Amazing experience. They picked me up and dropped me off. Explained my options. Even though they were busy they got me in quickly for a quote. I would highly recommend RS automotive.

I love feeling that the primary concern is that I get the best possible service for my car. So often lately I feel I need to be on the defense making sure a shop is not looking to squeeze every possible dime. Not here! Honest and reliable!!

Great service.The young man who answered the phone and dealt with the front desk was so kind and attentive. The service was done quickly and very professionally. This is a place I would gladly have do more work on my vehicle in the future.

I am a new customer. Jose was very kind &professional. I was looking for a great autoshop I could trust because the shop I was with for many years relocated long distance.RS evaluated my car, did a safety inspectionand changed my oil. My car was in good shape. Recommend new tires later, notneeded yet. My husband is a veteran and Jose told us they offer military discountson future work. I am very pleased withthis shop. I don t normally bother with reviews. However, this is the best auto repair experience I ve ever had and it merits a good review.The owner, Mr. Doley, and his assistant Jose, are incredibly kind and decent people. They originally gave me a rough estimate of just over $2,000 to replace the turbo in my car. A few days later, when I brought the car in for inspection and an official repair quote, they informed me that the price would be $1,700, $300 below the initial estimate. They changed the oil and oil filter free of charge, out of concern that some debris from the turbo might have gotten into the oil and would damage the engine. The car is running very well since the repair.Additionally, their shop is immaculately clean and everything inside the business gives an air of care and attention to detail. The owner and I had a delightful conversation when I went to pick up my car and he even ended up showing me pictures of him and his wife meeting the Dalai Lama back in 2018! The whole experience turned what was initially a nightmare (car s check engine light came on in the mountains western Maryland, with a 4x8 trailer with all my belongings in it en route to New Mexico) into one filled with silver linings.There is a premium on customer service at this establishment that is a rare thing in today s world. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!Service: Oil change

I've had several visits here and an inspection, and I've always been happy with their work. They've also been willing to work with my limited budget - without making me feel bad about it.On my last visit my car had issues right before a big trip, and they had it ready to pick up the next day! Excellent service and communication from the front desk too.

My radiator decided to quit on me while I was on vacation in Tacoma Park. Luckily someone recommended R S Automative to me while my car was smoking at a red light. The staff was amazing and put a rush on my parts and got me back on the road in 24 hours. Not only did they fix my radiator but also did a few other repairs like fix my turn signal, without even being ask. They went above and beyond for me and as a queer woman, I felt respected and I think the price they gave me was fair. Absolutely recommend.

They were SO helpful on the phone looking at a potential issue. They caught a recall notice that had gone un-communicated and shared this to my benefit. I REALLY appreciate the willingness to assist from the beginning.

Amazing customer serivce!I couldn't thank these guys enough for getting my car back to so quickly there were able to accomadate my schedule for an oil change and even stayed late to finish a tune up on my wifes car because they knew we needed it for a our kids doctor appoinment. I would like to fully endorse RS automotive! My daughter was driving her car in MD and tge rear differential and driving shaft dropped. She spun around on the highway. We had the car towed to RS automotive due to the fact that this facility was AAA suggested. The owner Doley and Jose were absolutely fantastic. Jose helped us fugure out that a shop in NJ is the one that screwed up the axel that they replaced. Jose went above and beyond by getting on the phone with me to the company in NJ to explain everything! They dealt with many phone calls from me and were very patient, kind and caring not only about the car but for my daughter and us, even though we are out of state! This is a friendly and professional family-owned business that offers EXCELLENT customer service for the repair shop. I had my car serviced with an oil change and inspection last week before a long road trip to Florida. I had a positive experience from the first phone call to the car drop off to the pick-up; communication and attention to detail was incredible, and the service was a great value price-wise. I also felt very safe with their cleaning procedures during COVID. I highly recommend going to R S automotive for service!

Excellent service highly recommend, I failed emissions and needed my O2 sensors replaced. It was done quickly with fair pricing. Very responsive and great customer service.

My good friends who are 30 yr residents of Takoma Park recommended R S. Automotive. I made an appointment and took my car in for a safety check. I knew there had to be something needed because my car is a 2006 Mitsubishi, and it hasnt given me any trouble all this time. The mechanic said I needed new tie rods. I had to make a second appointment for the actual work because the mechanic was very busy with other customers cars.My car now steers better and feels "tighter " and more controllable. I'm happy I got that taken care of ! I highly recommend this repair shop; Mr. Doley at the desk is very patient and thorough as well.

What a wonderful shop. My car experienced some problems over the weekend and I brought it in Monday. They were kind, efficient, and incredibly professional. My car is my baby and I don't trust it with anyone. I will definitely be going back here for care for my car and will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Doley is the best and most honest mechanic I have ever used. His work has always been excellent. Once I had some muffler work to be done, and he said it was easy enough and it would be cheaper at a big muffler place, to save me money. Another time, I went to him after another mechanic had told me I had to replace both bearings. He put the car up, and he told me that only one was bad, the other one was fine. I changed just that one and never had any problem, saving more money. Since then I have always taken the car to him since I can always trust he is there looking after my best interest, not his. He is so honest and liked by everyone that he does not need to make extra bucks cheating people. Moreover, his work is always great quality, and I never had any complaint. I highly recommend it.

I heard about this garage because it was the first to switch to all EV charging. So when we inherited my mother-in-laws 17 year old car, I thought I'd give it a shot. I wasn't disappointed.Mr. Doley was a pleasure to deal with, gave me an honest appraisal of the work to be done and was professional at every step.Highly recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

These guys are great. Honest as the day is long, talented, professional, and they really go the extra mile for their customers. They have your best interests and safety at heart. Their rates are very reasonable and I have always, in the last 16 years, been exceptionally pleased with their work and service. Doley has handled our Priuses beautifully since we got the first one in 2001. Before that, he took care of my Honda. Highly, highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about Doley and RS Automotive! We have been customers for years, and continue to be amazed by the quality of their work and their amazing customer service. Today our car wouldn't start. Doley offered to send over his team to look at the car and then towed it back to their shop. The auxilary battery was replaced in less than 2 hours, and his team drove it back to our home. Thank you!!!

By far the best mechanics in the area. Very knowledgable and top notch service. Doley and Darshan are very personable and will drop everything to help their walk in customers! Highly recommend them for any repairs. They've driven to my car when I was stranded once to inspect it, come to my house to jump start my scooter and fixed an issue just today with my scooter seat. Awesome guys!
