Had a number of cars worked on by this guy. My shop is very busy and I was having him do some work for us.He replaced a failed head gasket on an Audia8 and then he said it needed an engine. Replaced that, and oddly it needed a transmission. He replaced that, and it wouldn't shift out of park. Had to eventually spend $6300 at Audi of Shrewsbury to straightened out the mess he made. Not to mention the body damage he did to it in his disaster of a "workshop". Never made good on anything. Cost me over $21000. He also put bearings in a rapping BMW Z4 engine. I paid him over $3200 for the repair. I picked it up and it sounded exactly the same as when I left it with him. He said that that sound was normal. I ended up replacing the engine in my own shop. There are many more bad experiences but the final straw was he changed a cylinder head on a 2017subaru STI. He had his father do some of the work. He was the guy sleeping out back in the wrecked camper behind his "shop". I finally almost got it back when the engine blew on the way back here from his place. He said, "don't worry, I have another block, ands can install the new heads on it and it will be fine". He installed the heads on that old block lying around in that junkyard that he calls a shop and drove it back to me. Well, for some reason he was driving it back here around 2 or 3 AM and hit a deer, causing over $10000 damage, which my insurance had to pay. When I finally got it back after six months, it would not run on all four cylinders and smoked profusely. I ended up sending it to the auction and taking a $10000 loss. I can't sue him as he is too broke to even pay his electric bill. I don't typically write reviews, but I could just not let this go. Everything I wrote is absolutely the truth, with no embellishments. Do not bring your cars there. I made that mistake, and am WAY poorer for it.

Javier is very professional, knowledgeable and cautious of timing of other people. I really appreciate what he has done with my car. He is one of the best don t hesitate to go to him!

I have nothing but good things to say about customer service and work performed on my vehicles! A1 service. Customer service answers instantly very impressed! And I ve never had a complaint , always fixes my cars in a timely manor and charges half the price that any other mechanic around is charging! I was having some brake problems and I was recommended to Javi and he took care of me from start to finish. I needed it done ASAP because our son was starting at a new school and we needed a second car so that I could go and pick him up at the end of his school day.Javi came and towed my van since the brakes were failing. Which was convenient because he's right on the Fitchburg/Ashby line.He was also very, transparent about pricing. My schedule is very hectic so he was super flexible with that too. He got the job done and done very well at a great price!I know where I'm going the next time I need ANYTHING done to my van. I highly recommend J-Perk's Automotive!

Timely service, no outrageous charges like some of the multi line dealerships I ve gotten work done at in the past. Fair/competitive prices, worth the 45 minute drive just to have the peace of mind that my car is properly taken care of!

i have been bringing my 97 240sx to j perks automotive for about a year now and i have zero bad things to say about this shop they always have great attitude and the most trustworthy, quality work never have had a breakdown since coming here and i most certainly will keep coming back its a great shop with great quality people doing great quality work honestly these boys have this all down to science and its good to see local shops doing great thing keep up the hard work!!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change
