Once again, I had issues with my Volkswagen and took it to Zbylut again. They took care of everything. U get what u paid for and love how they are transparent and willing to explain your car to the best of their knowledge. Luke and Jake are great people to work with when it comes to European cars!

Luke runs a first class shop. They are thorough and diligent in their diagnostic abilities and repairs. I trust them with my two cars and they have always taken very good care of them for their maintenance needs.I highly recommend this business.

My daughter brought in her car for diagnostics, which was quoted at $150. The diagnostics were pretty thorough and professional; a written estimate was provided; the total repair estimate was around $6k. After declining repairs over the phone I was informed that "the car is on the lift and it will take another hour to put back all the covers", so I was charged another $150, which was not in the original diagnostics estimate or mentioned during diagnostics call, simply a price to get out of the shop.UPDATE: After owner's response I'm clarifying my review. I was quoted $150 for diagnostics, but was charged twice the quote after refusing to do the repairs in the shop. This has nothing to do with quality of service, but business practices of the place.

My daughter s car needed repair and Luke made dealing with the car insurance so much easier. He was extremely patient and maintained open and regular communication with me throughout the entire process. In the end, the car came out of his shop working better than before.

I bought a 2010 Audi S4 6MT and needed to find a reliable shop to do some of the maintenance I didn't have time to do myself. I remembered driving by this shop a long time ago so I searched on Google and made the call. Luke has serviced my S4 3 times in the last year or so and I couldn't be more happy with his and his crews attention to detail. He is very thorough in troubleshooting and will find the root cause of the problem every time. There is no BS, no fluff, just quality service and great communication. My Audi has high miles and is driven daily 110 miles or more and I need it to be in the best mechanical shape it can be. His shop is very clean and tidy, which, in my opinion speaks volumes about the way things are done. I feel relieved whenever I bring my S4 to his shop because I know It will be fixed right! I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great honest and reliable Euro shop! Thanks again to Luke and his crew of awesome mechanics!!!

Overcharged me for a maf sensor replacement and fuel filter, which for the whole year afterward has given my car a hard start. His alignment was good, and I guess I needed new control arms, but he overcharged me for those too (at least $300 per hour for everything). So $2800 later, the problem I came to him for wasn't even solved, and I was broke. A few weeks later, last november or december, I brought it to someone else, and it turned out to be the alternator. Save your money and go elsewhere. He prays on old people with european cars and a lot of money and no common sense.

Luke knows his way around an Audi and uses genuine parts! His pricing for labor is so reasonable with his knowledge, quality, and timeliness! Got a timing chain repaired there and we would definitely return if any issues were to arise! Thank you!

From major headache to peace of mind. I contacted Zbylut Motor Works couple days ago regarding issues with my Audi 2013 A6. I spoke with Mr. Luke Zbylut (owner) and told him that I had gotten my brakes done at an non-authorized Audi mechanic which was recommended by family member. The mechanic changed my brakes but was not able to reset code for the Audi's "brake fault light indicator" and also when the mechanic unplugged my car battery and re-plugged my car battery some how the mechanic created error on my cluster panel (not showing odometer and trip computer). I was told by the mechanic to go the dealership and have them reset code and it should work.Nope!!! We had major issues...The Audi dealership stated that the mechanic who fixed my brakes "possibly broke the electronic E-brake motor and was unsure how the mechanic created instrument cluster issue". I was told by the Audi dealership that the electronic E-brake motor would need to replaced and cost me $1300 + tax and labor and dash cluster would need to replaced as well and cost $3000 + tax and labor. My mind was spinning! With these estimated costs from the dealership.I talked with Luke and asked if he could diagnose the issue and give me second opinion. Luke was able to squeeze me in three days to help with my car issue. Luke told me my electronic e-brake motor works fine and there was no needing of replacement and it was just brake senor, which needed to be replaced and my brakes looks fine. Luke also he stated he was unsure of cluster panel error issue, and told me not buy new panel which would cost me thousands and he would research the issue and if needed look for used cluster panel.I am thankful for Luke and his staff working on my car and saving me thousands of dollars and his knowledge. I would highly recommend Zbylut Motor Works in Amherst, MA. Luke is honest, caring individual and willing to take his time talk talk me.Once again thank you Luke and to his team.Eshwar SServices: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

After having an awful experience at BMW of West Springfield (Waited 7 hours for an oil change) found out I needed more work to my vehicle. Obviously, after having that experience, I called over to Zbylut Motor Works and Jake was extremely friendly, personable, and knowledgable. He told me to drop the car off the same day I called and they would let me know what work needed to be performed. I got a call less than 2 hours after dropping it off with the diagnosis. BMW had told me they told me they could work on it late July. Zbylut worked on my car the next day with all the necessary repairs to my 5 series. THANK YOU. Pricing was fair and affordable and these guys know their stuff. My car feels brand new. Will definitely be doing my service here from now on.

I had a check engine light come on for my BMW that is just out of warranty. Luke was very pleasant to deal with, and the evaluation at the end of the day ended up being $20 less than the price at the dealership (and probably far more thorough). Best of all, thanks to his guidance I was able to get the dealership to goodwill a $1500 repair for a part that is covered under an extended emissions warranty for almost every other model, but strangely not mine.Highly recommend Zbylut Motor Works for their knowledge and professionalism.

After I bought a 13-year-old used car, Luke inspected it and did all the necessary service. Now the car is running like a champ, and it performed great on a 1000 mile road trip that I just took. As others mentioned, this shop is not the cheapest, but I found that when I looked up the raw prices for parts online, (then accounted for labor, overhead, and profit), all the prices at Zbylut are justifiable. Especially considering the good advice that comes along with the work.

Like other reviewers said, one of the better if not best mechanic shops in the valley. Luke and his team are precise, knowledgeable and clean. Even if I just bought brand new car, I'd skip the dealership servicing and take it to Zbylut. You'll be getting honest opinions and advice, whereas a dealership you're just a #. It'd be nice to see their used cars listed online, there's always some pretty rare and good used ones available.

Luke and his guys know how to take care of European cars better than anybody we have ever met in the Valley. My mom doesn't bring her X5 diesel to anybody else, and my dad was religious about maintaining his 525 here as well. Very highly recommended. Go soon and go often...when German cars break they aren't cheap. Luke will save you money in the long run.

Absolute scammer. Said my car had 5% left on the brake pads. I just passed inspection over a year later and was told I could easily get another 10k miles before service. Also put too heavy a weight oil and caused me to run 5mpg fewer before I changed it myself. Avoid whenever possible!

I can not overstate how amazing Luke and his team is. They did every single possible job on my 2007 bmw 335xi and have continues to assist me since i moved to a new state by letting me know if repairs and prices I had been quoted elsewhere were accurate. If you need work done zbylut is the only choice you have, you'd be making a huge mistake going anywhere else. I can't thank luke enough for his continued help. If I still lived in Massachusetts I would never go anywhere else. I've even driven from my state 8 hours to luke just to have work done because of his competence well beyond anywhere else I've been. When I first brought my car into Zbylut, it was because it was having trouble starting. I wanted the guys at Zbylut to find the cause of this problem, clean out the sunroof drain tubes (they were so clogged that water was dripping into the front, and the carpets were visibly moldy), and give the car a standard evaluation. When I returned, the first thing the man in charge (Luke) told me was: "Your car is in horrible shape. I don't know how else to tell you." He told me that my car had: INEFFECTIVE AIRBAGS, loose/worn outer tie rods, loose/worn upper control arms, a large transmission leak, dangerously worn tires, rusty fuel/break lines, valve cover gaskets leaking engine oil. But these were only 6 out of 12 total issues he claimed to have found in my vehicle. In total, he estimated that I would need to invest $4550 into fixing my car to make it safe to drive. Then, I asked him if he could just clean out the sunroof drains. He told me that it would be a liability for him to do so, when there was so much more that needed to be fixed. He told me that my car was dangerous to drive and I should refrain from driving on any highway or in heavy traffic.I am an out of state student at UMass Amherst and know almost nothing about cars. So, upon returning home for Thanksgiving, I decided it would be best to get a second opinion from another European Motor Specialist, who had seen this car numerous times over the past decade. And THANK GOODNESS I did. They told me that NONE of issues Luke insisted I get fixed were legitimate. The only thing my car needed (besides the sunroof drains cleaned) was a new battery, which would cost less than $200. If another specialist's perspective was not enough to affirm that Luke was a fraud, it was absolutely pronounced when we brought the vehicle in for inspection and she passed with flying colors.Luke comes off as a very personable, friendly man, who clearly knows a lot about European cars. However, he clearly cares more about nerve-wracking his customers for a quick buck than the integrity of his own business. I would not recommend anybody to this shop. I understand that there are limited options in the Pioneer Valley for European Auto Specialists, but driving a few extra miles for superior business ethics will save you the most money.

These guys are fantastic and super professional, I've had a way better experience working with the guys here than the BMW dealership for service in Springfield.

Major shoutout to Luke for steering me away from what would have been a huge payday for him in the long run! Long story short, I found a cheap Benz I thought I could flip quickly, decided to stop by his shop first to inquire if I was crazy or not - mind you, I had never met him before - and when I told him the year and model, he cut me off before I could finish and said No no no, don t even take the car if it s given to you free . Much respect to him because A. He could have easily said good idea and then probably taken thousands from me in repairs on an old S class Benz and B. Time is money and quite frankly he didn t NEED to educate me on reliable vs unreliable older Benzes I may come across for sale, but he had no problem doing so and helped steer me in the right direction. Much passion in that shop from what I can tell. Plus they ve been there for at least 10 years now so Luke and his team must be very good at their craft. On that note: Luke if you re reading this, I just bought a 335xi and if anything ever goes wrong, I ll be seeing you!

Great and knowledgeable mechanics. Very honest with your car, and European car experts. I trust them with the car I cherish as much as I trust myself. They were expedient, quality, and priced fairly for the service. I have decided Zbylut is my go-to mechanic.

Back in 2004 we bought our first new car, a 2004 BMW 325xi, we enjoyed the car for 14 years, following all recommended service and the occasional replacement of parts that wear out. Last fall we gave the car to our son so he could get around at college. The car worked well for several months but last monday he called and said there was steam coming out from under the hood and looking at it noticed that the clamp to the radiator hose had failed. He didn t know where to have it fixed so I looked on the internet I found Zbylut Motor Works and read the reviews, I called and talked to the owner, his name is Luke. To get the car to the shop my son asked his grandpa for help, they bought a clamp to tighten one of the hoses as a temporary fix so he could drive it to the shop. After Luke inspected the car, he emailed us a list/condition report. The years had caught up with the car and many parts composed of rubber had perished and needed replacement. It was a bit of a shock to learn that so much work needed to be done and my husband was away so I asked a lot of questions and Luke took his time and explained to me so I could understand what needed to be done. He recommended what needed to be done versus what should be done so my son can drive safely and I can decide what to do with the rest later. After I texted/emails and talk to him I decided to have all the works done there. I never met him but I feel like I can trust him with my son car. He s very patience, very nice and very easy to talk to. Oh, and the charges are fair too. After my son picked up the car, he said it drives smooth as butter that pretty much says it all and I now have peace of mind that he s driving a safe and reliable vehicle. Thank you Luke and crew.

i agree with some positive feedbacks , the only thing i don't agree is the price was higher than expected , other than that is an ok place to take your car if you don't mind paying more than other places with same reviews.

Luke always very knowledgeable about my Mercedes. Great work, great advice. He has in the past even turned down a job saying it is easy enough to do yourself, etc. Great place.
