Surner has provided us with great service over the last few years since we hired them.The oil deliveries never take long. The service staff always clean up before leaving and they have a reliable 24hr call service. They also bill directly off of your account which is convenient.

Recently had our furnace and oil tank replaced. After a visit from Joe from Surner and making suggestions of what would be the best fit for our home we proceeded with the installation. The team of Joe, Victor, Rich, and Gabe arrived at the scheduled time and began the work of our new furnace and tank. They were very professional and respectful. From start to finish they completed the job in a good amount of time. I don t think they even took a break. Once the job was completed they did a very thorough clean-up and went over the new furnace with me, making sure I had no questions. I thank all four of you on job well done.Lastly, I would like to thank Anne, who took care of all the paperwork and arranging the install appointment that worked for us. Surner staff did a very nice job replacing my 24-yr old furnace after it suddenly failed. Surner removed the old furnace, they installed a high-efficiency American-made replacement model, and they then did a nice job with testing and clean-up. I was a bit disappointed that the old one had failed shortly after they had done a complete tune-up a few weeks earlier, but as mentioned, the furnace was 24-years old. Surner techs tried hard to find possibilities for repair before deciding that it ultimately needed total replacement. Surner promised to file the efficiency rebate for me for the new furnace as well.

Vic and Lee arrived promptly the day I called for a nonemergency repair. They were polite, professional and informative. Within a moment they diagnosed the issue and set to work, and Within the hour I was back in business,, with a shiny new mixing valve!Thank you for the exceptional service!

Surner was very responsive when I called and told them our furnace wasn't working. Lee and Vic arrived promptly and were efficient in problem solving and fixing the furnace. They were respectful, clean and also taught me a lot about ways to take care of the furnace to help prevent future problems. I highly recommend both of them and Surner.

The guys were very efficient.I was impressed with there knowledge and were willing to answer any questions I had. I have dealt with several heating companies inthe past on a personal level and in my previous employment. This was a very good experience. I don't think my furnace has ever had such a thorough cleaning.

A year ago we switched to Surner for our propane delivery and heating system service. The switch worked smoothly and we have been totally satisfied with them. Recently our 33 year old heating system failed. Surner techs worked hard to fix it. Adding new parts to an old system didn t seem practical. Surner designed a new system that is more efficient, takes less space, and is easier to service. We had MassSave do an energy assessment. We got the new system on a 7-year, 0% loan coupled with a $1,200 rebate. Surner s techs Joe and John installed the new system in less than two days and did a magnificent job as the photo below shows. I highly recommend Surner!

Surner services my furnace and mini split units. The technician was friendly, helpful and efficient. The work was good, the price was outrageous. I paid double what it cost just last year. Almost $1k for a half day of routine cleaning and maintenance.

They do shoddy repair work. They installed a supply line that leaked because they didn't tighten it properly then charged almost $300 to "fix" it. They high pressure you on expensive upgrades and repairs then refuse to deliver the heating oil.It's all about expensive repairs and threats to not deliver the oil.

I'd like to single out your staff member Lee Merriam for special praise and recognition. Last January, during a frigid week, my furnace quit. After several days of withering cold and some trial and error, it was Lee who came in and resolved the issue, even pointing out the errors that had been made in installing the boiler originally (not Surner). He corrected those as well. So that is why this year, when it came time to have my oil burner serviced, I specifically requested to have Lee do the work. He's totally professional as well as personable and a true credit to the Surner name. Carol Angus

Very quick to respond to what was thought to be leaking oil, but tuned out to be only water. Pressure relief valve fixed promptly when tech arrived, but I do believe it was expensive for less than half hour work and $50 part.

Called them to come fix my mini split AC unit. Charged $159 just to come out. Completely misdiagnosed the problem and never contacted me back with an estimate on how to fix it.

Don did a great job make the needed adjustments to the oil burner. He completely eliminated the oil burning smell problem so common in forced hot air systems.

My old automatic thermostat had gotten flaky and changing the batteries didn t help. So I called Surner - they re always very responsive - and Leigh and his apprentice Gabriel were able to come out the very next day. Leigh was clearly an expert, and showed Gabriel everything he needed to do, and they got the new one installed quickly and perfectly. I liked witnessing Leigh as a teacher and coach, and Gabriel was an enthusiastic and able learner. And then at my request they bled a few of my radiators that weren t heating well - that was also new for Gabriel and he and I both found it interesting. One required moving a heavy fridge, so it was good there were two of them. I was totally satisfied with their work and learned various things from them as they worked - Leigh was friendly and communicative. I fully recommend Surner. I ve dealt with them for decades and always been pleased.

We have been Surner customers for several years, and last Friday, late afternoon, we had an emergency .a drip (a pretty fast drip, actually!) coming from a leak in our baseboards. Lee from Surner was there within the hour and did what he could for a temporary fix until he could get the part needed. He was back Monday afternoon and problem solved! We can t say enough how reassuring it was just to have that immediate response to diagnose the issue and get us in a good place for the weekend .then following up as quickly as possible with a permanent fix! Awesome!

Ron was a friendly, patient, and a knowledgeable consummate professional. Many thanks to him for restoring my hot water.My four star review instead of five is for Surner I just wish the fee hadn t gone from $125 to $175 just because the water heater needed an off hours visit. It seems punitive during a time where everyone who isn t super rich is at the mercy of emergency fees . Otherwise I would have waited until mid November for hot water restoration.If surner comments on this, I certainly hope they understand this is verbatim what I was told by your employee.

Neighbors who are savvy about home maintenance and who know quality service in the area had highly recommended Surner, and I'm glad they did. Surner sent a team to service my boiler, two guys who were hard working, polite, and informative. They showed me the part that needed replacing, explained what the problem was, and gave me an estimate. They were at the house a long time, working straight through, and they detected an issue I'd known about and forgotten to mention to them. I appreciated, as well, their consideration about the house and not wanting to track dirt from the dirt basement on my floors. They were pros, they were honest, and they were thoughtful - - highly recommended.

Hi Steve, I just wanted to say what a great job your two installers did today.for our mini split air conditioner. They were very professional and got the job done quickly and neatly. They were also very helpful in instructing us on its use and showing us the features of the remote control. I just wanted you to know that they are very good guys and deserve some praise.

I have been a customer of Surner for 36 years, and have recommended the company to my friends over the years who are satisfied with the company also. The technicians have always come right away, (I had a flood in my house at 1 am on a week-end from a broken water tank; help came right away, for example). The workers are highly skilled, know what they are doing, and polite, (which helps so much during stressful choices I had to make). My very old furnace broke during the icy cold spell we had last week, and Surner got to work as soon as possible to get a new furnace installed, which was just yesterday. I have respect and gratitude both. Now I won't have to worry about getting a new water tank or boiler when I am 96. Lorna R.

There are different types of fuel service companies. Some are expensive and some are low-price. Both have relevance for the obvious reasons. Surner is a partner in your climate control needs, not just a vendor. Do they cost extra? Sure...but when you need heat and something is wrong, the couple of hundred extra you spend for them becomes cheap. Again, they are partners, not vendors, with people who understand their jobs and your needs. I've been heating my homes for about 50 years, and Surner has been as good, or better, then the great HVAC partners I've had in that time.

Surner replaced our HVAC system last week and we couldn t be happier. I chose Surner because I d heard from multiple friends and family that they are both highly competent and straight-shooters. I felt a little out of my depths in selecting a new system, and Steve from sales made two visits to help walk me through the various options, fuel types, etc. He didn t try to sell me on the most expensive option, but helped me find the best bang for the buck . I got a couple of quotes from other companies too for comparison, and Surner was also the most competitive (I would have picked them even if they hadn t been the lowest price).The installation was super smooth. The Surner team was efficient, professional, and friendly. They patiently answered my questions and walked me through everything I needed to know about my new system.Most importantly, however, I feel secure knowing that Surner will stand behind their work and will be there for me down the road should I encounter any problems. As I said above, we couldn t be happier.

While nobody enjoys receiving an unexpected repair bill, Surner did an incredible job with my recent emergency service. From showing up promptly, to calling to follow up and make sure things were resolved to calling me to discuss the charges before billing me, they did everything right. Glad to have changed providers!
