I would recommend Whilby s to anyone, they did great work on my car & also have reasonable pricing. They also have options for financing. Really considerate customer service too. Thank you for fixing my car!

I was driving and cut off on my way home on Christmas Day that had major damage to my left bumper, headlight, and hood of the passages side of my car. The other driver fault and agree to cover any damage. I was bless that it wasn t more damage and to have the other driver with insurance and blame themselves for the incident. Anyway, i had research many body shops and came across Whilby s Body shop a small business in Charles County, Md.They are awesome! Dropped my car off on Wednesday, December 27th, Mike who was thorough in the inspection of the damage provided a reasonable quote for the damage and timeframe for when the car would be ready.Let me tell, The Whilby s Team did an amazing job with the repair and paint job and timing was on point as estimated when dropping it off. Especially, during the holidays. I was so pleased with them, I would give 10 out of 10 and highly recommend them to anyone. Great Service!

Took my college daughters car to this establishment to get some out of pocket expenses fixed from accident. I shared with Otis my price range and the exact details of what needed to be done (not wanted to get done). Very professional and exceeded my expectations. As a female, I used to feel mechanic shops took advantage of that but NOT AT THIS place. I am a new customer and will send more business their way. The entire team at the shop are very professional and thorough! Thank yal!

My car was totaled due to age. Bought the pieces to put it back together (bumper, fender, etc). Needed a nice red paint job. Came across a flyer in my allergist office. Bought it to Whilby s for an estimate. He gave me such a great deal that I could not say no. They also work with a finance company.Within a week, I had a nice red beautiful car. The bumper started peeling and had to bring it back. They fixed the problem right away, no questions asked. Explained what happened and insured me that it would not happen again. I was also missing a fog light from the accident. They told me to purchase the light and they will install it for me at no charge. Also offered to fix my car rims.The customer service is great and would highly recommend this place for body damage or mechanical issues. Whilby;s Auto Collision is a 1st Class Service and Repair shop. I had an out-of-pocket expense to my vehicle and Otis and his team fixed and repaired my vehicle to about as perfect to be expected. Still dealing with some details to be corrected and they are being worked out. To Otis and his team are to be commended for wonderful work and attention to detail!

So... it is not easy to find but, it is like a rare jewel and when you find it.... it is worth it!For the people looking for honesty, this is your tribe. Friendly, professional and competent.As a woman, I was concerned that I would get hustled but, they came recommended and I was thankful. I had been around the corner at an unnamed dealership and the bill was triple what I actually paid with Whilby's. I am not easily impressed and I was impressed with the pricing, speed, skill and overall experience.I would and will recommend it to others.

(ORIGINAL: March 2022) My family and I were involved in an accident during a snow storm earlier this year (2022). Due to every body shop being booked, I searched online and found Whilbys Auto Repair shop. The website appeared legit and had decent reviews; which is why I had to leave my own.My car had damage to its bumper and rear left headlight, there was also some body work to be done, and I was told it would take about 2 weeks. They told me they d be in touch with my adjuster and contact me shortly. I gave them about 1 week and half before I decided to call again to check on my vehicles status. My phone calls went ignored for 2 days, until I eventually had to drive my rental to their shop. When I arrived I came across the Owner (Otis), we exchanged numbers and he told he d would have the car ready in about 1 week.1 month and 2 weeks AFTER my conversation with Otis, I received a call saying that the vehicle is ready. When I arrived: my battery was dead, I had no gas, and the ENTIRE inside of my car was covered in dust from sanding, and everything that was in my car at the time was carelessly thrown in my backseat. (Refer to pictures below)I had to jump my car, while one of the poured gas in my car since I had to leave the car running so the the battery wouldn t die. I mean, it honestly felt like I was being pranked.Please look at my review history; I am NOT someone who goes out of there way to leave bad reviews.***If you are considering this shop for ANY repairs, I respectfully suggest you reconsider.(EDITED: 09/21/2023) I called Otis with concerns about my bumper coming off every time I tried to go through a car wash or wash my car by hand. Otis assured me that a certain mechanic had been fired & would have no parts in repairing my vehicle this time around.I spoke with a gentlemen named Mike who was very thorough & eased my mind, as my previous experience was awful. This time around, was the exact opposite! Otis took my car back in & his team completed the repairs to my vehicle free of charge. I was given a week time-frame & received my car 3 days later.I can tell by the 2 walk-throughs I had of the inside that ALOT had changed. Those answering phone calls sounded more welcoming, the place looked cleaner, workflow was updated drastically & my car was turned in earlier than expected.I ve never experienced such a dramatic change in my opinion about a business. For the record, Otis is very respectful & I never had an issue with the way he treated me personally, it was his previous team I had an issue with. I was extremely pleased with my initial visit and impeccable service with Whilby s. Otis was a great pleasure to work with, as well as his workers. The recommendations were spot on, and my baby (truck) stopped making the weird noise; hence restored back to normal. I will be bringing my other vehicle for a diagnostic as well, due to the honesty and respect of one s pockets I received. I got 3 quotes to get my bumper repaired. There was a scratch under the headlight that needed repair. From all the places I went to they had the best value and service. I needed to schedule my repair for after a vacation trip and they worked with me throughout the process. This is my first time using their repair but it won't be the last the quality of the work was great the color matches perfectly on my 2022 seltos on top of that they completed the work a day early.Service: Body & Trim

From start to finish , the customer service was excellent. They walked me through each service I would need and why. Nothing short of A++ customer service. Brought my car in to get a thorough inspection of everything that is failed or about to fail on my vehicle. The labor hours and parts is within the avg to do work and secure the parts necessary to get the work done. Otis was clear on the cost as a whole the entire time so I could make an informed decision. I have to decide to sell my car, or repair it, or go the DIY route. I have a 2014 Honda that I plan to bring to you soon. Thanks Otis!

The staff was really nice and professional. My bumper hit an invisible concrete post and was left with a deep scratch. Otis and Mike immediately took my car in to begin work the next day. My baby looks brand new. Thank you guys for being professional and correcting this issue in a timely response.

These people are con-artists and if you are a woman they will go up every single week on the price! Ny daughter's car batter is dead. she has no gas in the car and it sat there for over a month.My daughter was not pleased you are a liar and a con-artist. She called me at work on Friday to tell me all about how her car still needs service. She will be posting her review with pictures as well.

Hello,Please refrain from inserting your flyers into driver's door handles, on brand-new vehicles. On Friday, November 17, 2023 I was shopping in a Plaza in Waldorf and this flyer for collision was inserted to the door handle of my 2024 vehicle. Unacceptable, you may cause damage to a person's car.Please refrain from this behavior, as it is unacceptable and does not permit me to view the organization as a reputable or respectable establishment. Appropriate measures and or strategies should be taken to market your business.Concerned Driver

I have lived in Maryland for years and could never find a mechanic I could trust. I finally found them!! Otis is hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met!!! I had a lot of wear and tear problems with my car and Otis made sure to lay all the problems out for me and told me to figure out what all I wanted to fix if I didn t want to spend the money. I recommend them highly!! Beyond excellent! My daughter accidentally damaged the rear panel of my car near the emblem. I didnt want to go through my insurance company. I spoke with Otis, the owner and I was able to get my car in quickly. Not only did they repair it for me but some other areas that were minor but needed to be addressed too. It was done quickly, professionally and was affordable.

Besides this shop doing exemplary work on the damage to my front right light, I was truly impressed with the level of customer service and professionalism I received from all of the staff. I would definitely recommend Whilby's for all of your auto body and mechanical needs.

Never dealt with them and never will. They had employees going around putting advertisements on my door and then proceeded to walk through my lawn. Such little respect to hard working home owners.Edit: Changed review since the owner was polite in handling the mistake, though I do not require the offered service. I just hope they have a talk with their employees on common courtesies in these situations.

I love Whilbys Auto Repair. I ve taken both of my vehicles to them for repairs and both times, they ve discussed what s wrong, what I need to do, and what I can do in order for me to get my vehicles up and running. The price is right for the work they do. Today is 2/6/2023 and I have received my 2018 Ford Mustang they have been working on for about a month.Although the time away from my car seemed endless, they provided excellent customer service, kept me updated on the progress of my front bumper repair and was very accessible despite being busy.They guided me through the insurance claim progress and answered any questions I had. Mike (manager) and Otis (owner) were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the right parts came in and that the vehicle was repaired in a timely manner.The only downfall I had was that they are closed on the weekend and only open during the week, however their service and expertise definitely made up for it.If you have any vehicle issues, would highly recommend anyone in the Waldorf area to come to this shop, where you'll receive excellent customer service and upmost care for your vehicle.Service: Body & Trim

I highly recommend! I have a 2018 Mercedes and needed the PCV valve replaced, which was an extensive engine repair. The owner Otis helped me, he was very professional, and up front about the cost, time frame, and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle I got to speak to the mechanic who worked on my vehicle and answered any questions I had.
