This place is an absolute rip off!!! $922 for rear brake replacement and an oil change!Called to make an appointment and was told I could drop vehicle off at 7:30. I arrive at 7:30 and Brian basically kicked me out of the shop because he was on a conference call and made me wait outside in the pouring rain. He called me hours later to confirm what was being done, we confirm JUST rear brakes and an oil change. When I picked up my vehicle nearly 9 hours later, I was given a bill of $922 for nonsense things they added on! Beware of this business who is in it to scam you and Brian you are an awful, awful manager, shame on you!

Great experience with Brian as advisor. Clear information, concrete expectations and updates during service. Ready on time, early even, and easy checkout. Has four tires replaced with alignment. All seems good!

This place is a joke. Appointment doesn t mean anything to this store. I got appointment in advance for brake check. When I went there on time, the front desk person said nothing can be done even though you have appointment. That too he was saying to me in rude manner. They did not even called me earlier to cancel my appointment. I just wasted my 30 minutes driving to & from there. No apology or nothing. Think twice before going at this place. Overall experience was hopeless.

What a joke. Called this place on a Saturday afternoon when i had a flat tire. The guy on the phone quoted me at $328 for 1 tire installed. He bumped it down to about 200 after i questioned the price, which still seemed ridiculous for a compact car, but very few other garages were open and i was in a bind so reluctantly i drove over.I get there about 40 min later, a full 90 min before they close. The manager tells me that he can't change the tire today cause his tire technician (the guy i spoke with on the phone) just quit. The manager himself says he doesn't know how to do it, and that his remaining employee is a kid that only does oil changes. What a waste of time.To the manager's credit, he seemed alright and he did bump the quote down to about 150 without me even asking. But that didn't help the fact that they couldn't do the job when we'd agreed to, and i'd already wasted a bunch of time making arrangements and traveling to this garage as other repair shops were closing up for the weekend.Thankfully another garage about 10 min down the road was able to take care of the tire that day, for a much lower price. I don't plan on revisiting Monro.

We went to get a flat tire fixed on 01/012024. The car was raised and was told the the tire can't be fixed as the damage was on the side wall. So we are suggested to have a new tire. I asked if they have the same brand tire/thread and the answer was YES WE DO!. He said the car had Bridstone Eagle tires. I did not know what tires the car had as it was a brand new car with only 300 miles. So we thought the owner was telling us the truth.I did not quite get when the owner was in so hurry to collect moneyt from me before the car was ready. I paid anyways.It was $265 for 1 tire installed.Before we were about to possess our car back after 40 mins, he came saying the car had Dunlops and we did a mistake by THINKING it was Bridgestone's!!! Seriously!!!! What did he see when we has looking for the make and model of the tires when he had to find the replacement.So at that point i realized he is not a honest man and wanted to see the damage to the tire. He got the tire hesitantly, The hole was on the thread and not on the side wall!!!! Another Outrageous lie!!!!I asked him why he told us that the damage was on the side wall, he kept saying that the because it on the outer thread of the tire it is called side wall!!! Another lie!!I do not know how a dishonest person could survive in a business.Would not recomend this shop . I can provide the pictures of the damaged tire if there is a need. I got the tire back since i know i could get it patched. He just want sell a tire and make money out of me.First day of the new years and he started his money making streak in a dishonest way!!Stay away from this shop.!!!

I needed a new battery for my truck so I called the local Monro shop. The tech said to come right over. When I got there he took my truck right in and replaced the battery. It only took about 45 minutes from when I called.

I had great and kind conversations with 2 guys working there on 2 separate days and the third call had a woman answer and she obviously didn t have her coffee this morning 01/18/2024 super rude for no reason and I ve never experienced such attitude from any of the men there. She doesn t fit in, everyone else has a professional attitude

I got my regular oil change done for $49. Few days later, spouse goes for an oil change. She was told that they do not do regular oil changes. Charged her $119 for an oil change. Not going again !!

I've never been to a more incompetent business. They are literally a tire shop. I took a day off of work booked an appointment told them what I had for a vehicle(Toyota tundra)... When I showed up at the time I said I would show up they told me they can't work on my truck because it'll break the lights in the ceiling. I said you why do you need to lift it so high you only need to replace the tires. They said they can't do it. Meanwhile I have a jack and I'm not a mechanic and I can take my tires and wheels off myself no lift necessary... If you don't want work you should just close up the shop because clearly you're not intelligent enough to run a business.

I scheduled an appointment for Saturday between 7:30am and 11 am to have 4 tires mounted and balanced. The appointment was confirmed. I showed up at 7:30 and no one was at the store even though they open at 7:30. Finally at 7:45 someone showed up. I went inside to drop off my keys and the employee informed me he wouldn t be able to get to my car today because he was overbooked. I explained to him that I had a confirmed appointment and he said that it didn t matter. What s the purpose of allowing customers to schedule and confirm an appointment if you can t get service? I will never be back

Fantastic place!! Chris was so professional and personable. He went above and beyond to get the job done at a great price. I was also there a few months ago to get my tire plugged and Randy got me in on a short notice and did an excellent job. Thank you Chris and Randy!

Me and my family have been a loyal customer for years but my last experience has changed all that. My daughter needed an exhaust after dropping off the car and no communication I brought it somewhere else. Surprisingly the catalytic converter was mangled and they didn't have the old part. The catalytic converter was not mangled I saw it myself before dropping it off and they know it. Great way of making a buck off a loyal customer

Really great service! Fast and efficient. Needed to get my brake lights done and I couldn t do them myself so I came there and the person I talked to was so nice and got an appointment the day of! It was finished in minutes! So thankful!

Chris and his team were amazing! They were able to fit me in last minute after I popped a tire. It turns out I ended up needing all new tires because the ones that I was driving on were not at a safe level. They explained everything in detail and were able to work with my schedule to get me in and back on the road. They are transparent about their costs and services and I appreciate that. I will be back and will refer my friends.

I've been taking my cars to this place for several years. I've always found their work to be good and their prices to be reasonable. This time I brought in my car with a nail in one tire and they fixed it for free. I don't know what else you can ask from them. This is a good shop, and they really care for their customers.

We have our 2 cars serviced in this place in the last two years. The scheduling has always been easy and way faster than dealership. The staff are kind and professional, helping us solving a few issues like replacing under engine cover and battery replacement with honest suggestions. We are happy with the experience and will recommend their services to others

I had an issue where I was losing tire pressure in the summer. I went to fill up the tire and took off the tire valve cap and heard whooshing air coming out. I brought it to Monroe and they tightened up the valve without charging me a dime! They are a reputable store with great management. Very friendly and not just out to make a buck! I highly recommend them.

Just was at the Monro auto service in Ashland, they were extremely helpful and they helped me figure out what to do with my flat tire. I highly recommend going here if you need work on your car done, great workers and a very helpful staff as well.

Excellent service. A few weeks ago I got stranded 90 miles from home with a flat tire. Chris and his team were able to take me in late and have me on the road early the next morning with a new tire all under warranty. saved me much time and much effort. Thank you!

Randy at Monroe Auto was a lifesaver! I had a flat tire that had the spare on it. Not only did he repair the tire, remove the spare and put the repaired tire back on, but he took the time to let me know that I would need to replace the spare due to an imperfection. His customer service went above and beyond the allowed rating. The company I work for also uses Monroe for maintenance. We have always had exceptional service! I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and colleagues! Randy deserves company recognition for his dedication and phenomenal customer service.

These guys go above and beyond to make sure your car runs and drives as it should. Chris and Randy are very knowledgeable mechanics, with great deal of care for their customers. Every time I go there, I feel treated like family. They're services are on point and prices very fair. I know some people have questioned their quotes in the past. I think most people have no clue that car maintenance done right can cost you a little more. (if you want your car to drive like new). I have never been treated lower than a 5 star at this location.I recommend this location 100% for anyone who looks to get their car worked on.P.S. Quick story to keep things fair for all reading these reviews:There is a post few spots below, that complained he wasn't taken care of (RIGHT AWAY) when he walk in the shop with a flat tire. I was in the shop waiting for my car to get fixed (after making an appointment like everyone else). This gentleman walks in like he owns the shop and asks for his flat to be fixed ASAP. Thinks his time is more important than all of us who made appointments and have gone thru the proper channels to be helped. Moreover, he insists that they take his tire and look at right away ( after very nicely by the manager, he was told that that day their schedule was supper packed and busy )Reading a review like this make me a bit upset, because some people have no respect for others. I bit my tongue in the shop but was about to recommend him he calls AAA if he needs such a URGENT attention! Some people are clueless and very rude..that should not reflect on the place of business for some that work really hard to make it all work and are happy to help! The manager handled the situation much much better than any expectations I had.So people, please do your diligences and read reviews but please try and filter from all the haters that think the world revolves around them only!

We were helped by Randy and his team an hour before they closed, which was so helpful and awesome of them! We hit one of Massachusetts' infamous potholes and still had 90 minutes until we got to our destination. They helped in a pinch and we are so grateful for that; it saved us an expensive tow for no reason, as the problem was easy for them to fix! Thank you so much guys!

He saved me from buying a vehicle with extensive frame rot and shoddy history! I was about to buy a used truck from a used car dealer and decided to have a Monroe location look it over. I live closer to Worcester, so I looked online for locations to help me out. Found the Ashland Monroe, read the great reviews. That early morning, it was only him and his one mechanic, so they seemed a little backed up, but he got me in a little before expected and gave me a whole rundown and actually showed me everything while the truck was on the lift. The truck was great and everything, but it would've costed me a fortune to repair those issues. Thank you, Ashland Monroe!

Made an appointment to get an alignment and they told me they couldn't do it because I had a bad ball joint and tie rod. So I took it back to where I just had an inspection done. They told me as well as showed me, there's nothing wrong with anything. Someone at Monro, disconnected my dash camera that is hard wired. They had to unmount it to disconnect the power. Very sketchy. Why would they do that? I do have some video of some very unprofessional conduct I think the regional manager will love to see.

Chris and team were amazing and this would be the go to place for me if at all I have to get anything done for my car real quick. They are very friendly and efficient. Keep up the great work guys and any one in Ashland, Framingham and near by places I would highly recommend them.Thanks again Chris & team for helping me with the flat tire this morning!!!
