and it was a very simple problem. They fixed it and my car is running great. Everyone is really nice and friendly. They explained everything they wanted to do before they did it and were upfront about everything. I have only been here once but I feel like my car is in good hands at Lapierre s.

Personally, I have never had a nicer car buying experience. We were looking for my son s first car for his commute to college in the fall and wanted something inexpensive, yet reliable. We did our homework through CarFax and found six possibilities at 97 Emory St. A 2008 Subaru was our first choice and ended up being the car we went with. Majid, the general manager, went out of his way on several occasions to help us get the car as quickly as he could. I cannot thank him (and his coworkers) enough for all they did to help. We took two test drives, one on the streets around the dealership and the other on the highway. We came back with a list of things that needed to be addressed if we were to buy. Two days later, he called and said they were all taken care of. We took the car for one more test drive, verified that everything was fixed, and signed for it. Majid greatly assisted in helping us get the plates and inspection sticker before we picked the car up. All in all, a low-pressure sales team, great communication, a willingness to work with the buyer, and going out of his way to help are all reasons why I will be sure to go back when I m in need of a good used car.I cannot speak to the reliability of the car, but I will try to update as we drive the car for the next few months. It did come with a 3 month 4500 mile powertrain warranty, so that was a relief.

I tried to buy a car from here. I test drove it and told them I wanted to buy it once the balancing was fixed. They told me they were sending it to get the tires balanced on Monday. I called Monday, they said it wasn't back but they would call me when it arrived on the lot. I said please do I want to buy this car. I called them again on Thursday and was told the car was sold to someone else. Extremely unprofessional experience - wont use them again and would not recommend!

Similar to other reviews with this business, my experience with this business was very unprofessional and consisted of lies and breaking of contracts. In short, I bought a car from them. As part of negotiation, there was an issue with the car I was buying (***as most of their cars seem to have issues, beware of this***), and we even put it in writing to fix this issue. They had me drive to them, wait 3+ hours, and they refused to repair anything. Afterwards, they ignore any messages I send out to them. This is confusing because when I bought the car, the main guy said to my face something along the lines of "there's no point in ruining our reputation over this, we can put it in writing." Funny how they say one thing and do another, classic move ;)There were other issues that came up with the car which were not put in writing, and I did not expect these repairs to be free - however, they still refused to fix them. Basically, they refuse to work on the cars they sell from my experience. This is a huge red flag, especially when it comes to used car lots.Unless they make it right for not only wasting 3+ hours of my time and refusing to do anything (what was the point in that?) and actually fixing the issue, this will be staying up.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE SELFISH MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE. ripped off me and my family sold us a car with a horrible transmission and refused to fix it and gave us a fake warranty!! Ended up costing me more than the value on the car, had to buy a brand new transmission with my OWN money and they stole 100$ and pocketed it from my mother for a warranty that wasn t real. Please shut down this service it s awful! UPDATE : my dad spoke to max and he was very helpful , he is working with us and an update will be followed up

Excellent customer. Friendly ,No wait, put me in for a test drive on arrival. Good prices, worked with me on a short term partial finance interest free to avoid bank fees. And helped me out with getting my vehicle home due to not being able to get a registration on it right away due to RMV availability.

This is my local repair shop and the are fairly priced, fast, and most importantly HONEST! I brought my car in last night because I thought I had a bad starter. Well the looked at it and apparently the floor mat was rolled up under my clutch preventing it from starting. This place could have said ya it's the starter but like I said they are honest. 5 stars all day long.
