The best place to get your car fixed. 5/5 Customer Service and Body work. Went above and beyond what was needed. Car came back clean. Work was spotless. Even cleaned my rims and a headlight that was yellowing. The people here are great. Definitely will never use anyone else.

Having teenage drivers, I ve had to visit Toms on more than one occasion. I can not say enough wonderful things about this company. When there is an incident , I call and they help from beginning to end. They deal with insurance companies and all the negotiating, I don t have to worry about a thing. Lucinda is always helpful and no matter how many questions or calls I make, she is always kind and patient. Tom is also so helpful in explaining everything from insurance to his own life experiences, he always has a story to tell :) thank you Tom s Auto for all great experiences!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting

My first impression was that Tom was talking a bit too much and joking in not a very polite way, saying something like I will only explain twice even though no questions were asked except for when the estimate would be ready. He kept us busy talking about his work and his business expenses. It was quite unusual experience considering many repairs I had to go through in the last 25 years. What was more upsetting, the next day we received an estimate with items not directly connected to the damage and 21 day rental for a minor repair (a rear bumper replacement). Two other body shops nearby gave us an estimate less than a half of that amount. We are not going to fix our car here.

Tom and his team are great!! I've brought my vehicle to them on multiple occasions and I'm never disappointed. Most recently they helped navigate a claim due to a storm, and took care of all the correspondence with insurance, and we were very pleased with the outcome!! This was my first experience at Tom's. He was recommended by good friends who have used Tom's for many years. I damaged my car pretty severely and the car was not secure. Bob took care of me and got the car in fast and the initial necessary work done in a timely manner and at a fair price. They even did a little touch up painting that I wasn't expecting which made the resulting work much better. I will be going back for the rest of the work that needs to be done as well. Everyone I met or spoke with at Tom's was friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with my service.

I don't think that all my gratitude and compliments would fit here, but for sure, I ll try express my gratitude in few lines.I had the worst possible experience with my Ins company, and in the moment that I need them most, they showed me yellow flags and things start getting off tracks. Through a good friend of mine his indication was precious, " call Tom's auto shop " and let them works I did it.Without any doubts, was the best move I did, starting from Maira at the front desk, and the whole team, I can't thank enough for the friendly reception, the attention, the professionalism and also the legal guidance.Tom's Auto did what had to be done, they fought for me, and they went beyond and above to meet with my expectations and forget my frustrations with the lazy and poor customer service from my confused and lost Ins.Company.I want to thank " Everyone" at Tom's Auto, I mean everyone!!,I'm very happy to know and believe that in this twisted world we live in there still people with decency, with moral values like used to be. Over the past 6-7 months, I've become a regular customer of Tom's. 3 accidents / 3 Total's. Luckily not all me or my family's fault. Tom and his staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. They're able to work with you and your Insurance company to cut through a somewhat complicated process handling all aspects of your vehicles damage and Insurance claim. A very welcomed service in my situation! Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Tom's Auto Body and put my complete trust in their hands. Tom, to you and all your staff, Thank You for the excellent service you provided me and my family. Your business is an outstanding contribution to the community!

Everyone at Tom's was courteous and friendly. They handled my insurance claim from start to finish, making it a smooth process that required minimal communication between the insurance company and me. They worked for what was in my best interest and I highly recommend their services!

Tom Sr. is a character to be sure. Once you get past his verbose style of dialogue and penchant for story telling, you'll find an experienced man who just seems to want the best for his customers.We brought our car in after a pretty major accident, and Tom was never slow to call back when promised, or chat when i had numerous questions (and I mean numerous ) about the insurance claims process. He was always informative, polite and his attitude remained consistent whether he was speaking with me or my wife.I think what made this a 5 star review was that after the car was considered totaled, we knew we had to sell it asap and put those funds towards a new vehicle. Not only did Tom quickly find a buyer (the day after I requested), but when the car had to sit on his lot for over a week while we waited for the title to arrive from the loaning bank, he stored it free of charge. That was huge considering we were very strapped for funds at that time.While I think his affect can be a little off putting with it being so grandiose, his mode of communication is mostly direct, and always tailored towards working for what we, the customer, needed at the time. Thank you, Tom Sr. We will always keep you in mind for other body work going forward.Regarding the bad reviews - my understanding is that Tom's side business, Mike's Collision (owned/operated by his son) was a lesser shop in terms of available technological and human resources. Our car was actually originally brought to Mike's, however Tom recommended we move it to his facility for the aforementioned reasons. I never had the pleasure of dealing with Mike, by my understanding was he was going through some personal difficulties, which may have accounted for his less than stellar customer facing facade in the past. It also seems like Tom's attitude may have changed over time, as all of his assertions and talking points came off as very sincere, including the final number to fix the vehicle which was under the insurance adjuster's price. This is just my experience, but it was a thorough introduction to both Tom and his staff, and I've not a bad word to say about any of them or their MO.

The people at Tom's Auto Body are what separates them from most other businesses. From expert body work to great communication (starting with answering your phone call and Myra and Cinda providing guidance in response to your questions), they consistently do what it takes for a great customer experience. I've found managers Bob and Juan to be nothing less than professional and they're wonderful to work with. Tom's Auto Body knows how to navigate complex and challenging insurance matters in a manner that results in their clients getting a fair outcome, and they stand behind their work. What impresses me most (for well over a decade of having work performed by them) is how Tom has built and maintains a excellent business and surrounds himself with great people, like him.Service: Body & Trim

I am simply gushing over the bodywork that Toms Auto Body did on my old Range Rover. The level of professionalism with everybody there is just phenomenal. Everything from paying the quoted price, meeting the deadline, constant communication, replying quickly to calls and emails. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm almost tempted to scratch my bumper just to work with them again JK... I just wish I had before pictures to show how well they did, the after pictures don't really put it into context.So... to Bob, Juan, and anybody else who may have worked on my car, I tip my hat...Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Tom has been working with my whole family for years, with every car incident we've ever had, and so when I got into an accident and totalled my car, it goes without saying that I had my vehicle towed to Tom's. Everyone that works here is absolutely wonderful and takes the time to explain the process. From helping to fill out the accident report to dealing with the insurance company (and everything in between), they are there for you every step of the way! There is NO ONE I trust more than Tom and his fantastic staff! I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a long pending body work on my Odyssey, recently moved to Ashland and since I am not using the car at all these days due to lock down though is the best time to get it fixed. Based on reviews I approached Tom s and boy I absolutely don t regret it. They did an amazing job and delivered the vehicle in an awesome condition. The entire process was pretty smooth and not only was the body work done with great detail but car was washed and delivered sparkling clean. Thank you Bob and team Service: Body & Trim

My daughter brought her car in which we feared was totaled based on several recommedations as to high quality of the repair work done here. Tom Sr was a wonder. Not only did he take all the time we needed and clearly explain what our options were, but when the car indeed was declared a total loss, he fought on our behalf to get what he believed was fair (and more than was first offered by the insurance company) for the car. While I cannot review first hand the quality of repair work, I can attest to the first class way in which Tom and his team helped us and took care of us. They clearly take extreme pride in everything that they do, and that is extremely rare these days.

Received good, prompt service from Tom's auto Body this summer - twice, unfortunately. Staff was helpful and efficient. They did all the dealing with my insurance company, which resulted in my car being totaled. Highly recommend.

Tom's has helped us through two accidents. Throughout the process, they have really acted as our advocates to the insurance companies. They have many years of expertise and experience. Tom sr. always finds time in his busy schedule to talk to me on the phone. Also, the work they did our on our car was excellent. It came back looking better than new. And even when our car was totaled, they guided us through the process and helped us to negotiate with our insurance company. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone!

Pretty bad experience overall -- unprofessional, not on time, rude when Tom realized they would not be getting my business, and seemed like there was something a bit shady going on.I went in for them to take a look at replacing a side-view mirror that got crushed by a box truck. Tom Sr. said that the insurance company estimate was too low, and that he would probably have to get a supplemental estimate from them because "there is always other damage." Bob, presumably the manager, later explained how they would try to claim that they would fix other things so that they could get the rates they wanted from my insurance company. I figured, as long as they dealt with it and it didn't impact my insurance, it would be fine. I was told that I would get a call in about a week to drop off the car. Two weeks went by, and I received nothing from them. In the meantime, I had to get my oil changed, and got a second opinion from them. The mechanic there said it would pretty much be a simple mirror replacement. When I called Tom's back and mentioned this, he basically told me to go elsewhere.I was intending to give them some more of my business if this worked out, but that is not going to happen at this point.

Like most people here in the reviews this shop is great! To myra answering all your questions and explaining things to the body work they do on your car. I was involved in a hit and run on my brand new 2020 car and I didn t hesitate to go to toms and boy did they fixed up my car looks like new!! I recently used Tom s Auto Body to install Honda Running boards on my 2020 Honda Pilot ExL and Tom s autobody did a great job with price of running boards and also installation. If you are filing a damage claim with your insurance company this is the last place you want to bring your car. Read the negative reviews on Yelp and here and you will get a legitimate picture of what actually takes place. I don't believe all these positive ones are real. The first thing you should know is you will need to give up your car for 2 months. If you tell them you are filing a claim they begin to drool Paperwork will immediately flood in front of you to sign your rights away to them. They will try to get you to rent one of their old junk cars and max out the days to collect on your rental insurance. Even if you don't want it they will encourage you to just take it for one day while they have the appraiser come out. Even if you deny this and rent one of your own they will still submit a claim for their rental which will cause a phone call to you asking who you actually rented a car from. They will also gauge your insurer for more and more money which they can do easier by keeping the car longer. And at the end of the day you won't get all your work done properly. Tom will tell you he will help you with the deductible which is usually short change and it comes at the expense of much greater costs of work he doesn't do. Tom will tell you the insurance company didn't pay enough (even though they overpaid) and you will get hacked repairs. I got touch up paint where an entire panel was supposed to be repainted and additional damage from Toms himself trying to get the insurance company to pay for it even though it was clear it was not part of the claim. You have no recourse because no insurance company will back Toms work. All you can do is sue. And when you complain or even offer to pay him the full deductible he gets angry and swears at you. I think he might do ok by people who pay out of pocket but these insurance jobs are a nightmare. There are plenty of non backed shops who will do you right. This place is not one of them.

I'm totally agree with " Chris Canty" review ,I went for estimate by somewhere else recommendation as Tom's auto body is a VIP client shops :), I was witness on a total circus action from Tom how he actually / did not give the estimate/ he work for me and let the insurance pay for everything /I have to pay my deductible/ but I need to go with His rules fill up a bunch of forms, and be aware one of his papers will asking you to pay $ 300 from your pocket if you denied to repair the car with him after the appraisal, and "game" with the insurance company to rip off. All positives reviews here are by local Tom's friends basically. Do not recommend at all! BTW most of the Massachusetts body shops are playing the same, and make our live miserable.

I was rear ended and my vehicle was totaled. And though I was not at fault, my insurance company (Progressive) was trying to offer me roughly $2000 below what my car was worth for a settlement. The amazing staff (David/Cinda/Tom) over at Tom's would not let them muscle me into such a low payment and fought in my defense to get me a very fair settlement. I was slightly concerned to sign Power of Attorney over to them but they took care of EVERYTHING and I cannot thank/recommend them enough!

Very professional from A-Z. From the minute you step in the door to the time you receive your car you will be satisfied. I was involved over the years in several accidents and Tom took great care to everything. I highly recommend them .

Does a great job fixing our cars, nice people, 1 stop service kind. Ones who'd help you fill out accident reports and advocate for you w the insurance company. Most importantly patient w their customers and responsible in their work. The only caveat perhaps is that they're abit slower in finishing up a job.

I have been going to Tom's Auto Body for 25 years. He has made a lot of money off of my cars and my kids cars. He would always hug me when I came in. This past summer my daughter's car got totaled. The insurance company asked me if I thought it was totaled, and I said "it might be." Tom called me after that conversation and started yelling at me, and told me that his receptionist told us not to say anything about the car, only the accident. He was verbally abusive and told me many times that if I say one more word to the insurance company, he will have my daughters car taken off his lot immediately. As with his rentals, he loves the money he gets from the insurance companies for his storage fees as well. I have donated to his grandson's disability over the years as well as brought cold cut platters for his workers. His son, Tom Jr., also lost it with me years ago, and when I saw him doing it to another woman in the parking lot a few years later, she and I talked to Tom about it. He told both of us that he "had never seen that behavior from his son." Really Tom?? He has not only witnessed it, I'm sure, but what's worse is his son learned it from him! I honestly believe they are bullies who verbally abuse women. All those years of business that I gave him, and that's how he treated me. All he cares about is money, which is why he's always trying to find more damage where there is none, and god forbid you don't have rental insurance. My kids didn't, and that really angers him because he can't make money off the rentals. Him and his son have severe anger problems. The way he treated me was pitiful and shameful!
