Our car was overheating so we replaced the thermostat but it continued to overheat. They Had our car for two days before they were able to look at it. They called my husband and when he went to pick it up, they said they drove it around and it did not overheat. My husband didn t even make it home from the shop without it overheating. Apparently they didn t even check out under the hood to see what could be wrong. I am extremely disappointed because I had family members driving me to work and picking me up every day and I work in Frederick Maryland not only was this inconvenient it seem like they just didn t want to bother. I don t know if it was because it was a Fourth of July holiday weekend coming up, and they didn t feel like doing it or what but I can say I am very disappointed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Unfortunately after the good reviews and trying out Westminster Car Care, they stripped the oil drain on my car and didn t admit it to me. I had to find out from another auto shop that the oil drain was beyond repair and had to be replaced. They also replaced and tightened the oil filter with an oil wrench which wasn t necessary.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

My family has been customers of Westminster Car Care for years. We have a 2002 Chevy Silverado that they have maintained to get over 250K miles and still running. Jay and Richard and all the rest provide professional, friendly and affordable service. One recent job was computer quoted to take 5 hours to complete but Jay was able to do it in only two. Any place else would have charged for the quoted 5 hours but Jay only charged for the actual two hours required. I highly recommend them. And, their shop cat is very friendly too!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Came in with 2 tires needing replaced. They did it on the spot no questions asked, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. It was an even $20 per tire. Now compare that to Firestone where it takes an hour, you gotta call a day ahead of time and $30 per tire. Westminster Car Care was simple, fast, and cheap. Great experience, will be back again

Jay's been fixing our family cars for years. From tune ups to fixing wires eaten by mice he's done it all. He even fixed the weird patch jobs and Mr fix it ideas my dad tried on the cars over the years. Even a few years ago I even had a car with weird issues (now registered as a lemon) and he found the issue immediately (within ten minutes) when FIVE Ford dealer mechanics couldn't find the problem after keeping the car for weeks. Fair prices and quick work.

I've never had an issue getting an appointment as busy as they are and it's always been at my convenience. They close at 5 and here it is 7:00 pm on a FRIDAY and Richard stayed to get my daughter's car finished. They are reasonably priced, hard working, and honest. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Years ago, I had my car in for recommended service and Jay (the owner) called to say it didn't need to done. That was an easy 200 bucks-I never would have known. All about integrity. As far as I'm concerned I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Westminster car care!

Jay is a great shop owner. He was highly recommended and I have always been satisfied with prices and the work completed. I had an old jeep that I was able to keep on the road a lot longer than it should have and for a lot less. It s so nice to have a mechanic that you can trust and who has been so reliable.

I was at the shop yesterday and I absolutely recommend. After running a free diagnostic on my engine light, checking historical service data for my make and model, and some discussion, Jay actually told me NOT to have any work done yet. He told me what to watch for and to bring it back in if that happened. AMAZING! He also told the older woman before me that she did NOT have to have her belts replaced yet bc even tho there was a noise, they were still good. As we all know, an honest mechanic is hard to find. Also, his parking lot was overflowing, always a good sign.

I have used this place for almost 20 years and these guys always take care of me. They are honest and keep in touch on the progress of work. I usually deal with Jay, but Richard took care of me this week and he was great.

I went to get my compressor fixed. Tried to charge me 2 grand. Called my dad, found an option that was 300. I finally decided to get the car fixed 6 months later, HE KEPT THE PART AND ZIP TIED A BUNCH OF STUFF IN MY UNDER CARRIAGE.

Jay is honest and knows his stuff. It's a small shop, but with that you get the personal attention you want to have with your vehicle. They don't have the corporate pressure of high volume and turnover.

I ran over a mean, sharp piece of shrapnel and was losing air quickly, on my way to a meeting. I called these guys and they got me in immediately. Plugged the leak and got me out the door in less than ten minutes. Super friendly. Thumbs up for Jay and Charles.

I love coming here. The mechanics are really good at what they do. They're very friendly and they don't pressure you into things you don't need. They also have a lovely little mascot named CC in their front office.

I took my caddy there and he had it for 3 months. He couldn't figure out the problem so he reset the computer. 2100.00 later i had to take it back 2 weeks later and now he wants 2300.00
