I am a long time customer of Emory Automotive, and I cannot praise them enough! I drive an older car, so I have visited them a decent amount of times since they have been in this location. Every time I have had a repair done they have taken the time to show me exactly what's wrong/what exactly they did and explain how the part works. They have fair prices and are very professional, nice people. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I stopped by Emory Automotive Services (formerly Byblos Auto) for an inspection sticker today and had a wonderful experience! The new owner, Greg, was polite, fast and informative. I would highly recommend this hidden gem- support your local businesses!

Just moved to the area and have been here a couple times and every time has been great! We moved to Amesbury about 2 years ago and were having a hard time finding a good, trustworthy mechanic. We continued taking our cars to Peabody/Beverly, which is where we relocated from.We recently needed a mechanic in a pinch and could not get our vehicle down to Peabody safely. We brought our car to Emory, which is right in our neighborhood. I literally cannot say enough about how satisfied we were. I have dealt with Greg, and he is kind, professional, knowledgeable, understanding and thorough. I know he isn t trying to get us to buy/pay more, and I feel like I actually understand my car after speaking with him.I would 100% recommend Emory to ANYONE! They are amazing!!

I was in a bind last week, blew out a brake line down in newburyport. I do not live in the area and I had to find a local garage I could take my van to, reasonably priced. I made a few phone calls before I came across Emory Automotive Services. Out of everyone these guys sounded solid, honest and knew what they were talking about.Long story short, these guys gave me an awesome price and were very professional. Thank you for hard work! Brakes are working great!

Emory Auto is one of Amesbury's most HIDDEN gems. That alone is the reason you can expect to step right up, and be amazed at how quick and professionally you get help with even the most serious of today's automotive nightmares.Greg is up to date, and very knowledgeable in his field. He has the ability to pleasantly teach or explain sometimes different options that most other garages will not take the time to even get into with you.I enjoyed seeing such an old historic building being kept in modern service - once part of the larger complexes, used to store the owners cars, way back. The building is really strong, and looking good, with ongoing improvements.Find it by driving down pine street - it's really easy to SPOT !!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The only place I will bring my vehicles. I live in southern NH about 15-20 min from Amesbury but, I will be bringing all of my vehicles to Greg from now on. I had originally brought my truck to a shop here in NH and was told it needed a few things. I brought the truck into Emory s for a second opinion. They called within a few hours and said they couldn t find the issue I was told previously. When I went back in to get my truck, Greg took the time to show me exactly what he was seeing and explained what he was looking for that would tell him there was an issue. Needless to say, he saved me hundreds of dollars on parts and labor. He is an honest mechanic that isn t looking to make extra cash off of you. Stop going to other garages and go to Emory! Today, I stopped by Emory Auto Service, no appointment necessary, for an inspection sticker on my MINI Cooper. I'm happy with the result. I was in-and-out quickly, plus they had in-stock the lightbulb needed to replace one of my two license plate lights; that's not necessarily how a 'parts experience' goes with a MINI Cooper, so this was a pleasant surprise! Got all their info on car service, and will be back, likely, as they work on domestic and foreign. I also had the privilege of meeting Rocco the brown Dalmatian and I'll admit that brought me up from the 4-star to the 5-star review. Loved meeting Rocco

Great Place, beens coming here for years when Mr. Joe owned. The new fellas, The Emory's, are very nice and a great continuation of this wonderful hole in the wall mechanic shop. Great Service!!!
