I have a Honda Civic and I took it for an oil change at this location on Thursday afternoon. the clerk called me to let me know about some other maintenance issues that needed to be done that they noticed. Among these were, a new Engine Air filter , exterior lights, fuel system cleaner etc.Before taking my car to this jiffy lube, my AC worked perfectly. I never had any issues with the AC. Immediately after leaving, I noticed that my AC no longer got cold and the A/C started to blew only through certain vents. I brought my car back to the same place, and they said there was nothing they could do and I should take it to another mechanic. I'm extremely skeptical that somehow my AC broke at exactly the same time that they worked on my car without any AC issues in the past.

My mom went in for an oil change and left with a flat tire and chemicals spilled in her car. Are you guys trying to kill her ? She went in for a simple oil change and came home with so many Things wrong with her car. The tire pressure sign completely disappeared from the dash screen. We took the tire to a shop for time to tell me there is nothing wrong with the tire and it has been tampered with. You guys wanted my mom to come back and spend more money. They took complete advantage and it was disgusting. This is not a good way to do business and i hope you guys are shut down. I will be informing others as well

My favorite place to get my oil changed, such a pleasant accommodating staff. They always go above and beyond and do extra things like tidy and vacuum the car and rinse it off. They work pretty quickly too and that s why I keep coming back

Took 2.5 hours to get an oil change. Nice staff but the slowest service I have ever experienced at a jiffy lube. Will not return

I came to get an oil change and was informed it would take only 20 mins., I was there for over an hour. Upon entering my vehicle and turning it on (ready to leave), I noticed CAL lit up on my dash that was NOT there upon arrival. I ve actually NEVER seen it on my dash since purchasing my vehicle. I informed two employees, including the employee who serviced my vehicle (Ricardo). He first tried to tell me, the light was already on LIE! Then he proceeds to tell me it s not his fault, he doesn t know what it means and cannot assist. I have and will continue to share this HORRIBLE experience with family, friends, associates and neighbors as a strong warning to NEVER take their vehicle(s) to Jiffy Lube. I ve been a long time customer and this experience has turned me completely off! Giving 2 stars because all other employees were friendly and professional.

My husband took our car in for an oil change at this location on Monday (5/15). He was the first car in line as they opened in the morning. Despite this, he waited for 1.5 hours to get a simple oil change. They had one employee working on multiple cars. In addition, our car's battery died on 5/19. Please see the photo below of the battery's condition. No one, I repeat - no one - at this location reported to us that the battery acid looked this way. This reflects an attitude that lacks in basic care towards their customers.Do not use this location.Service: Oil change

Sunday morning so perhaps the top crew wasn t working. I was greeted promptly. Down hill from there.After twenty minutes someone in line gave up and left. Someone else asked how long and the gentleman said half hour per vehicle so unless I misunderstood that s 90 minutes for the first car out of line. After ten more minutes none of the cars in bays had moved and I observed the staff to have a lack of urgency unrivaled in my experience.I gave up and drove twenty minutes to the Jiffy Lube in Beltsville. Pulled right in. Advised it would be about 20 minutes and the staff started right away. Oil change completed in Beltsville before I finished writing this review.Based on the pace of work I observed I will not come back. Save yourself the time and drive to Beltsville.

technicians were courteous and knowledgable. Changed my oil and rethread my oil pan for the drain plug explained the reason for the added expense. As a customer I don't mind the extra expense when the reason for it is explained. In this day and time when things are financially tight it is a pleasure to see such professional service.Thanks,JeromeJerome Young's Electrical

Wasn't bad. They did what was asked. Customer service needs a little improvement. It was not bad. Just a little info for new folks.This was my first time ever at this place. I did this for someone else. So I wasn't sure how everything operated. Not sure if they know that we can hear them over the motors and tools while we sit outside or in the waiting area. You can hear everything. Maybe they do know. Lol. But just a heads up guys. If I ever have a car, I might just head back over here. Was in and out in less than an hour of oil change. There is a restroom onsite and complimentary water.

Very fast and friendly service. Nice guys working here, and were attentive. Needed a last minute oil change and was in and out in under 45 mins!

Worker convinced me to pay an extra $150 for products like an oil efficiency product that would make my oil change last longer and gas cleaner that will remove any water from my gas tank. Completely unnecessary and wouldn t take no for an answer.

I just got an oil change and tire rotation. I had initially come in to get brake pad replacement as well (the website lists it as a service offered) only to find out they don t. I waited an hour to only get half the services I was anticipating. They quoted me $143 for services but charged me $166. They also said they d fill the air in my tires with the rotation but didn t. I mentioned these issues to the man who checked me out and his response was oh they didn t tell me . Poor customer service, charging extra than quoted unacceptable overall. I tried to call to speak with management and was hung up on twice when I asked for the manager.Service: Oil change

If a movie theater were nearby, I wouldn't have been too upset with the nearly 2 hour and 30 minute service for a simple oil change. It took nearly 25 minutes before an employee greeted me. He told me it would only take 30 minutes. I thought that made sense with just three cars in front of me. I should have drove off like other vehicles. It took two hours, not thirty minutes. My vehicle was in the bay for 60 minutes. I would recommend only using this location if there isn't any line.

There was over an hour wait. My car was never serviced because no one came to my car to ask me anything. When I came up to someone and asked about getting my oil changed, the employee looked frustrated and directed me to their manager. The manager was servicing someone that came after me and didn t want to discuss anything with me. I ended up leaving and I don t think I ll ever return to this location. I ll be sure to tell my family and friends about this experience too.

My wait time was 2 hours and 30mins to get an oil change, which I was extremely unsatisfied about. Although the oil change was done properly and the price was fine, I believe I shouldn t have to waste my whole day just waiting. It seems like everyone slowed down as the line started to get longer. I will not be returning to this location. The team should work on efficiency.Service: Oil change

I received excellent service to my late model car. The technicians offered me fast,efficient and a thorough check of all systems. My car ran much better. They checked tires,changed oil checked all systems applicable.I immediately noticed the improvement in the overall performance of my car. I would not hesitate returning to the Takoma Park location. I will be there soon.

my experience at the same Jiffy Lube (6510 New Hampshire Ave location just pass the DC line) is always a very good professional hassle free experience. They are efficient and prompt at attending to what service your vehicle needs. And they always offer options if you would like to do more to have your vehicle at peak performance in my opinion.

Jiffy seems to mean three hours because that s what you re singing up to. Workers are great but insanely understaffed

I highly recommend the management to change the separate lines approach. Look at trader joes as an example, it is so much more fair and efficient. The lane next to me handled 4x the cars in the same time. With 3 cars ahead of me, I finally made it in after 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Jiffy lube is a good spot to get your oil changed. The wait is long on most days. However, the do a good job.

I always visit JIFFY LUBE because I personally think the service on my car is good. But today was the exception. I visited this location because it was near by, however I been waiting for almost two hours just to get the line moving. I haven t even been service by now. Really a lose time and also the employees just talking on groups instead of moving the line.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I had the worst experience here and I didn't even get serviced. I waited almost an hour just to TALK to someone about an oil change. I had to get out of my car and approach someone because they kept overlooking me and servicing the cars around me. I was met with a nasty attitude from the manager there. I will never go back to this location.

The prices are too high for an oil change. $93 for a synthetic blend is crazy. Avoid Jiffy Lube in Takoma Park, New Hampshire Avenue.

Great service!! I want to recommend this agency all the people who work there are knowledgeable and professional the customer service is excellent. They explained to me all the procedure and pieces that my car would need to be repaired the time waiting was short even though my car was leaking oil. Honest mechanics! Compare to other places..
