Rob has been working on my fleet of work trucks for the last 10 years, both gas and diesel trucks. He is extremely thorough and trust worthy. Every time I leave, I m confident all the repairs are completed perfectly and at a reasonable cost. Michelle in the front office is extremely welcoming and great with communication, she s a superstar. 11/10 would highly recommend!! Great people!

If you want to spend $1000 for your vehicle to work for one week; here's your place!Brought my ram in for overheating/coolant leak issue. Was told it needed a radiator, said go for it, and it ran great 1 week.Now it is once again overheating.Owner says it's not a crystal ball and it could be other things, and that it didn't have any codes when it left his shop. Obviously I am very aware how easy it is to clear codes on any vehicle, and that they come back after being driven so many miles.Of course nothing is guaranteed. However if there was a single shred of suspicion that there were other things that may need done, it certainly was not told to me.Don't say "here, it's fixed" and then leave out the part that you're not even sure if that was the root cause. Mind you, i generally only drive it to and from work or the stores which are all close. If I drive it anything beyond that, it overheats. So I spent all this money just to be able to drive it an additional 10 minutes than i did before.Clearing codes and treating customers like they're dumb is also extreme snake behavior. I would have never dumped a grand into this vehicle if I had been told from the beginning that it wasn't sure the radiator replacement was the root cause of the issue.And I certainly never would have spent a dime at a place that assumes their customers are completely oblivious to common knowledge to pass off as an excuse for a failed repair.Up yours :)

2003 F250 6.0 Powerstroke. Rob overhauled my motor for me. My truck had been a bit neglected (for 20 years), and needed some serious work. Rob did it all. Full bullet proof, new front and rear main seals, new performance heads for high hp/torque applications, FICM, fuel injectors, performance exhaust, upgraded torque converter, after market fuel system, suspension work, brakes, High pressure oil pump, you name it, he probably serviced it. Even installed my tuner and set it up for me.I now have a tip top running diesel with a fresh top end rebuild for a fraction of the cost of buying a new truck.Rob s prices were fair and he did a good job with estimates before he started the job. Diesel trucks aren t cheap, and you want to put them in the right hands! Call Rob and Michelle!

Great ownership, reasonable prices and trustworthy, knowledgeable service. Call ahead as they are always booked a few days out, but if you have a true emergency, Rob will do his best to fit you in.

Each and every time I rely on Rob to take care of my trucks needs I'm left with the feeling that he treats my truck as if it were his own, the same care and attention to detail. Very rare in this world. Highly recommend, I trust Robs encyclopedic knowledge and the skill level of his guys without question.

I booked an oil change, & low beam & brake light were out. He changed the oil & filter. Replaced the 2 lights, Plus fixed a turn signal that was out. Also the tire light was on so he fixed the tire too without even being asked. Rob ALWAYS takes good care of me & never lets me leave with anything wrong with my car, unless i say so. He always alerts me & i have the choice to leave something alone or fix or replace. I would have to say he treats me as a father would !! Fantastic.

Just found Rob's by searching for diesel mechanics in the Westminster area. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Rob has the same vehicle (down to color/trim) that I have. Rob was able to quickly diagnose and fix several issues with my truck. I do a lot of work on my own cars and am an avid researcher of car forums and everything that Rob found and the recommendations he gave were right in line with the experts on the forums. I bought my truck with almost 200K miles on it, and with the work that Rob has done, I truly expect it to go for another 200K miles.Along with Rob's expertise, he is also very honest. He explained everything he wanted and needed to do and never pressured me on anything. I will definitely be taking my truck back to Rob's.

Me and my family just moved to the area and I was looking for a diesel mechanic, so I searched on google and read a lot of good reviews some clients left; and they were very positive. So I decided to venture and took my 7.3L vehicle. Rob diagnosed the problem and gave me an upfront cost of the repairs, he completed the job in the time frame he gave me and he stayed in the price. He was very professional and I am happy with the results.Thank you Rob.

Working in the area and being from out of state is always a challenge in finding a good and honest mechanic when our truck needs works. We read the great reviews on Rob s Truck & Repair and decided to try him. We couldn t be happier with there workmanship and far pricing. Rob was personable, picked us up to and from are work. I did some searching for a shop that I could trust do work on my Ford Diesel pickup. They lived up to my expectations and did a great job and kept me informed about the work being performed and any concerns they found along the way. Very knowledgeable on the Ford 6.0l. I will be returning to them to have the remainder of my engine bullet proofed.

Rob and his team are excellent. I had a drive train vibration in my Caprice and they determined it was a bad drive shaft. They called me with a recommendation to get a better type and ordered it. I got it installed and the car rides much better now. The friendly atmosphere among those working there can't be beaten!

My truck started running funny and losing power. Come to find out water was getting in the fuel filter. I had taken it to another shop 3 different times and spent 2700 dollars in labor and parts and the truck was doing the same thing. They were clueless on what was going with my truck. They told me someone must be putting water in my tank or i got bad fuel somewhere. Then they started saying they were getting injector codes with the computer. At that point i decided to go get my truck and try someone else. By the grace of God i found Robs Truck and Auto Repair.Called Robs told him my issue he said bring it in. I pulled up to the shop with the truck Rob came out and he told me to lift by bed. Within 2 minutes he had diagnosed the problem. He showed me where the diesel was coming out of the tank and where the water was getting in. It was a o ring where the fuel delivery system set down on the tank. 3 people from the other shop could not figure it out after having my truck for 10 days. I have now had my truck for 3 weeks since Rob fixed it and it is running great. Being able to diagnose a truck is just as important in being able to fix the truck. The price was fair and very reasonable and the service was great. I had my truck back 2 days after i dropped it off. Great service.I own a tree company and having my trucks running is important, I will be bringing all my medium duty trucks to Rob from know on. Thanks again Rob.

I took my Ford F150 Truck to Rob's after having 2 different shops fail to fix it. The problems were identified and fixed quickly and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Rob's. They were polite, honest and treated me well.

After several unsuccessful attempts at the dealer, I took my Duramax to Robs Truck and Auto. I was able to schedule a next day appointment and within several hours, Robs had the issue diagnosed and repaired. They asked the right questions and listened to my answers. This is the kind of service we all want. I highly recommend you take your vehicle to Robs.

Rob's Truck and Auto Repair is the place You want to have your issues resolved. I had serious problems with my Ford diesel engine that the dealer could not find or fix. Rob diagnosed the problem and got them resolved. The repair costs were reasonable. Excellent Service front to back and beyond. I highly recommend these folks for all of Your truck and auto repairs.

I have a small business with about 10 trucks of varying sizes and types, every time I have a problem or need repairs or just diagnosed Rob has personally been quick to answer questions and meet my needs and requests. You cant find this level of personal attention to customer service any more. The work has been excellent and has always stood behind his work to assure satisfaction. Honest, knowledgeable, thorough.Love this place! You will to.

For some years Rob and his staff have taken care of our vehicles both diesel and gas. The service is stellar. They are accurate, honest, efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them! To update this review: This facility is exceptionally diligent. They provide terrific service with kind customer care. Go home or go to Rob's!

Cannot speak highly enough about Rob and his team. No bull common sense approach with a wealth of product and manufacturer knowledge that shows the incredible depth of experience even for a 22 year old truck like my 7.3 Powerstroke. Customer for life. Highly recommend.

Ive used robs services for 2 years and am very happy with his work. he is very thorough and honest. he always explains in detail what needs to be done to fix the vehicle. I take my truck, my wifes car and sons van to rob. he does excellent work on all three and I would STRONGLY recommend his business to all. his staff is also very professional and friendly. they make you feel at home when dealing with them.

I thought this place was trustworthy but after I was going through a divorce I had a power of attorney go and try to pick my truck up before my ex-wife could sell it. Rob refused to release the truck, the new turbo that was installed blew in less than 2 weeks. It was taken back numerous times after it was worked on. I will never recommend nor condone anyone giving Rob any business. Rob was better off working out of his garage behind his house. Don t waste your money. Fair warning.

Silverado 2500 HD Duramax - Rob and this team diagnosed a difficult series of problems with my truck's DEF system. He explained the work, sent me photos, and found a hard-to-locate part. My truck is now running great, and I'm happy to recommend Rob's Truck and Auto Repair!

On Dec 10, 2019 Rob's Truck & Auto Repair put four new shock on the F350, changed the tire valve, changed out the bracket on exhaust system. Now the squeaks are gone. Rides a lot better. Thanks to their good work and quick service . I am a happy camper now! Scheduling some software tune up work in the Spring 2020.

Rob's place came recommended through another automotive repair shop in the area, and I'm glad I contacted him. My truck broke down heading over the mountains out near Cumberland. I had it towed to Len Stoler Ford in Owings Mills, where they tried to talk me into new batteries and a new starter - before they could begin diagnosing why I broke down (batteries were replaced 6 months ago & starter is fine too). I told them I'd like to haul it off and they complied. Found Rob, who pinpointed my issues and never tried to sell me new batteries or a starter. He got the job done on time and in a professional manner. If I ever need service in the Westminster area, I'm heading to Rob's place!

Even though my experience was done over the phone, I was quite impressed by Rob's knowledge of my particular vehicle. Very friendly and was able to get my vehicle repaired in one day. If lived in his area, I'd be using him as my mechanic.

Rob's shop performed major repairs to my Ford e350 diesel work truck. He accurately assessed the problems in the 2006 powerstroke engine, provided a fair estimate and delivered what I expect to be long lived, good running truck. Thank you.

I found Robs when my newly acquired 6.0 power stroke started to have problems.When I called to ask about bringing my truck to them, Rob himself Took the time to answer all my questions.They started to work on it right away and what looked like a injector problem ended up being a botched head gasket job that the previous owner had done buy a shop out of state 6 months ago.Rob explained to me what was done wrong & why it failed, even taking pictures & saving the old parts. He explained my options to me , what could be repaired and what should be replaced.They did the job RIGHT !! Studs , gaskets, New o ringed heads ( old heads were even out of spec.) etc.Now I have the truck I WANTED ! They were even able to finish the job in time for me to take it on vacation.When I picked up the truck it was clean & ready to go You would never know the cab has been off.Now it runs great & I swear its quieter ! I am a customer for life.Good service is good business and Robs Is a 1st class operation !He and his team are Honest Professionals that Know Powerstrokes !Thanks for the excellent jobTom

I brought my truck in for one issue (it kept shutting off while driving) and I was told I need all this other stuff done as well including breaks. They never called me to give me updates, I always had to call. Over $4,000 later my truck still had the same issue and I was unable to drive. If they actually test drove it like they said they did they would've noticed. I am very displeased and will never return. They simply did not care about the customer.

I had to get the Maryland State Safety Inspection completed and Rob's was terrific. They worked with me to get the inspector to see my car the same day I called. When the inspector found that the nick in my windshield would need to be repaired, they explained to me the regulations about windshield cracks and nicks and even recommended a couple places that they know to do good work. I would definitely go to them again.
