Great experience at this location with AutoZone's free fix finder service for a check engine light. Alex C. was so friendly and helpful, despite the cold weather. In addition to printing the report, he explained the findings step-by-step. I really appreciated his positive attitude and also his sense of humor... he cracked a joke that I should have it framed since it was the best service report he'd ever seen for a check engine light. I'm going to consider this my go-to spot for my car needs.

I went to this store a4 days ago ordered a part the sale associate told me it will be here Monday.i came back he did not even ordered the parts and my manager on duty today 01/16/2024 at 13:00 was very rude and unprofessional to help get the parts and I told him if I order now when will the item will be here he told me week which was not true I went to different auto zone they ordered it for me and said it will be here tomorrow really appreciate this store University boulevard you gays is the best thank you

I initially went to NTB yesterday for new windshield wipers because the ones I got from the dealer less than 18 months ago were leaving streaks, but NTB didn't have the sizes I needed. The guy at NTB was nice enough to tell me to go to Advance Auto a few blocks away for wipers that cost less than the ones at NTB, so off I went but they didn't have one of the sizes I needed so I did a Google search and found this Auto Zone where they had what I needed for less than Advance Auto and NTB, and the young man at the register even gave me a first responders discount!! Plus he was nice enough to come out and put the new wipers on my car while showing me how to do it myself. He also mentioned that my old wipers were still in good condition as evidenced by no rips or "flaps" in the rubber blades and he encouraged me to keep them as backup wipers which I did. He also said the reason there were streaks on my windshield with my old wipers is because they needed to be cleaned and my windshield waxed, which no one ever told me before! I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and tutorial I received from this young man yesterday and will go here from now on for all my car maintenance needs!

John (Ballou) I think, was really clutch and friendly!! Tested my battery, found me the right one, and installed it within 20 minutes on a hot day, and at the end of his shift!! I won t be going back to the other auto parts store ever again after the great service I received here. Store was clean and everyone was friendly and had people in and out!!!

That was a good day for. I went to this store not knowing exactly the exact item I have to buy for my and the customer service was fast and great. Particularly the team member name Magdaline was very helpful. If I have to make a recommendation to an employer, I will definitely introduce that lady.

As much as I like this store and the staff in general, I have had the occasional bad experience. Most recently, I bought a battery jumpstarter and noticed that the box was open. I asked the woman if it had been used and she assured me that no, the box had probably just been opened to look at the unit. However, when I got home I found that the unit was almost fully charged, indicating that it had indeed been used at least once, there were small scratches, and the auxilliary adapter pins were missing. Unfortunately, I had to leave on a trip almost immediately so I didn't have time to bring it back - it did work, after all - but it just left kind of a bad taste. Other than that, I have visited this store dozens of times and have always been satisfied with the availability of products, the prices, and the service.

I was served by a young Hispanic gentleman by the name Jeffers or Jeffrey around noon of last Thursday 9th of June . He is the most courteous gentleman I ve ever come across especially in this day and age. Very polite, gentle and very very respectful ..

I had a fantastic experience here, after visiting several auto parts stores over the last few days and getting terrible service. John and Dane were rock stars!!!! I was greeted with a friendly welcome as arrived late in the evening. The store was clean, organized, and brightly lit. But most importantly, they helped me test my alternator, and gave me the test results so I could review them myself, and then helped me get a replacement part. They were competent, helpful, friendly, and a joy to visit with while they ran the test. THANK YOU BOTH for helping me and this store will be my go to from now on!!!

Extremely clean. The staff didn't greet me when I came in nor did they come into the aisle to see if I needed help. But was very nice and well mannered at the register.

Went in today for synthetic oil+ oil filter and wind shield wiper fluid but couldn't successfully finish my business with this AutoZone store due to terrible customer service by one of the associate (magdelene?). Found the engine oil but not the filter & a wiper fluid. I asked a question regarding the replacement wiper fluid which the lady told me to bring from the aisle 7 shelf. Her response was either take it or leave it [question unwelcomed even if I pay]. She faced away when I asked why she was doing that. My questions were "doesn't it cause problem to my car if I use this fluid as a replacement since it says a 'Bug Remover' on it ?" and "what is the difference between Engine Oil+filter combo vs separate purchase (choose & mix one)?" The lady took the items off of the table & told me "don't start me"! I suspect she was irritated with something else before I came in. I accepted the threat/ultimatum and decided to leave after telling her the treatment was unprofessional. No Name Tag on Associates tried to call and tell what happened to the person who said "am one of the managers" over the phone. NEXT TIME : put Name Tags on, ANSWER customer questions or refer to the place where they can get, don't hire un interested employee and don't mess my work day with disrespect - a lot to do here!

Online ordering is usually seamless. There was a minor issue with a battery core return and Anthony made sure to take care of it, even calling to follow up. Excellent customer service.

I've been to this AutoZone location twice now and I've had great experiences both times. I appreciate how they check your engine codes for free and tell you what they mean, saving you money and time. They are also helpful and courteous on the phone. I will be back!

Best customer service ever , they all call me by name , ruth has allways been polite and helpful ,will has even gave me some helpful advice off the clock outside of autozone when i was having battery cable problems , dan also inquired about my concerns outside of work off the clock all members thus far at this location ruth , will , john , chris , Francisco , dan , and Rebecca have shown me outstanding dedication to there job thank you team autozone of 6875 newhampshire ave takoma park , marylandYou guy are awesome

Terrible experience. Online site is down so I couldn t do curbside pick during Covid- 19!Lost a customer.Called the store and I expressed how I didn t want to come inside due to Covid and the person was very rude.Advanced Auto Parts delivers which I did not know. They will be getting my business for now on.

I recommend you look for another AutoZone. The only guy that new something had a broken arm and couldn t change the battery of my car. Someone else did it, but to be honest I had to go home and do it over myself.I also went to AutoZone because the ad read We can test your car's battery*, alternator*, starter* and voltage regulator while they're still on your car. Just the battery was checked. And if you go there, make sure you have all the time possible, they move very slow. Luckily I went when the store was a empty. I don t recommend this place.

I bought a battery from this location and when I try to get warranty information battery is not on the system. I bought quite a few items since it got opened but I was never saved in my reward account even though I bought it online and picked up in the store it was disappointing I will never get anything from auto zone nor I recommend it to anyone to shop there!!!

Had the pleasure of being helped by a great employee Asset to this location called Vilma , not only was she super helpful and knowledgeable with there products and every annoying question I had but she also taught me a thing or two that had to be maintained more frequently on my vehicle.I will be back and expect to see her againThanks .

Who ever the Jamaican woman is that works there and claims to be one of the managers is incompetent. How she got the position as a manager is beyond me. If I decide to return to this store location I will not work with her I'll wait until another employee is available.

The manager he helped me but as I was talking to him it's like he was ignoring me when he changed my battery in my car example I was just having a conversation about my car and he completely ignored me and went to talkin about the battery that he was putting them and he kept doing that over and over again as though he was mad at me because when we want it inside a question about the core fee so it seemed as though he was trying to hide his anger but it was showing out clearly that he was upset with me for asking a question because he kept ignoring me every time I was talking about something you jump to something else like you never heard me say it I think that's really disrespectful and rude
