Rusty is the man! He knew what the issue was with my car. We had great convo. & he has a positive funny personality and great to work with. I wanted to leave this review earlier but it came to mind I didn't give his services a review & I just had to. There were two parts that may have been causing the issue, but he wasn't able to tell until he took a good look at each part. He was very honest that only one part needed replacement, very much appreciated! On top of that, my wife's credit card wasn't working when I went to get the car and pay for it & Rusty was kind enough to let me take the car home & pay for it the next day! I really needed it to take my little one to school the next day & this was very convenient. I'm very grateful! My car is running outstanding! If I could give Rusty more than 5 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I were travelling through the area when our car started having issues. We planned on driving over 8 hours that day, and was trying to make a surprise birthday party. We called Rusty at 8 AM, and he got us in at 8:15 and sent us off to iHop to get breakfast while he fixed the car. He was so honest throughout the process and kept our spirits high when we were so stressed. He fixed our car before we were even finished with breakfast and kept us laughing the whole time. Thank you Rusty!!

I called Rusty first thing Saturday morning because my car died while driving the night before, while I was in Maryland on a road trip. I was supposed to return to Massachusetts on Saturday for my mother's birthday, and Rusty managed to squeeze me in first thing Saturday morning. He diagnosed the excess of flashing lights on my dashboard in minutes, and sent me across the street to IHOP for breakfast. By the time I finished my pancakes, Rusty was calling me to say the car was ready and that I'd be able to drive north to my mother's birthday celebration. I'm eternally grateful to Rusty for squeezing me in without an appointment, for rapidly ordering the part (he called all the other shops in town until someone said they had it), and for installing the new sensor quickly. After researching mechanics on the Waldorf southern Maryland area, Coleman's stood out the most because 1) it was open on Saturday 2) the strong positive reviews. After getting service done on my car Rusty is super knowledgeable, super friendly and amazing sweet. Not only did he fixed my car he let me try it before final payment. I definitely will be bringing my car here for any future services. It was literally Heaven sent that I landed on this shop out all the surrounding ones.

Phenomenal mechanic, Rusty is down to earth and a man of his word. His prices are good and his craftsmanship is even better. If there is one negative it would be that because he isn't a high demand often you may have to wait a little bit to get your car in to him.

Great prices in comparison to a dealership. I have taken my vehicles and have been satisfied each time. I highly recommend. I have not had to bring my car back for a second revisit of the same problem which is important to me! I know you will not regret going to Coleman's automotive repair service!

The world needs more people like Rusty Coleman. We are towing a trailer on a trip from Florida to Massachusetts. Somewhere in Maryland, the muffler on my SUV cracked open. We looked up local mechanics and called Rusty who said he would take a look at it. He called around but couldn t get his hands on a new muffler for two days, which was a no-go for us. He said they would patch it up so we could get back to Massachusetts to get it replaced. They basically dropped everything to get us back on the road as soon as possible. When it was fixed, he didn t even want to charge us for it - just asked that we tip the man who did the patch job. This man is an honest businessman. He is humble and kind and funny and generous. He is incredibly knowledgeable and enjoys his work. I would highly, highly recommend him.

Man this guy is the best. Once I find a good mechanic, they will always fix my vehicles until I can afford it no more. But with Rusty, he does great work and very affordable. Take a look at the pictures and you will see my vehicle. He replace my transmission and my engine. My vehicle has close to 300k miles on it and he is keeping it moving. All my vehicles he works on.

These guys know everything, seems like they don't even need to use the diagnostic machine lol. They're straightforward and very knowledgeable when it comes to cars. The prices are very reasonable and the owner is very humble and friendly.

On way to Smyrna DE in 2003 Mercury. In Waldorf MD car gauge indicated that it was running hot. Grandson got out of car to check engine. Noise was loud under hood. Grandson checked GPS to find nearest auto shop. We were approximately 5 minutes from Coleman's automotive. We went there hoping that it was not closed. It wasn't. The owner came out & checked. Immediately he determined that the AC fan to cool the engine while the air condition was running was faulty. He said he could fix it. He ordered the part. Once he rec'd it he put it on the car. We waited about 1.1/2 hrs for completion & we were on our way. The breakdown was bad but we were in the right place to receive service on a Sat. afternoon. The owner was great & he provided awesome service to us in our time of need. A negative became positive thanks to Coleman's automotive.

The owner at Coleman's Automotive is personable, knowledgeable, honest and experienced. Above all, he is a straight shooter who will give you the truth about your car and will not cheat you with shoddy work and repairs you don't need and didn't ask for. He has saved me close to 10 thousand dollars over the last three years...seriously.Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

I would recommend Mr. Coleman for any and everything car related. I own a Jeep Wrangler and I recently can across a problem with one of my lifters. I went to another mechanic and he told me he wouldn't do it and all he could do is replace the entire motor ($6000). I then went to Mr. Coleman and he told me how to do it step to step and even let me borrow one of his tools to work on it. I am more then grateful for everything Coleman Automotive has done for me a my vehicles.

Stopped in for a transmission issue. Rusty had us pull over and he went in and got a dipstick. He rapidly diagnosed the issue to low fluid levels. Highly recommend!!

I initially took my 07 Chevy Avalanche to the Dealer for "engine problems", they wanted close to $9,000 to replace the manifold, cams and the components, but could offer no guarantee on how long it would last. A friend told me about Coleman's I was a bit reluctant at first, but nevertheless I took my vehicle to him and it was a pleasant surprise. He suggested that I get a Jasper Engine to eliminate any future problems or issues with the Engine. His price was less than half the price that the dealer wanted. I've since taken the vehicle back for the 1,000 mile break-in, he changed the oil and serviced the vehicle for no extra charge. Rodney Coleman and his shop are "The Real-Deal". Knowledgeable, reasonable and fair pricing, plus GREAT customer service.

The Best shop in Waldorf.. I called and Mr Coleman answered.. I asked him to help me get ready for my road trip drive from Waldorf to Arizona... As they say in the barber game he looked at me and said Say No More .. I went back to the barbershop.. 2 maybe 3 hours later he called.. I went to drive it for the first time since that morning...Ni@@A I m doing donuts in the parking lot lol ... My car is at its best because of him and his great team at the shop .... I came here for my breaks and rotors to be repaired and replaced the service was very professional prompt on time kind most certainly my number one go to place for all my mechanical needs last but not least price unbeatable

Paid $300 to get window fix.Window is crooked and it won't close all the way. Now theres a gap and I have to close it by hand. I tried calling no answer. I emailed and it was read but no answer. Hopefully theres a way to get my money back or this situated Because the window is obviously not fixed. I just want them to adjust it correctly.*****Update *****Heyyy they actually called me back some time later and offered to fix it asap.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND APPRECIATE THE SERVICES RECEIVED FROM THE COLEMAN TEAM. I KNOW W/O A SHADOW OF DOUBT, THAT MY CAR, IS ALWAYS IN GOOD HANDS. THEY ARE VERY HONEST AND I APPRECIATE, THAT THE MOST.
