Whomever worked that front desk today answering phones is so unprofessional, poor communication especially knowing people have no knowledge of cars. Rude and should not be giving out and customer service to anyone. Customer service at these businesses have gone straight out the door people cannot communicate effectively yet be a good person to other people especially with people not knowing the terminology that they use when it comes to maintenance of cars. I will never ever try to communicate with anybody by phone at this business It is horrible and most importantly nasty and try to be minimizing to women.

This location is an absolute nightmare they have waisted my time and money countless times and I hate you freeloaders. Please hire someone who can do their job and the system fixed as well. I get the wrong part every time. EDIT sd tge wrong fluid as well as arguing with ne

Worst place in the world to work! The personnel department is atrocious! You'll have better luck winning the lottery than getting a pay raise. Even when your contract says you're do more money, they find a way to fire you! Steer clear! The parts they sell are not even 2nd rate!

These Guys were professional, cordial, and welcoming. They were having a conversation when I walked in the store one of the guys paused the conversation by saying "lets take care of this customer 1st when can resume this convo once she leaves." He was definitely old school and I can appreciate a Man with manners. I just needed power steering fluid but they proceeded to assist me in my purchase to be sure I brought the right product. I didn't spend much time in the store but the hospitality was much needed. The guys directed me to the correct aisle I needed and older gentlemen walk with me & asked more questions to be sure I got what I was in search of. They asked me if I needed anything else and sent me on my way. Thank you guys for making it easy and keeping it simple. MASK ARE REQUIRED INSIDE THE STORE!

These guys ALWAYS SHOW UP for work! I never expected the staff to all be mechanically inclined...and so helpful. I always get exactly what I need...never sold a bunch of junk...SALVO is my first stop for every car need. Love this place and the staff!

Even though they didn't have the part I needed, the cashier went above and beyond to try and find it. When he put the name of the part in the computer, it was very hard to find. After 2 refunds, I gave up. Great customer service!!!! Even the other cashiers were very pleasant.

In and out so quickly that I hardly noticed that I was in there. Needed brake light bulb. Guy was in the parking lot helping out another customer when I asked if he could look to see what bulb was out. He had it almost ready to go upon entering the store. Paid and within a couple of minutes, I was back on the road! Kudos to a trusted team of salvo's that I've been going to since the mid 80's!

Talk to parts department over phone about a window motor for my car. Was told they have part. Drove 40 minutes to salvos on Loch Raven just for them to tell me that they didn't have the part they said that the part shows up in the computer but they didn't have it in stock very disappointed they should check first and make sure they have the part before telling the customer that they dude have the part and stop what he will update a computers. So, if you Eva X4 Parts over the phone make sure you ask the parts person to check the shower to make sure they do have it in stock and it's not a computer error. For this reason I give them only two stars

ought an alternator for my Honda odysseys and the voltage was running 17.6 volts. Busted my headlights. I took it back for a replacement and the new one they gave me broke the next day. I have my car towed all the way from Assateague island to Baltimore. For two defective alternators used for only a couple of days. And they will not change it or return. Showed them all receipts and they will not honor. Bad customer service too

Salvo is one of my go-to places when looking for parts. Members of the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to locating the proper part and even additional insight about parts many times. I believe the customer service has gotten better over the last 5 years.

Visited to return a car battery that was 8 months old and still under warranty. Simply wanted to exchange it and brought documentation from the Firestone located across the street that the battery was underperforming and declining in performance as well since this was the second check.The employee who serviced me, Mark unbelievably rude and made it the most unpleasant visit at any auto parts store, ever! After he made me disconnect it from my car and bring it inside, he tested it with his handheld device and told me it was good. My response was that it was no longer under a load and could be faulty. More importantly, I had the documentation with me from Firestone reflecting 2 visits indicating declining performance . He never looked at it and told me that he couldn't make the exchange. I very calmly expressed that I wanted a new battery since this was a warranty issue. He had an ouburst which was totally unwarranted.I was calm the entire time and asked one of the other two employees for management contact info.I've called and left a message, but no response. No way to email via website.I will never go there again nor will I refer business.

Staff is willing to help with unusual part requests, orders are filled promply with a call when parts are in. Prices are very reasonable for this area. Many of the counterpeople are very knowledgeable! Including the lady I have dealt with many times. She is what we would want and expect in a parts house professional counterperson.

Great customer service haven't been in there since they moved across the street the new store is clean and well organized used to hate going in there before because it was kind of sketchy but now like I said previously clean organized and good service

I stood in line for close to 10 minutes, i finally get to the front and the guy behind the counter took forever to find a part number, after 10 more minutes of waiting he tells me to stand to the side and decided to help another customer in the middle of helping me, then i was redirected to another sales associate only to be told i spend 30 minutes in the store waiting on a part that they didn't have!

Went To Salvo Last Evening, With My Brother. My Battery Had Died, And I Needed To Get A Replacement. I Had Purchased The Battery From Them Last Year, But I Couldn't Find My Receipt.Well I Was Pleasantly Surprised When I Provided My Name, And The Purchase Information From Last Year Showed Up In Their System, Indicating That The Battery Was Still Under Warranty. So I Was Able To Get A New Battery For Free!!! More Spending Money For Me!!! Yaaaaay, Salvo Auto Parts!!!!

employees at Taylor Ave Salvo are so down to earth > they no how to take sec socialize with a customer "hey how are you" i even noticed 1 employee helping a customer on the phone by talking him thru the problem > good bunch peeps there : )
