Great work at reasonable prices... no up-selling. These guys really know Hondas. Friendly and great communication. Wish I'd found them years ago. We always took our Pilot to the dealership, but Advance Auto seems like they're just as competent and seem much more personal and trustworthy. Good advice too... saved me some serious money last visit! Nice to be able to have a trusting relationship with your mechanics. Highly recommended!

For years now I have been taking my vehicles to local Honda/Acura dealer service centers, never quite feeling I was getting value for my money, nor being treated as well as I should be as a long-time Honda/Acura owner. When instead I should have been bringing my vehicles to the team at Advanced Auto Sciences. The team here are fantastic! Great service, top-notch expertise, fast access to parts, and excellent value. I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on, and so should you. You won't regret it. Plus, it feels good to be supporting a local independent repair shop.

Our 2006 Honda Pilot has been serviced by Advanced Auto Sciences for over a dozen years first by Dave and most recently by Jason. I am convinced they are the reason we were able to get 285,000 miles from this vehicle. They have always been great about sticking to time and cost estimates. We've had timing belt replacements at a much better price than the dealership. The car was always tidy when we picked up. A regular maintenance stop could be accomplished in an hour. They are great about managing their schedule and keeping an eye out for something to monitor.In addition, they also occasionally have cars for sale. My son able to buy 2013 Acura TL. Jason made the transaction easy and prepped the car for him. We feel like we got a fair deal for a great car. Very thorough, honest, and detailed guys that work here. Never been up sold on anything. If they can fix something for me I always know they will do it in the most cost effective way possible. Always willing to have you stop by to take a look at what you have going on. Highly recommend. They specialize in Hondas.

I've had multiple Honda's serviced by Dave and his team. They're always a pleasure to interact with and work quickly for a reasonable price. I live out of the region, but happily make the extra drive knowing that the work will be worth it. Always a positive experience! Dave and his crew have always fixed it correctly the first time and at a much better price than the dealers. Their knowledge of Honda vehicles is unsurpassed. Additionally, they will honestly tell you if it does not need to be fixed even though the dealer said it did. Friendly, good, honest, reasonably priced service all the time.

Dave and his team are fair and honest. Getting regular Honda service on my 2015 Fit (and my Civic before that) has been quick, easy and pleasant. Prices are generally less than the local dealership, and the experience is much faster and more enjoyable (this includes oil changes - they recently changed suppliers and are now able to offer a very competitively priced oil change). They will not charge you for things that you don't need, and they explain things in a way that you can understand. Just a great place all around.

I have used AAS several times. Each experience has been terrific. Today, Jason, the owner, test drove my car twice and thoroughly inspected it on the lift to try to identify the cause of a noise. Finding nothing to repair, he charged exactly $0 for doing all that. I ve been going to AAS for the better part of two decades for multiple Hondas. The best thing I can say is that when I service my Hondas with Dave & Jason, I never ask about pricing, just hand them my keys. Jason did a great job repairing my Acura RL '06. He found the Yaw rate sensor as the problem for the SH-AWD lights coming on and causing the car to downshift from AWD to FWD while driving. He identified the problem and fixed it by the next day. My wife and I have used David for nearly a decade. We used to live in Acton, but moved to another town more than 2 years ago. From my new home to Acton, it takes about 40 minutes without traffic and often an hour or more during rush hours. Yet, I still take all my cars to David for all service needs. The quality and the affordability of the services David provides is still worth the occasional long drive.David is a skillful and honest person that you can depend on. He not only excels at the technical competency but is a man of integrity who does not try to talk you into unnecessary repair.It is a blessing that I haven't had to take my cars to dealership for the past 10 years or so ever since I found David, even though I have always purchased new cars. In my opinion, there simply is not a single reason to take your cars to the dealership that often seems more interested in ripping you off than solving your real problems at affordable price.For over 10 years, I've only purchased Honda cars, not only because I like this brand (although there are some other brands that I equally like) but also because I knew I could depend on David for all servicing needs. I wish David serviced other brands as well. Maybe it's time for me to buy an Acura.I highly recommend David to anyone who owns Honda or Acura.

I was so pleased with the service I received here that I thought I needed to write a shining review, but it seems that s the only kind of review these guys get- and rightly so! My mom has gone to these guys for years and I finally had an issue with my Accord that I brought to them. It turned out not to be a very straight forward fix, so they really had to do some trouble shooting to get it fixed. Now a few weeks after the repair the car is running as good as ever. These guys are the best!

My Acura RDX had some wild electrical issues going on! I was reluctantly thinking it may be time to trade it in because finding electrical problems can be very expensive. I happily saw an advertisement for this mechanic and they did not disappoint! Dave & Jason took good care of me and it was my first time there. So glad I found them and I don t have to go to the dealership anymore.Service: Electrical repair

Never go to the dealer again! I just took a friend's Honda van in because it was making a horrible noise on the rear right wheel. I thought I was going to have to drop it off and give my friend the bad news that she was facing a big bill. But one of the owners David took a quick look, diagnosed the issue as a missing bolt and quickly fixed it. In 20 minutes and for almost nothing he had us on the road -- honest, friendly and quick. Wow! All Honda owners in the area should look here first.

We have been a customer of Advanced Auto Sciences for years and they are the ONLY shop that my family uses for auto servicing and repairs. I have two non-Honda cars (15 and 17 years old) and Dave has been helping me keep them going with both normal services and some major repairs. He knows car mechanics, is practical and dependable. Best of all he is honest and not a gouger. His costs are fair, which is far better than dealer costs. He has saved me a lot of money. My relationship with Jason, his other mechanic, only goes back a few years. He appears to have come from the same mold as Dave.I highly recommend Advanced Auto Sciences for any auto work.

I have now taken my car to these guys a couple of times now, and both visits couldn't have been better. The service is outstanding, their knowledge of Honda and Acura cars is second to none, and their work is stellar. They specialize in Honda family cars and they make it aware so that there are no confusions. They are a popular destination for the area so don't wait until the last minute to get your car fixed as many times they are booked days in advance. If you need a check up, an oil change or a more in-depth job done on your Honda or Acura the guys at Advanced Auto Science is the team for the job.

Dave has been providing service for my 1995 Honda VX Hatchback since 2000, when I moved west of Acton. The technical quality of his work is superb. I work at MIT and know technical quality.Dave is honest, never recommending extra work for my gently aging commuting car. We debate all maintenence (new tires and muffler this summer). The second 90,000 mile checkup is due, and the question now is whether it is time for a new Honda (and which one is a good match for my needs). The '95 still gets almost 50 MPG, and continuing to keep it running reliably has been a huge frugality win for me and it has given me time to wait for a better product (still looking).One of my main reasons for brand loyalty is knowing I can continue to go to Advanced Auto Sciences with a new Honda.I am happy to be through with getting service from the dealer, which I did with the 1984 CRX and this Civic prior to 2000. I never knew who was doing the work or whether it was necessary, and waiting room times were really long and miserable. Dave has two Accords on hand that a customer can rent for the day, for longer jobs. Oil changes, when scheduled ahead of time, are done as soon as I arrive, and I am on my way in just a few minutes.Saving the customer's time and money while providing excellent technical work must be Dave's goal, because it certainly is the result. I am lucky to have this resource and recommend it highly.

Dave and his team at Advanced Auto Sciences are the most honest and helpful people that I've ever encountered when I've needed work done on my cars. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, in fact I'd recommend buying a Honda or Acura so yo can have the peace of mind of knowing you have an honest shop to work with.

A friend of mine had introduced me to this place about 5 years ago. I have been coming to this place since then. Dave is certainly an honest guy. Price is about usually about 30% less than the dealer. And the the quality of work is very good. It is all about trust, and that only develops over time. It has been a good experience for us so far, and we hope that it stays the same way.

David has been working on my Acuras (2001 CL/s and 2006 MDX) since 2006, and I wish I had found him earlier. My experience with him has been 100% positive. With every problem I have brought to him, he has consistently found the correct solution, and I have never had a return visit to "re-fix" anything. In a nutshell, he does what needs to be done, does it right, does not do stuff that does not need to be done, and charges a VERY fair price for his excellent work. I will absolutely continue bringing my Acuras to him.

I am glad I found Advanced Auto Sciences. Dave is a great guy. He is a very honest man. He suggested to replace engine mounts on my wife's Honda Odyssey before a long road trip. It was an expensive repair mainly because of the original honda parts, I am glad I did it as I could clearly feel the difference. He also suggested I replace rear brakes and calipers. I feel comfortable in accepting in what he suggests unlike other places where I remain skeptical even after the suggested work is complete.Recently I took my wife's van back to Dave as the VSA and Brake lights were coming on. I really appreciated his candor in mentioning the calipers he recently installed was causing the issue and he would take care of it right away. I left the van for the day while he replaced the part and fixed the issue. It was free of charge.He has a great staff too who are also friendly and also make you feel comfortable in their explanation of any given problem. If I have to buy a car I would go with Honda or Acura because I have access to Advanced Auto Sciences which is nearby and reasonable.Keep up the good work Dave and team.

I'm a little late leaving this review, but still felt compelled to let everyone know about my experience with Advanced Auto Sciences. In October I was told by a repair shop in Ayer that my 2007 Accord V6 needed a motor, and that they were unable to do the repair. They suggested Advanced Auto Sciences. I did research as I do care about my car a lot, and wanted to make sure it was in good hands. Dave answered when I phoned them. He was very nice and professional. I got the car towed there that day, and by the next morning Dave confirmed that it did need a motor. The car had relatively low mileage for the year (86k) and I told him I didnt want a motor with higher mileage. He ended up locating a motor in Canada with 56k on it, and had it at his shop in three days. The repair went flawlessly, and when I picked up the car it drove like new. They also performed an alignment. I can honestly say that this place is simply awesome. They are all professional, the shop is clean and easy to get to, they are quick (yet very thorough) with repairs, their prices are more than reasonable, and they know Hondas and Acuras inside and out. Although it was terrible having to replace the motor, the team at AAS did an amazing job, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. This is probably the largest repair you could ever have to do to a car, so let this serve as proof that if they can do this job and do it perfectly, they will from now on be the only ones allowed to touch my car.

This is our go-to mechanic, and we've been going to Advanced Auto Sciences for 3 years. When I visited a Honda dealer for a recall that needed to be addressed, I was told I needed to do some repairs that amounted to over $500. I told them I would wait, then brought the car to Advanced Auto Sciences. They told me the repairs weren't needed. They also helped us get as many miles as we could out of our 2003 Honda Odyssey, then told us when it was time to let it go. We keep going back because of their honesty. The only problem is: Everyone else does, too. So call early!

Dave has always been honest and fair when it comes to servicing my Accord. It's very obvious that he LOVES working on Hondas and wouldn't be doing anything else. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Accord.

Always a pleasant experience, the owner is friendly and knowledgable. Price is a lot better than dealers and the work is always done on time and reliable. I strongly recommend Advanced Auto Sciences for your Honda/Acura.

You can't ask for better service at a reasonable price if you're a Honda or Acura driver. Really friendly people, amazing service, and they'll see your issues though, they won't stop until the issue is completely fixed. You'll be hard pressed to find better people.

Stopped in on my way to work to see if I could get someone to listen to a noise under the hood and give me an idea what it was so I could schedule an appointment. Walked in and the gentleman behind the desk immediately got up, came outside and popped my hood. Told me it was my drive belt and said "I can do it right now, it only takes 20 minutes". So I took him up on the offer! Had the belt replaced in 15 minutes and still got to work on time without having to listen to that annoying squeak any longer. They went above and beyond in my opinion. Great local shop. Will definitely bring my MDX there for any service it needs.

I am a widowed senior citizen, not accustomed to maintaining my car and am so grateful to have been referred to Dave and his teamThey are honest, trustworthy, friendly , solicitous, and execute fair pricing. Hopefully , I would never change mechanics.Thanks Dave , for all you do for me
