The manager was very helpful. I called and he told me to bring the vehicle in and the MD inspection was performed within 30-45 minutes. I will return for vehicle maintenance.

I have taken two of my vehicles to AYT for service, and have never been disappointed. My most recent vehicle had been having some brake issues, and the dealership continually said nothing was wrong. Henry and his team were able to identify the problem, and fix my issue in only a few hours. They have a repeat customer for life!

Great local shop. Visited for a state inspection and was able to drop off the vehicle, have it inspected, and then return for a pick-up in good time. I appreciated the communication from both the reception staff as well as the tech when I had a question about the inspection. I'd go here again.

Broke down and AAA recommended to be towed here. The people her are fantastic. Customer service was outstanding. They went over everything I needed or could wait and let me make the decision of what to fix. The mechanic went over the repairs with me before they closed everything up. Highly recommend this place!

Ridiculously poor service! Five days for routine maintenance and food in a freshly detailed car! I am afraid of what kind of repairs they made if they can be that trifling!My car had been completely detailed and the protective paper was still on the floor on the driver's side. The following day, Thursday, my husband took it to Tommy's AYT at the intersection of 725 in Upper Marlboro for routine maintenance. The car was not ready until Tuesday the following week.When I got in the vehicle and removed the paper, I noticed a small piece of what appeared to be something fried sticking to the driver's seat and there were crumbs on the mat. There were more crumbs on the passengers side along with other debris. The manager claimed it came from taking the air filter out of the car. He said he would have to buy a vacuum for next time.We only went there because it was close to home. I would rather drive the extra forty five miles to the dealership to have my car done well with good service. Tommy's charges just as much as the dealer - don't waste your money. Looking through the reviews all the good ones were over a year ago!Service: Auto maintenance

Every visit is an experience. I like the fact that when they work on your vehicle you re able to understand the diagnosis, what needs to be fixed or replaced, and the pricing.

I came in on a friday for my mirror guy said they was closing early to come in fast. I get there was told they would have to replace my whole mirror but they have same exact car and to give a call back monday. I call today explained who i was i was put on a long hold then hung up on. I called back and was sent to voicemail. I will be taking my money else ware.Service: Auto glass repair

Great customer service, but the mechanics don't know what they are doing. Took my truck to fix the fuel gauge cluster, wheel alignment, and front knuckle and ball joint. Got convinced the rear shocks needed replacement, they couldn't align the truck and got charged to replace the fuel pump and the cluster wasn't fixed. To top it off the fuel pump they installed failed 2 weeks after.

Absolutely Amazing Customer Service! Darrel you get the real MVP for helping a customer who was stranded with a flat tire. Typically I have good service. All you had to do was tell me you were running behind. I was in the lobby. Be instead you have me wait 90 mins. And still don t even look at my car. NOT COOL!!! Over 10 year relationship with your company. NOT COOL!!!!

Brought car in to have a radiator replaced. Took them forever to replace because they couldn t figure what radiator I needed (very odd to me) and ordered 3 before they got the right one. Fast forward a month later I go to get an oil change somewhere else and they can t get my hood open. I take it back to AYT because they were the last people to touch my car and go under the hood. After checking it out they tell me I need a new latch and some bracket and of course tell me it s wear and tear. My hood was perfectly fine before they touched my car. I will not be back in this place again and will not recommend

OK, this place may not look like much. But it's an auto shop - large, but nothing fancy. And they were helpful, thorough, and quick when we needed them. We were on our way to points south on US301 when one wheel's brake started dragging. We stopped just outside Upper Marlboro, found Tommy's in the GPS and gave them a call. They said to come on over. By the time we (slowly) drove the mile or two to them, the brake was seriously slowing forward travel.Long story shortened - we were treated very courteously start to finish. Took less than an hour for diagnosis (rotor, pads, caliper, flush and fill), then about another hour to get parts and put everything back together. I've had oil changes that took longer! A little over two hours after pulling up to their front door, and we were back on the road. The work is guaranteed, and backed up by a network that can be tapped even if there are later problems well down the road from the original shop. It's hard to imagine a better result, and I would definitely go back to Tommy's again if the occasion warrants.

The front desk folks are wonderful. However, I had my tint removed and Carlos damaged my windows and got chemical and glue residue all over the inside of my vehicle. I took it back to have him fix it, it sat untouched for a week and a half. He said it would be done on Monday, came on Monday after 3 pm and it hadn't been touched. Never again.

Mechanics are sleazy Doesn't stand by its work. Had brakes replaced along with brake sensors. Was told if brake light didn't go off to bring it back. Mechanic would not diagnose problem without charging again even though I was told you come back if I had a problem with their work

First off the first time I went there I didn't have any issues...it was back in December 2019 when I had a wheel hub bearing replaced on my front Pontiac and then I had the right replace less than a month later because the financial difficulties plus it wasn't bad.. Even though I know to change things in pairs because I do my own car repair work as well. But I took it there to have the right front wheel hub bearing cost $389 to have it done. Then I get in my car to leave there for their facility in upper Marlboro lot less than 500 feet of leaving I heard a clunking noise turn my car right back around they pulled it into the shop and it was 4:50pm getting ready to close time . they put it up on the lift and notice that the newly replaced hub seal had blown out. Now I know the only way you can blow out a new wheel hub bearing is either,One - the faulty part which it wasn't defective because I already bought them in pairs when I bought them and December had to wait a month later to put the right one on and they put the right one and I left the freaking shop the CV joint axle got messed up because of them jamming it into wheel hub bearing without taking everything apart to do the job right and broke my axle. I was crying and upset because I spent $350 pull away in my vehicle with a worst running car. Tommys stated if I bought another right wheel hub bearing that he would give me a half price deal on putting other one on if I purchase another right hub bearing. I work on vehicles but I had taken my car to a mechanic and ask them how that process could had happened and he explained it to me even though I already knew I needed exact proof and he said that they maneuvered the axle around out of the old hub and maneuvered it back into the new hub and it knocked the gears out of the axle closest to transmission. Not only did it cost me over 300 to get that done and get ripped off from him I had to buy a new axle 400 and another right wheel hub hundred bucks and I done it myself and I'm a female 43 years old and it runs great cuz I did the job right. Do not under no circumstances take your vehicle here or wine their employees were rude because they were being held up from leaving the shop that day when was their own fault and I heard a guy in the background stating hurry up it's not our F***in ssue!!! but it is your (explicit) issue when you receive lawyer papers come in the mail and you don't see any customers..

This Place is the worse. I been living in this town since 1990s and Tommy still owns itm idc what the sign says. They are the most dishonest people I ever meet. Never take yout hete. Lairs who love to still peoples money. Not for anything including inspections, lights etc. They will fail u just to get more.money from.u.

My good friend has got soo ripped off by this place. He went in for one issue & now it seems soon as that is fixed, another thing goes wrong. Extremely suspicious! If you want to get something fixed for another thing to go wrong, come to this shop. Beyond ridiculous!

Terrible experience. I would highly recommend that you take you automobiles else where for service. I had my water pump and thermostat replace there and 11 months later I was informed I needed another. I returned there to have them replace since It should ve been under warranty but was informed it was not. After they quoted me $750 to replace both I regretfully agreed. When I arrived to the shop to pick up my truck they informed me my total was $1200 and not the amount i had agreed upon when quoted. Terrible experience! I would not return there and have been in touch with BB. As well.

Wouldn't recommend, courteous but dishonest and not upfront. I would not use their services again. Once your car is in their hands your at their mercy, they tic tac fees on that become excessive for minor repairs. Unethical to me.

Needed to get my u-joint replaced on my truck. I could do it myself but didn't feel like getting ramps, tools, etc. Very cheap part and about an hour repair. However, something I wouldn't mind paying someone to do... Got a reasonable estimate (~2hrs I figured based on rate). They VERIFIED that it was indeed the ujoint (not just replacing because I said so) and they replaced it. Nice to have a local shop in the neighborhood. Very nice staff too.To be honest, I was going to pepboys but saw too many negative reviews.

Took car and was told my transmission was bad and I knew it couldn't be the transmission so I took my car Chevy and was told it was my tires and shocks smdh how the hell did Tommy's auto clinic think it was my transmission? bad business and very sad. Anyone taking their car here should be very careful because it's clear they dont care

I came in just to get an estimate, but the systems were down. Came back a week later, thr systems were still down. How do you run an autobody business when you cannot give estimates on services? The people that work there do not care about customers and the customer service was piss poor. Absolutely no effort.

I was there with my best friend. She had her car towed to this particular shop to have one of her tires replaced. Unfortunately, they didn't have the tire she needed so she had to get her car towed to another shop.
