Did the job, no more no less. No X-point inspection because it was after closing, which understandable. The thing that bothers me most is the lack of communication. I needed tires rotated and oil serviced that day and could not leave it overnight (needed done day of). If you are not able to meet that deadline, fine, but I would appreciate a phone call way before closing I had to call multiple times and get put on hold and hung up on before I decided I d just walk there and recover my car before closing.No one gave me a call to let me know they would be unable to work on the car that day. It was only when I arrived at the shop that I noticed a lot of people still there despite its supposed closing time. It was then they offered to have the car serviced and they did; I waited about another hour or so before the car was done and ready. Nothing more than the service requested, no complimentary x-point inspection which at that point I wasn t expecting but they really dropped the ball in more ways than one.One of the things I miss from my old shop in VA is that they always called me to let me know when there was an issue, if they would be unable to do service on my car that day and ask me if I could leave the car overnight. They explained repairs and work done on the car after so I would be informed. It s hard to find a good mechanic like that.You could be the friendliest and most sociable repair shop there is, but that means nothing if you keep me in the dark and out of the loop.3 stars for average experience. Please do not solicit me to increase my rating. I may visit again and hope the next experience is better than my first.

I bought my 06 Land Rover to J.J. very hesitant and upset due to past experience. My truck was a total mess due to electronic issues, they reassured me of their professionalism and told me not to worry and they would be able to fix. The Customer service was 100% from the beginning of my journey till the very end, in the middle of repair I was updated every step of the way. I've finally found an Auto Mechanic Shop i can finally trust. I'm beyond grateful and have I have a new fresh view of the Auto Mechanic if you live in the Waldorf area I highly recommend J.J Auto service. The entire staff is very pleasant and the mechanics did not hesitate to take the time to talk to me one on one.Service: Electrical repair

The service at JJ s Auto is phenomenal. I dropped off my car on a Tuesday morning and for the length of time it was in the shop, I received phone calls regularly with updates on the repair progress, cost estimates, and suggestions along with detailed notes of the mechanical issues on my car through the shop s portal. The team is friendly and accommodating. The prices are fair and the countless opportunities for discounts that they offer are truly unbeatable.I used to take my car to Firestone, but even with an appointment there you would wait hours in the lobby just to have your car moved to the garage- and the cost for repairs seemed astronomical. I was quoted at JJ s for less than half the cost of what Firestone was offering.If you are in need of any car maintenance, I highly recommend this place. I will absolutely be returning.

I started having exhaust issues over the weekend so I went to google and found J.Jo s auto service center. I called and told Leny what my issue was and she told me I could bring it in. Customer service was on point, everyone was so nice at the establishment. I liked how they not only told me what the issue was but had me come back as they showed me. I m happy I found them and they were able to fix my car for me and the cost was not expensive at all and that was a fear of mine. They have now earned a new customer. Thank you all for everything today I truly appreciate it.

My husband took our Nissan Murano here for brake repairs and an oil change and we are both thoroughly impressed with J.J's.Firstly, Leny, the customer service representative, was friendly and very professional.The mechanic took the time to share in detail what was wrong (including mistakes by a previous car repair place) and even provided photos. Compared to what we used to pay, J.J.'s is very reasonable and honest. This will definitely be our new go-to place for car repairs.

It was amazing and fast service. I went there for MD safety inspection. Leny helped to get inspection as soon as possible she can even when they are fully packed. I would say that was the cleanest car service shop in my life. The work area and waiting area so clean, staff is so kind and very helpful. I would suggest to everyone.

My initial contact via phone was with Leny She answered the phone professionally and asked if she could place me on hold. Unlike Most, that ask that, she waited for me to respond. Thinking she did what most call takers do (put you on hold before you can answer). I said nothing but she asked again for me to reply.Upon her return, I explained to her I was new to the area and looking for an Auto Repair shop. She welcomed me and explained the Over Night Drop-off practice/procedure. We scheduled an appointment and ended the call. I was unable to utilize the night drop, but the next morning I went in to drop the car off. Lenny was the all of what the reviews I read said. In my own word, the Life of the Party . Very pleasant, welcoming and warm. That in itself made me feel secure in my decision to choose JJ s Auto Service. After the DETAILED questions and answers session, I left the car for service and repair.Later that day I received a call informing me the status of the car, informing me that they will call me the next day. As stated they did, not only did they speak with me they sent me videos for me to see what they discovered and was speaking of. Easing any thoughts of being lied to. All the repairs were completed within the promised timeframe and the cost was more than reasonable for all that was done.Finding a good auto repair shop thats gives Good Service, Honest Advice, Reasonable Pricing, and not out to take your money is hard. But I think I found my second shop that meet the description and requirements in JJ s Auto Service.

I wouldn t recommend this place if you have a luxury car like mine, which was a Mercedes Benz. I unfortunately had to sell it and buy a new car from the further damage they made to my car, which was also paid for btw. I ve spent over $6000 just to have the same problem over a span of 6-8 months. Throughout the process of my car being in their care they admittedly broke several parts to the car, left it sitting for a month and a half all while telling me that it would be done in a week, every week among several other things. Additionally, they had caused water damage in my car from leaving the sun roofs open, which was not open when I left it in their care. I was very disappointed especially because they are friends of my family so I had expected to receive better service... Among the hardship & back and forth I had with this body shop, I ultimately had to end up selling the car because it wasn t fixable when i got it back from them. My car could not stop overheating, I had only had the car back for 4 weeks before it went down again and was having the same problem I previously paid to fix on two other occasions, which were also very expensive. This was just one of the troubles my car was experiencing from being in their care. It was admitted to my mother & I that they didn t know how to fix the issue but continued to work on it, causing more damage. I won t tell you to not go here but to do your research and maybe consider other options.And in regards to their response, it is not accurate at all and they are trying to justify the damage they made to my car. It is impossible to drive 36k miles in a course of three weeks... when my car started to overheat I did not drive it because obviously a car that is overheating cannot even be on the road. I never had an overheating issue prior to it being in your care when you could not fix the other issue I was having and we had the car since it had ab 5k miles on it, all the way until I sold it with 130k. Secondly, if there's a 36k mile warranty, all of the work I got the past 3 times I have been, would have been free. As they all resulted from me getting work done one time. I did not have an overheating issue until my car was "fixed" the second or third time I brought it in to you and your counterpart Justin or one of the other service employees broke several parts on the car which contributed to the overheating issue. The car will not work or will shut down if it is overheating. Every time I immediately brought the car in and did not drive it. Again, I have receipts and time stamps backing up every single thing I said. Have a great day to all that read my review!

I purchased a car remotely and J.J.'s did my pre-purchase inspection. J.J.'s was so easy to coordinate with, had excellent communication, and was super thorough with a detailed report. Everything was fully explained, including pictures. Something came up questionable and I asked them to do further diagnostics. They got the car back in that day and unfortunately the parts were too deep for analysis; they spent the time but didn't charge me. In fact, they gave me a discount on the original pre-purchase work-up.I was buying a Corvette and I've wanted one since I was 10 years old. I am also really type-A and I was buying the car from NY, sight-unseen (the price made it worth while). Anyway, I was like an excited toddler and puppy, all rolled into one. I'm sure I would have challenged anyone's patience. Every time I called J.J.'s they were kind, patient, and explained everything really well. Just a lovely experience.The dealership was impressed too and they are adding J.J.'s to their list of shops that they use.The underbelly/mechanical pictures are just a small portion of what was included in the report. 5 stars for sure!!!

Brought my Hyundai Palisade in because of rear door issue. The technician send me a detailed video of the issue and fixed it. The service was excellent and the receptionist Lenny was super nice and professional, will use again and would recommend for future car issues.

Mrs. Leny was amazing, she made sure everything from my estimate to my appointment ran smoothly! She even booked me an uber to take me back home after I dropped my car off! And Justin the guy that work on my car was awesome! He kept me informed about everything from when he diagnosed my car to calling telling me my car was ready! I have 3 cars and based off how they treated my daily driver, I trust them with my racecar and my wife's car! They have a customer for life!

It has been a long time since I have witnessed customer service, professionalism and pure goodness lined up. JJ's took care of my care, as a walking in too! They did an amazing job and found a way to charge me less. I will bring them all of my business in the future. Another thing, they treated every person that walked in with the same grace and dignity! I only mention this because the world is changing all the time, this business feels like you walked into your grandma's house and she is going to make sure everything will be alright. JJ's Auto Service Center has consistently exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service. Over the past year, I have entrusted them with servicing my vehicle, and they have always shown great respect towards it. One of the things I truly appreciate is their attention to detail, as I never have to worry about greasy smudges/fingerprints on my interior surfaces or exterior paint/vinyl wrap.Not only is their work of high quality, but JJ's Auto Service Center has also demonstrated their honesty, which is a rare find in the automotive industry. Their office is clean and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Edit: J.J. s Auto Service Center ended up bending over backwards to right this situation. They were sincere and apologetic for the inconvenience and I truly appreciate that. In the end, they delivered.Everyone was nice but service is less than timely. The business has had my car for two weeks. The date of when my part would arrive changed three times, and now my part will not arrive until next Monday; causing me to miss planned events due to no transportation. The company was recommended by CarMax as part of their CarMax Care system...never again.

Very positive experience with this business. The cleanest, most organized , efficient and professional auto repair business my husband and I have ever experienced. ProsThe lady at the front desk was very professional. Her customer services skills were exceptional.ConsJ.J's Auto Service Center overcharges for their parts. They charged $101 for a belt that costed $8 at the Chevy dealer. When I asked Justin the service manager about the price discrepancy he mentioned that the price seemed expensive for a belt and he would double check my quote. After reviewing the quote, he tried justifying the cost difference by stating its probably a better quality belt then the dealership and they offer a 2 year warranty. Also, i was informed that the diagnostic fee would be waived if I decided to allow them to repair the faulty parts. The lady at the from desk apologized for not clarifying that waiving the diagnostic fee was only for their brakes service. She offered to pay the diagnostic fee out of her own pocket which I declined and just paid it.

Great service! I spoke with Justin who was upfront and honest about everything. The dealership attempted to service my mothers vehicle and failed while still attempting to charge a thousand dollars. Brought her car here and the problem was found and fixed the same day it was brought in, without being overcharged. I will use them for any future car issues.

This place was simply home. From the neatness of the main office to the garage, the friendly atmosphere, the calm staff, everything was right about this workshop. The expertise of staff members to access the problem with your vehicle and offer probable solutions is highly commendable. The estimate given were also very fair compared to what similar workshop charges. Finally, Leny was simply exceptional. I highly recommend this place.Service: Air conditioning

I am very pleased with J.J. s. Everyone was very nice and kept me updated with the repair of my car. I didn t have an appointment. Through AAA my car was towed there over the weekend after it broke down leaving me stranded. I used the drop box to explain what happened and how my car ended up there. Early Monday morning Justin called me to discuss what happened and kept me updated. I got my car back repaired the next day. My car is old but they actually had the part needed. Thank you J.J. s!

My daughter recommended J &J's Auto Service so I decided to have them service my truck. They were incredibly friendly and thorough in their recommendations after I described the issues. I was very impressed with the level of consideration that was taken for someone who was a first time client. The mechanic, Eudaro was able to find and fix an issue that the dealership couldn't nor could the find the issue.. I will definitely continue to take my truck to them for my services .
