I came to McGovern Subaru pretty sure I wanted an Outback with Limited trim level. I was met at the door by Jordan, who was very knowledgeable and helpful, answering my remaining questions. We went for a test drive and I made the purchase that day along with several accessories I wanted. Two days later, on schedule, I picked up the car in beautiful shape. I m very pleased with my buying experience and recommend Jordan as a no pressure, informative sales person.

Will highly recommend McGovern Subaru service to everyone.Bought a used Legacy from McGovern that immediately had a check engine issue. Turned out to be a difficult issue to pinpoint but the service manager, Eric was awesome and made the process totally stress free as did everyone in the department. Felt like friendsAbsolutely love the car now and impressed the extent McGovern stands behind their cars and customers

I'm grateful they're open until 5 pm on Saturday! I got my car inspected quickly. The waiting room is spacious, has beverages and snacks - and real magazines! Remember those? It was a pleasure chatting with the folks behind the desk.

I did not buy a car from McGovern Subaru. I have had great experiences with other McGovern dealers but my experience left me disappointed and feeling kind of gross. First the good: The people at the desk were friendly and respectful. My sales person was super friendly and got me on a test drive pretty quick and had to go through a lot to get 2-3 cars out for me. It was good ...until. When I sat down at the desk they got back to me with a quote for my trade-in and purchase, they had about $3000 in extra stuff (Paint coating, protections etc) that was not necessary in the quote. And also the price was $4600 higher than the advertised internet price. They asked me if everything looked good and if I wanted to sign off on the quote and buy the car. When I pointed things out that I knew were overpriced, they took $8000 off the cost of the car instantly. Just like that. $8000 I could have lost. I felt sick realizing if someone who did not have the experience or eye for things that I did came in here they would literally be ripped off of by $8000. Unless they knew to ask and apparently negotiate. I guess I judge a place on how well they would treat my daughter or a friend if they went in there with no experience in car shopping. Would they at least get a fair and reasonable deal? How can I endorse or feel good about sending anyone to this place and why would I personally return after such an egregious attempt to gauge me. Really gross feeling just thinking about it.

My Subaru Forrester 2019 had a major engine issue and McGovern Subaru stood behind their product. They fixed it timely and gave me a loaner. It s 3 weeks now and it runs beautifully. It was covered under warranty.Very professional and friendly. I had bought it from them.I recommend them highly.

I came in for regular servicing on a Saturday. Mike could not have been more helpful. I really appreciated his response to my needs, e.g., for a loaner car when it was discovered I needed brake work.The cost of the work was daunting ( part of owning a Subaru, I ve been told), though I m wondering if I might have compared costs at other shops for the work.

The guys at McGoverb are fantastic. Marc, the salesperson who helped me out, was so nice, patient, and helpful. He wasn t overly pushy and gave me all the time and space I needed ti make a thoughtful decision, write a pro con list, ask questions, and waffle back and forth on my decision. Don also helped me when I got to actually pick up the car and that process was smooth- he helped me set up my Car Play and schedule my first complimentary service appointment. I was thankful neither Marc nor Don were especially bro-y. Sometimes walking into a make-dominated dealership as a woman with limited car knowledge can be intimidating or unpleasant but I had a very positive and comfortable experience at McGovern!

This was my first time buying a car without help from parents. I had never taken a car loan out before either. I was supposed to get my car on a Thursday or Friday. I didn't get it until Saturday afternoon. The communication about how to handle the car insurance to get registration was ridiculous. The sales person did not explain that in Massachusetts the buyer needs to contact their insurance and add the vehicle information. In other states the dealership contacts the insurance on behalf of you. The sales person knew I had just moved from another state.When I finally picked up the car he said I could get free gas if I write a review. As a huge people pleaser I knew this was going to be awkward for me since I knew he would probably read it with me right next to him. I gave him 4 stars... Which was extra generous because I didn't really feel that way. He was joking saying "how was it only 4 stars?!" I knew he was being silly but when I explained that I got my car late because of communication gone wrong, he said he forgot I Just moved to this state. Even if that is the case, he knew it was my first time buying a car.When I had not heard anything about my car loan information and how to pay it, I was stressing. It was a whole thing and took FOREVER for them to finally tell me "the bank is behind on paperwork." The communication between me and the people at the dealership was not received as helpful! This was an enormous amount of stress that could have easily been avoided if they responded to my emails more and went over things more clearly.Overall NOT IMPRESSED!The car service part seemed to do well.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The techs noticed that my car needed rear brake pads. The parts were in stock, and they completed all tasks quickly while I waited. I had a very positive experience with customer support. Thanks!

I had a sudden problem and they were able to get me in immediately. They got that fixed quickly while I waited, and then also offered a service that saved me lots of time in not having to come back. They also alerted me to some things I should watch for (so they won't come as a surprise). They are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful.

This is hands down the most positive experience I've ever had buying a car. The staff are good folks who understood the situation we were in immediately and nobody was pushy about upselling us or trying to convince us to get more car than we needed. I felt empowered and in charge the whole time. A few weeks later we brought our second car for maintenance and had another incredible experience. Super painless and everything was well explained and transparent. If I'm in a place where I need another car, I'll absolutely come back to McGovern.

I have always have had good service at McGovern Subaru. Since I moved further away from this location I continue to go back for any service appointments. They offered a loaner car to me to use during my long wait which I appreciated.The waiting room area is comfortable with snacks and drinks available. Thanks, David for arranging everything.

As a first time buyer, Felix made it very easy to understand. He took the time for a test drive and explain everything that I needed help with. Car was given to me same day and he again went over to explain to me. Felix made the buying experience smoothly. I 100% recommend. If you looking for a car and have any question Felix is your guys.

Had my car in for a routine oil change etc. McGovern Subaru Acton is the only place I ll go. Dave Taylor the service manger is such a knowledgeable, (very smart) friendly, nice guy, always trying to make your visit to McGovern Subaru an excellent experience! He s so knowledgeable about Subarus it just makes you feel very comfortable!I also visited Eric Holm one of the salesmen who I ve done a lot of business with in the past, to talk about purchasing a new car. As usual Eric gave me all the info I needed to start the process of what and when might be our best options!I can t say enough kinds things about these two gentlemen and McGovern Subaru! I will service my cars there for as long as I m able!

I m really glad that I made an appointment to bring my car to be checked out at McGovern Subaru today. They tightened the lug nuts on my tire so my car would be safe to drive again. I do a lot of commuting for work so it s really important for my car to be safe to drive. I will make all of my car appointments at McGovern Subaru from now on!
